FieldGoods Anmeldelser

Delicious food with very authentic flavours, the lasagne was particularly tasty! I would highly recommend if you want a break from cooking.

I bought several meals from FieldGoods and they were all extremely tasty. The quality of the ingredients was excellent. I would definitely recommend and will be buying further meals in the future.

Excellent meals Excellent prices Excellent service

Beef bourguignon was delicious. Bread and butter pudding, I detest currants and raisins, not one in sight.! Very creamy with a great hit of fresh raspberries. Mac and cheese my least favourite, but still tasty. Everything delivered on time. Second order in freezer awaiting to be scoffed. Will be ordering from the Xmas range soon. Can’t wait…….

Exceptional food!! So tasty and so great to have as new parents

Ordered for the first time and have not been disappointed! The quality of the food is great and the portions are just right for two of us! Will be ordering again. Sean R.

Bought our first batch of 7 meals for 2 and 3 desserts . They were all extremely tasty and will definitely buy then on a regular basis

The taste was amazing and the quality of the food was exceptional. By far the best from other companies offering a similar product, The fast delivery was also appreciated.

I honestly don’t understand the appeal of this food company. It’s rare I feel the need to write a bad review, but in this case FieldGoods is an expensive product so you’d expect the quality to match the price and the awards they’ve won.

I realise I’m an outlier here, and this is just my opinion. But I’ve tried their Lasagna, Thai red veg curry, Thai green curry, meatballs and Spanish chicken and I found them all to be unpleasant in some way.

One of the main issues with all of them is the very thin sauces, they’re all basically like water. The lasagna in particular was swimming in water once cooked.

But the biggest thing is the very strange flavour combinations. The meatballs are mixed with a weird herb / leaf - I wasn’t able to identify it but it made it taste like soap.

The Thai veg curry had a strange texture and lacked flavour.

It’s unfortunate because I spent almost £70 on an order for just a handful of meals because the marketing says such good things about them. But the reality just doesn’t live up to the hype.

The only ready meal company we've tried that are actually really delicious and healthy.

Quality food

We have now tried the fish pie and the Boeuf Bourguignon and there’s a lasagne in the freezer. Both taste homemade (and this from someone who makes her boeuf bourguignon over three days in the traditional Burgundy way). Both are exceptionally tasty and well seasoned. The sauce in the fish pie was spectacular ! No one would ever suspect that you had bought it in. The portions could be a little big larger or perhaps the price just a little less but it’s not a deal breaker if you long for very good convenience food. Really impressed. Offers would be great but I like that you aren’t bombarded with emails from the company. Delivery was prompt but the parcel was left in the sun and where it could have been stolen when there were other places to leave it. Great grub! Thanks guys!

Came across Fieldgoods when I was shopping at a similar competitor online. Loved the story behind the brand and also the focus on quality meals (good quality meats, etc).
I have to say, so far I have been extremely impressed the the quality and flavour of the dishes. The Butter chicken was beautiful and the lasagne was a gorgeous, proper home cooked lasagne! My wife is half Italian and she loved it!!!

Will continue to work through the range and look forward to more dishes joining the roster.

5 stars

Great meals beautifully packaged and felt like a real treat to have waiting at the end of a busy day!

We enjoyed all the meals we ordered.
The bread and butter pudding was a real star.
I was delighted to find a company that uses free range british chicken rather than just "chicken".
Organic would be even better from a welfare point of view but I realise that cost is always a factor.
I am ordering some more for those busy rainy days.
The delivery was quick as promised.

We have found the options and quality of the meals exceptional. The meals are tasty, filling and very affordable. The delivery always arrives on time and the service is excellent.

Some of the dishes were really really good and some not so. Recommend Chicken and Leek Pie, Beef Bourguignon and Meatballs. Wide berth to the Fish Pie and Goan Fish Curry.
Trying the Tarragon Chicken this time.

Delicious and reliable, received it as a gift first and have then shared this onward. Perfect for new parents.

This company far far more personable and responds to queries quickly which are polite and caring.
As to the food, well please never try the tarragon chicken, the chickpea masala or anything as we want them! Think homely, happy, tasty and easy to cook and eat , in better packaging unlike a ‘look’ alike and know what marries quality and price!
I personally don’t know the founders, but l am happy to share a quality product.
