Failing at so many fronts:
UI/UX experience does not mean minimum standards, uploads and campaign creation task fail and there is no feedback that highlights the underlying issue just something went wrong.
This meant being on the support chat constantly to get misleading and inconsistent information from the support team (one stating the limit as 5000 and next one 2000) some stating having these many contacts is the issue.
That means you can't count on their system if you have a large set of contacts. The next issue is performance, pages taking minutes to load and not loading at at all time to time.
It took 2 weeks to setup the Shared Campaign feature and once it was set up and ready to go issues with uploading contacts started to appear and we have just cancelled.
I wouldn't use this system ever again and would suggest that you look for alternatives.
It was my problem to troubleshoot their issues
The first issue I ran into was that I couldn't connect my Microsoft 365 business account to Expandi for the automated email functionality. I was following the instructions on the website, but I only saw a brief, ambiguous "error" notification flash in the corner of the UI when I attempted to connect to my email server. This cost me time and functionality.
The second issue that I ran into was that I had to reach out to Expandi support to find out what was wrong. This cost me time.
The third issue I ran into was that when I reached out to Expandi support, they said they couldn't connect to Microsoft 365 Business accounts. I really wish I had known this information before I created an Expandi account. This cost me limited functionality.
The fourth issue I ran into was that Expandi support instructed me to create and use a Google email address instead. Unfortunately, I am in the U.S., where data privacy does not exist, and Google is a corrupt data mining company. My business handles sensitive information, so I was disappointed to see Expandi promoting a data-mining platform. This, in turn, caused concern about Expandi's data privacy measures. Are they simply trusting and relying entirely on the EU's data privacy policies to protect their customers from data mining? This cost me time and trust for limited functionality.
The fifth issue I ran into was that when I tried to cancel my Expandi subscription, I was required to provide a reason/explanation. Expandi already has more than enough documented evidence of the problems, so why are you putting this responsibility and requirement on me? This cost me time and money, and it's neither my requirement nor my responsibility to troubleshoot and debug your product. This cost me time.
The sixth issue I ran into was that I kept getting stuck in a loop of obstacles that prevented me from cancelling my subscription in my account settings. This cost me time and money.
The seventh issue I ran into was that I had to reach out to Expandi support to ask about the issue with the cancellation process. This cost me time and money.
The eighth issue I ran into was that Expandi responded with a series of screenshots and instructions I needed to follow to cancel my subscription myself. This cost me time and money.
The ninth issue I ran into was that the instructions provided by Expandi did not work beyond Step 2. This cost me time and money.
The tenth issue I ran into was that I had to contact Expandi support again and ask why the instructions did not work. This cost me time and money.
The eleventh issue I ran into was that Expandi charged my credit card again. This cost me money.
The twelfth issue I ran into was that I had to contact Expandi support again and demand a refund and cancellation of my subscription. This cost me time and money.
The thirteenth issue I ran into was that Expandi support responded that they were unable to cancel my account or refund my money, and it could be several days until their finance department responded. This cost me time and money.
The fourteenth issue I ran into was that, after the finance department finally cancelled my account and refunded the charge, Expandi leadership contacted me to discuss it. This is not my responsibility. Your platform issues are your problem, not mine. This cost me time, and I don't want to do your job for you.
The fifteenth issue I ran into was that, after I did not respond to the emails that dragged me into further conversation about their problems, they booked a meeting with me to discuss it. Why are you making your business my problem? This cost me time.
I'm done communicating your issues to you. Fix your own problems, instead of putting the responsibility on me. Your issues are your responsibility. They cost me a lot of time and money.

Digging around Expandi, which I inherited as a tool, I could see how robust it was but the automated tutorials and chatbot didn't provide enough details to effectively understand all the things the platform could do or how to set it up appropriately for our particular use-case. After having gone through an extremely helpful onboarding call with Neville I couldn't be more excited to dive into this tool more deeply. With the sheer size of our TAM, the things shared on the onboarding call are going to make the execution of what we want to be doing so much easier and efficient. It's always great to talk to a live human when onboarding new tools to the GTM stack and their team clearly knows the platform and can help apply best practices against what you're trying to achieve.

I thought I would be able to set up and get started by myself but there were a few hurdles the last of which was that my data from Sales Navigator was not being uploaded. Neville suggested trying to upload the URL with a fresh search vs. a Saved search and that was the magic. I also appreciated him walking me through all the settings and recommending safe limits for LinkedIn.
