Such a beautiful functional lamp, very expensive gift, all good for a couple of years then noticed some bubbling and pitting of the chromed base. Thought of rechroming this and was told by the rechromer that the flaws were due to the base not being prepared properly prior to chroming. Given this I contacted the customer services of the company several times to ask for there comments on the issue, on each occasion I was instructed that the issue was passed to the correct department for addressing the issue raised; no contact had been attempted as they appear to be speechless and unprofessional hence the review, so to some it up, fabulous unique expensive lighting however if anything goes wrong you'll be on your own.
Buy a lamp for 10k SEK. Works for 1 month. When we call the company that made it (flos) they say they can’t repar it. Don’t Buy Flos.
Well I thought I was an anomaly until I read these reviews! It speaks volumes that the Trustpilot site hasn’t been ‘claimed’ by Flos. It goes hand in hand with the abysmal - actually non-existent - customer care. They provide an online form for you to complete in order to outline your problem but then nothing whatsoever happens after that! No response, no acknowledgement, no point.
It’s quite startling how a ‘premium’ product like Flos can survive with such disdain for their customers. We need to get this feedback out there to damage their business sufficiently for them to take note.
At first I was a bit concerned as I received a slightly damaged lamp that I wanted to exchange/return.
In the end everything worked fine but you need to be extremely patient as this can take a month. It's really an unpleasant process. They're are probably understaffed like many customer care departments these days. The lamps (Glo Ball suspension and Kelvin Floor) are more than beautiful! I would suggest not to order these products from their official webstore but from a retailer.
A Terrible experience with the Customer Service of this brand. How can brand that says that is international and luxurious can act like this? I'm their client for more than 8 years and since 2 weeks I'm writing the Customer Service and no reply at all! LACK OF ASSISTANCE AND RESPECT. Just have a problem with my TAB F Black that spontaneously cracked on the axis. Its clearly a casted problem considering that the aluminum is ultra thin. Sent all the report with pictures to them and no reply. The quality is horrible.

Missing part of our lamp upon delivery. Albeit we informed the company of this later as we only opened the packages a while later, 6 weeks on and we still don’t have any resolution from them as to when we’ll receive the missing part. Nor will they provide us with a refund.
Customer service give no information, no service, and no desire to fix the situation. We have to chase to get any further.
Shocking.
Shockingly bad response to faulty lamp. Bought lamp from online retailer Utility after a couple of weeks the power to the lamp failed on investigation is is an intermittent fault with the plug fiddling with the plug connected and disconnected the power to the lamp. I sent a video of this intermittent fault. Response was
"I need to clarify that if the fitting after inspection found faulty and that can be fixed with spare parts, we will fix and return it to you. In case cannot be fixed with spare parts, we will replace it, credit is not an option.
If after inspection item found not faulty or that has been misused by your client, you will be charged for abortive labour £65.00 ex vat/ per hour plus the parts they will be used to resolve the issue and fitting will be returned to you".
So in response to proven fault I had to be without the lamp and they treated to charge me £65 an hour to fix!!! Bear in mind the lamp was only 2 weeks old. They claim to have a 2 year guarantee!!
Totally dissatisfied and the easiest way to fix is simply cut off the plug and replace with a standard UK 3 pin plug. The core problem is the stupid design of the plug which is an 'overplug' on a standard 2 pin european plug clearly the connections inside are faulty and to make matters worse the screw to open the pug has been modified to prevent the pug being opened to examine the connections.
My advice is don't be fooled by the attractive design the utility is poor and service atrocious.
Enviaram-me uma lâmpada partida e recusaram-se a substitui-la, pior atendimento de sempre. Não recomendo e nunca mais comprarei nesta marca. Uma desilusão enorme.

Shocking! Flos designs are gorgeous but how can they sustain a business with such awful lack of customer service? They have mastered the art of responding in a seemingly helpful way but blocking every request for assistance. They just trot out a tiny variation of a series of letters that get nowhere. Must be a road to hell for all concerned. What a way to conduct one’s precious life.
Ho acquistato due lampade Flos Romeo Babe Wall, togliendo le etichette adesive presenti in gran quantità sul prodotto, ad una è rimasta attaccata la vernice danneggiando la lampada. Flos non ha riconosciuto la difettosità del prodotto (anche se evidente e confermato dal fatto che alla seconda lampada non è successo nulla) sostenendo che gli adesivi non vanno tolti (dicono che è indicato nelle istruzioni ma non è scritto da nessuna parte), però sul sito internet mettono soltanto foto della lampada senza adesivi. Ad una richiesta inviata al servizio informazioni, Flos dichiara che le foto del sito internet corrispondono alla realtà (assolutamente falso visto che si devono lasciare tutti gli adesivi che ricoprono gran parte del supporto e sono molto evidenti). Tutto è documentato e in mano ai miei legali. Diffidate da Flos.
Ordered a Flos reading lamp.£365 uk. It took 6 weeks to arrive and sadly when opened it had missing pieces and was damaged with a piece snapped off. I have returned the item and asked for a refund but Flos will not refund until item received back with them even though their courier dhl have confirmed the item is en route back to them. I am bitterly disappointed with Flos and having worked in customer service all my life I would say theirs leaves a lot to be desired. I will not purchase from Flos again. Sadly having read other comments I’m not on my own.

Expérience horrible qui s’apparente à une arnaque !! Il y a 3 mois nous avons commandé 2 luminaires tatou FLOS ,lorsqu’ils sont arrivés les variateurs ne fonctionnaient pas .flos nous a fait acheter des ampoules chez eux (40€ l’ampoule) ça ne fonctionne toujours pas ! Ils envoie des nouveaux variateurs ,sur des produits neufs !1600€ ! C’est du bricolage !!! Et 1 sur 2 fonctionne ! Maintenant ils veulent les récupérer au frais du revendeur pour expertise !!!entreprise FLOS à fuir !!inacceptable ça s’apparente à une escroquerie! Du vol!!!
J’ai 2 luminaires de 1600€ que je dois débrancher pour les éteindre !A ce prix là regardez d’autre Marque De bien meilleure qualité avec un SAV qui ne se moque pas des clients si vous en avez besoin !!je ne suis pas la première personne à qui ça arrive !!! Une Honte!
Bought some ic s1 lamps.
One of them spontaneously cracked and formed a hole on the top. Tried to get in touch with their customer support and was asked to send an email.
One week after doing that I have received no response at all.
That's really substandard for a company dealing in high end products.

I finally got in touch with Flos, they sent me back to the shop where I bought the lamp that immediately informed me that Flos had rejected the claim because they think I probably hit the lamp or something for it to break.
The lamp is suspended about 3 meters from the floor and clearly no one ever touched it since it was put up.
Flos ASSUMES this was my fault and doesn't take responsibility on their item being defective.
Please avoid this company like the plague. A company selling products at this price point should have both better quality and better customer support.
Tre anni fa circa ho comprato due lampade a cono a sospensione della Flos ( Home String Light Cono) dal rivenditore Palmieri Ilumintecnica di Roma.
Quasi mai accese, in quanto sono più che altro decorative, ma una delle due si è rotta e non si accende più.
Smonto il lume e tramite il rivenditore lo invio alla casa produttrice.
Dopo tempi di attesa biblici ( mesi), mi dicono che la scheda è andata in tilt, forse a causa di un temporale. L'altra lampada però ha continuato a funzionare.
Costo della sostituzione 220 euro.
Mi chiedo come collaudano queste lampade, se un semplice temporale può mandarle fuori uso.
Credevo in una maggiore qualità del prodotto, maggiore serietà e rapidità di risposta dell'azienda.
Evidentemente il design va a scapito delle prestazioni.
Non le ricomprerei.

Efter udpakning konstaterer jeg en fejl på lampen.
Jeg fremsender billeder, som viser fejlen.
En meget arrogant medarbejder (navn kan oplyses) hos Flos, oplyser at man ikke kan se noget på billederne og at man derudover ikke gider behandle sagen.
Så nu har jeg en indpakket dyr Flos 265 lampe med fejllakering indpakket.
Kan ikke anbefale Flos - har aldrig nogen sinde været ude for noget lignende.
