We would recommend Fidler and Pepper to anyone in the process of buying a house. We were helped by Amber and Ross, they talked us through each step of the process (making it much less stressful!) and were always happy/ quick to respond to any queries we had.

Lost original documents slow and laborious
I was informed that getting grant of probate for my late mum, and the beneficiary of the will would be hard to do myself. It turns out after lost I’d checks ( x2 ) and a lost original death certificate 4 weeks wanted that this is not the case.
The final straw was when I was asked to get valuations of my parents house and told I had only sent the original will after paying for special delivery and the documents were received on the Monday I was asked on the Friday for more new information by Aimee.
The information I completed on the government website was actually less than Aimee kept asking me for. My very sick father and my sister on holiday in America had to be I’d check and then 2 were subsequently lost and asked to do again when I did it showed complete.
The government website only needed 2 executors, this is not a service I would recommend at a time when I’m grieving my late mother.

We had a good experience with our mortgage application. Our case was handled by Chloe Foley and Marie Hickling - everything went smoothly, was able to get clarifications on the phone with Chloe, who was very helpful. The wider team also responded quickly to our queries.
