Probably the worst experience I’ve had with any furniture company. Ordered a table, the table was faulty. The table was picked up and instead of sending me a replacement, I was sent the exact same table. I then proceeded to contact customer care who then informed me that I wouldn’t be receiving my item for another three months.

It’s a shame because the quality of the furniture is good and I’d recommend it. The quality control and the support was what let this down.

Stephen was very helpful and sorted my issue out right away. Amazing customer service.

I bought some furniture in 2024 which later developed a defect. The team were helpful and supportive and despite it being out of the time policy they organised a replacement. Very helpful!

I had never heard of Fische and Lilly but it came up when I was looking for a sofa bed to suit an old style / retro room suggesting the Oslo mid century modern tufted, which was perfect. As I needed it delivered to a remote area and for a particular window of time I was not optimistic it would be possible but Fische and Lilly made everything very easy and the customer service from Stephen was superb. The delivery was scheduled as promised and it was possible to also arrange assembly.
The sofa bed arrived today and is as perfect as I hoped. I could not recommend this company highly enough and will use again.

Unfortunately, I’ve not had a very good experience with this company-I needed to cancel my items and send back a partially delivered order yet I’m still waiting for my refund over 2 weeks later……

I suspect a lot of the reviews are fake. I ordered two bedside tables. Both arrived with marks, scratches and in one case, a badly damaged corner. One - and this is pretty funny - appeared to have arrived without the hardware to install the legs.

On second glance, the hardware was actually rolling around in there, behind the drawers, with no easy way of getting it out.

Just a really bad experience.

Ordered two Wright Oak Bedside Tables for our master bedroom. My order arrived in two days (I was amazed by the speed!), and they are beautiful. So happy with the quality and the entire experience. Thank you!

This company sells items which are entirely style over substance, and it has dreadful customer service too.

We bought an entire bedroom furniture set from them - wardrobe, drawers, and two dressing tables. Not at all cheap. And they all LOOK beautiful. But how they manage to make drawers that hold so little is actually beyond me.

The big issue though, is the wardrobe. Firstly, we waited MONTHS for this item, because they initially sent us the wrong colour. They collected the incorrect one quickly, but said they were out of stock now in the correct colour (that matches our other items). Annoying... But okay, a simple mistake, and they can't help it now being out of stock I guess? THEN many months later they said we have it back in stock but it's now at a new significantly higher price, and they expected us to pay the difference. Our compensation for 3 months without a wardrobe due to THEIR mistakes was for US to pay MORE. We said "right forget this, we want to return the whole set", to which they refused. So we either buy a wardrobe elsewhere that doesn't match, or pay these jokers EVEN MORE MONEY. After A LOT of time spent complaining and many phone calls, they agree to send us the new wardrobe at the price we originally agreed.

When it arrives, again, it LOOKS beautiful. But, it isn't deep enough for normal coat hangers. So, I can't hang normal adult sized clothes on normal adult hangers. It also isn't tall enough internally (once you account for the drawer and rail) to hang dresses, or anything long. Add to this that one of the two wardrobe doors has now broken (so it now doesn't clip shut) within 2 months of it arriving, and I have never regretted a purchase as much as I do this wardrobe.

Will F&L do anything to compensate this most recent problem? Hah, good one.

I would recommend to avoid this company like the plague.

We ordered the Oslo bedside tables and one arrived perfect and we had an issue with another. Fishe and Lilly replaced this straight away with no issues and made it very convenient for us. Stephen’s customer service is excellent

AVOID THIS COMPANY. I wish I had read the negative reviews to find out just how bad this scam of a company is. Tried to return a product that had been misrepresented by an image on their website, and they took no accountability for rectifying the issue, yet still charged me for the return.

Have gone through a PayPal dispute and have won, but this still does not hold the company liable for return shipping, so I am out of pocket and will advise anyone and everyone to avoid purchasing anything from Fische and Lilly. They do not care about misadvertising a product and have the most awful customer service. Don't be fooled by a fancy-looking website. Such a shame, as it's now made me very wary of shopping from small online businesses.

Editing in response to the owner's reply: Paypal can only enforce a full refund of the money transacted through Paypal (I only found this out after raising the dispute), so unfortunately, I still had to fork out on a return fee as this had not been paid by either party at the point of dispute. So PayPal did NOT rule in favor of your company (they ruled in favor of misrepresentation of the product), and I have the confirmation email from PayPal to prove this, but I can't attach an image to this review.

There is a recurring pattern in the theme of the negative Fische & Lilly reviews, and that is to dismiss and not take accountably for errors on their part. Most companies take accountability for an error, rectify it with their customers, and make the necessary changes so it doesn't happen again. This company doesn't do that and makes the customer pay, so best to avoid!

Overall I am happy with my experience. I bought two Scandinavian Walnut Oslo Bedside Tables a couple of months ago. They arrived in about 3 working days, very well packaged, although it is true that there was a very strong smell in the drawers which is still sort of there. There was a problem with one of the tables, but Stephen from customer support was very responsive and we reached a satisfactory solution. After these months of use, the tables are working well and look lovely in the bedroom. Thank you

Avoid this company.
The products I received bore little resemblance to the descriptions and images on the website. The quality was extremely poor and far below what was advertised.

What made the experience even worse was the returns process. I was expected to pay the return shipping costs, which were higher than the value of the items themselves. This left me out of pocket simply for receiving products that did not meet my expectations based on the website.

I explained over the phone that the products were of unacceptable quality, but the response I received suggested they had little interest in resolving the issue or listening to customer feedback. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company. If you're expecting products that match the descriptions on the website and a customer-focused service if something goes wrong, you may be very disappointed.

We purchased 2 small bedside tables. They were incredibly well packaged and the delivery arrived very quickly. We were a little disappointed with the quality of the tables and thought they were quite expensive for what they are. Overall they meet our needs and fit very well in the small space

We are delighted with our bedside tables. The quality is high, they look very stylish and are practical. We wanted something that looked good and fitted a small space and these are perfect .

Good quality product, good price & arrived quickly. A week later they accidentally sent me a duplicate order but 5 mins on the chat function with customer service and they arranged a collection for the next working day.

I preordered 2 bedside tables on 2nd May which were due to begin delivering on 22nd May. I was asked to pay 50% on ordering and 50% prior to delivery. The second payment was taken on 18th May. 22nd May, no tracking info so I contacted the company to be told the ‘additional’ stock was delayed but would be received before 6th June. I pointed out they clearly knew on 18th they didn’t have enough stock coming and had accepted more preorders than they could fulfil, but still took payment. They replied a very wishy-washy response, that they appreciate my patience. I’m not patient at this point and had made that clear. The 6th of June has come and gone, no tracking info, no contact, no offer for me to cancel the order. **edit 11/06/2026 - items arrived this evening after receiving tracking info this morning. The items are lovely and as I’d hoped. The fact I had to prompt all the communication and chase for updates was frustrating and customer service could definitely be better

These bedside tables (Scandinavian Walnut Oslo)are excellent quality. I had my eye on something similar with Swoon, however they had a waiting build for stock for 6months out! With a little deeper searching I found these from Fishe and Lilly, delivered in 2 days. You can even ask for a specific delivery date. Pre-built, you only need to screw the feet on, super simple. They look gorgeous, the draws are great for keeping books and glasses. I went for the Walnut colour to match with an existing chest of draws. Highly recommend.

Service was First Class and answered all my questions. We were away for a few days and the delivery was due before we arrived back but Stephen delayed the dispatch from the Warehouse, and it arrived the day after we got back; Perfect.
