Ewbanks  Anmeldelser

Strong expertise in a broad range of areas, good customer service, great range of diverse sales which are very accessible. Highly recommmend to first time buyers/sellers and seasoned collectors alike!

It was a pleasure to work with Alastair and team on the specialist sale of Phil’s personal work and effects . There were over 100 lots , representing a life’s work so very personal and ultimately attracting a niche market . Ewbanks handled the event with professionalism and integrity , always open to advice and collaboration - the in-house team showcased and photographed Phil’s work beautifully - just as he would have wanted . The sale far exceeded expectations and the hammer prices often doubled the reserves . All lots were sold - many of the unique pieces are now in the hands of new custodians who will look after his legacy and celebrate his memory and long career in film . That ultimately was the one of our main goals .. and it was 100 percent achieved .

I have had several dealings with Ewbanks, both buying AND selling across a few Departments. I have always found the staff easy to get on with, helpful and professional. They have given me lots of guidance and been very supportive ensuring that the items I bought and sold were successful. I will continue to use Ewbanks for all future Auctions and highly recommend them.

Poor customer service.
I buy and sell autographs and was interested in some autograph books.
Ewbanks have several autograph books for sale and I asked them to send me more images.
They replied that they were too busy to send more images !! The auction is in 8 days time !!
Hands up anybody who buys something without seeing what there buying ?
It takes 15-20 minutes to take some photo's and send them to a potential buyer.
It's not asking a lot.
Some auction houses send lots of photo's so as they can get the maximum amount for there vendors.
Sadly...Ewbanks is not one of them.
They said they didn't have the time or staff to send me more images.
If that's right, maybe you need to close your auction and find another job.
I will never buy anything from them or ask for more images again

Staff have always seemed quite helpful. Unfortunately, they no longer accept cash for payment on collection of your auction items. Ewbanks claim this is because of anti money laundering regulations but they do not say which regulations. Ewbanks say customers can pay by credit/debit card but I was not given that option for paying for my items.

Great service, I was interested in some trading cards and got some great help. Especially like to mention Roy

I sought advice on trading cards from Roy Raftery at Ewbanks. I appreciated his prompt response and was very impressed by his knowledge and understanding. I had no prior knowledge and found his advice clear and informative and valued his honesty and integrity. Following this experience I should be very happy to approach other Ewbank departments at any time.

As always a pleasure to deal with. Extremely efficient and very knowledgeable. The auctions are great fun. Love bidding and loved the water colour that I won. Will definitely be back for the James Bond auction. Keep up the good work

As a seller I found Ewbanks and the specific staff I had dealings with to be very reliable, helpful and very professional. I was delighted with how they promoted the articles I was selling and very pleased with outcome of the sale. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ewbanks to anyone wishing to sell through an auction house.

Frankly, I found Ewbanks extremely professional. From the word go, I was advised by their experienced experts which auction to enter an item in, and what estimate level to expect. Their team promoted my items appropriately, and I have to say that, thankfully, the entire process was seamless and my items all sold. I could not fault them and I recommend Ewbanks highly. They are well respected and importantly, trusted.

I have used Ewbanks on many occasions to sell at auction. Email responses are second to none, overall great experience from both the team and the auction.

I have purchased from Ewbanks on several occasions and have found them to be very professional and helpful.
I will be using them again in the future.
