EverTrek were brilliant from the arrival extraction from Tribhuvan to the safe haven of Aloft and the management of the itinerary keeping everyone informed and catered for given the very challenging flight delays presented to a number of our group. This was so well taken into stride that all the features were exceptional and at all time it was clear that the whole Team was doing their absolute best for all of us. This was even applied to the flight organisation out to Lukla which although necessarily early allowed us without fuss or anguish to catch the early window arriving to meet the Trekking Team of Ngima,(Sirdar) Chhiring and Mangale, all of Tamang heritage, The Hill People. They were tremendous, anticipating our wants , needs and with a more than knowing eye which I'm sure meant that even though were were of different fitness and trekking histories kept us happily together to bond and enjoy all the challenges, Ups and Downs- of the paths that is!
We even were able to keep our porters smiling with the early starts and consequently enjoyed some new dance moves in the Tihar Festival, a solid Team.
Clearly it was not easy but the rewards for meeting the "acclimatising-Rest Days!" paid off and the enthusiasm evident when we met other Nepalese when they realised who we were with reinforced a feeling of confidence, we are sure this came to our advantage when one needed a late night Pony Ride and when we needed helicopter flights from Lukla, It was clear that unspoken influences were being kindly applied on our behalfe, and we are/were extremely grateful. The scenery was wonderful but the Team were brilliant.

Annapurna Circuit October 2024

What a fantastic experience! From the moment we walked into the arrivals hall at Kathmandu airport until leaving 3 weeks later we were looked after by all the EverTrek staff. Completing the full 'Classic Circuit' felt like a real achievement and the sights and experiences on the way round were second to none.

Saj our Head Guide, ably assisted by Abi and Nero ensured a smoothly run trek, dealing with any issues with ease and professionalism. I was especially impressed by the porters who were an integral part of the team, always smiling and supportive. We were a relatively large group, who quickly gelled thanks in part to this support.

The accommodation was much better than I expected and the food was good and plentiful.

An honorable mention must also go the the EverTrek UK based staff, always helpful, responsive and happy to answer any questions.

I'm not one for hyperbole, however it was awesome!!

Wanted to say what a fabulous trip I had doing the Annapurna Circuit... It was everything I wanted and more.

I was due to do this trip with my husband and other friends, but my husband had an accident before we went and was not able to come.. Instead of 7, there were 6 of us. The rest of the group on meeting, were great, we all gelled well together and made a nice team. Unfortunately 2 of the group left after a few days, leaving 15 of us in total.

Saj our guide, along with Abi and Nero were excellent in ALL aspects. Even though Saj had extra work in getting transport and the other two trekkers back to Kathmandu, he was very professional. Saj was very knowledgable with any questions put to him on an array of subjects. He had an ability to mix with all the characters within the group. The porters were humbling and inspirational, always smiling.

I was the one mostly at the back, taking loads of pictures..... everyone was very patient with me and on a few occasions the guides, took pictures for me, so I had some of myself, for which I am grateful. The guides were very respectful, in giving me space when we went to the monastery in Upper Pissang, (and elsewhere). It was a special moment for me to be in the monastery listening to the monks chanting and I was able to have some mediative space. At no time did I feel rushed to join the rest of the group.

The support the guides gave was excellent!. I have a small bit of vertigo, and going over a couple of paths, where they were narrow, I needed extra help as the poles were not helping.

The accommodation was far better than I thought we were going to get, all but one had bathrooms attached, which surprised me. It was great to embrace local food, drink and homestays. Fresh LGH, lemon ginger and honey tea was delicious and is now the go to at home.

Having the flight from Pokhara back to Kathmandu was a lovely surprise, and it was great that we were sat with the views of the mountains on the left.

Highly professional, excellent communication and brilliant service throughout. The company made sure we were well looked after throughout our travels. The team in Nepal were exceptional - including super guides Bal/Soman and our team of porters. Honourable mention for Anuj who was a total hero when our flights to Lukla were cancelled and managed to get us a helicopter to our destination. I can't recommend these guys highly enough and will be using them again when I return to Nepal next year.

I have recently returned from Kilimanjaro. The arrangements made by EverTrek in Tanzania were first class, and the pre-trip support was excellent - I particularly appreciated the advice booklet they provided, which covered all aspects of the trip. I have no hesitation in recommending EverTrek to anyone considering a high altitude hike/climb.

As a solo traveller it's a huge comfort to have the Tuesday tune ins and group chats. Evertrek is the only company I've booked with that really encourages a community/team building network! A huge credit to the team for their commitment to current and future trekkers, beginners (like me)
and experienced alike!

EverTrek are more like family, no question is too difficult and the whole community they have built are all supportive and friendly . I would highly recommend EverTrek to anybody and I’m already planning my second adventure with them.

After having an incredible trip to Everest Base Camp with Evertrek, I booked again for Macchu Picchu and Aconcagua. The guides are the best, paid fairly and looked after and it really shows. The UK team are so friendly and welcoming, making booking super smooth.

The crux for me is the fact you can change the dates of your trip for free and no hassle if things go wrong (we moved dates twice due to Covid and then my friend breaking her leg), with exceptional customer service. Highly recommend.

I found Evertrek were extremely helpful, I left an inquiry and sophie called back promptly, emailing me all the information that I requested. The flexibility of times meant I could call around my work which made organising my trip much easier.

We’ve yet to depart(!) but Evertrek (and in particular Sophie) have been super helpful in providing advice, tailoring our trip with add-ons and answering our various questions. We selected Evertrek because other providers were unable to commit to our needs 12 months in advance and we needed certainty on dates. I was also drawn to the UK training opportunities in the lead up.

I have done Everest Base Camp with Evertrek and even when the weather was bad and we would potentially miss our flight the staff did everything to get us back in time , this is let alone the fact that our guides and porters have now become close friends what a wonderful company.

I do not use my married name in reviews EverTrek. And you say twice you have gone to Everest??? No. You have gone to Everest Base Camp. That's a simple journey for most people. Your aggressive response is repulsive. Show us your Everest Certs if you have gone there? Making yourself a laughing stock.

Before we even began our trip, the contact we had from  EverTrek was brilliant. Every question or query we emailed through was answered quickly or dealt with - including accommodating allergies and hiring appropriate kit. The option to be able to pay off our trip was appreciated (and used!).
I am 45, my husband is 54; we get out hiking as much as we can and lead pretty active lifestyles. The hiking aspect of this trip was completely doable (tough, but still doable!), however the altitude does make it a bit more challenging! Don't let that put you off though as the guides have strategies to lessen the impact and while it made it a little more challenging, it didn't take away from the experience at all. The more you prepare yourself physically, the more you will enjoy!!
The Tomacaya route is magic - and it truly felt our group had the mountains to ourselves. There were 10 of us in the group, and what an awesome bunch they were. Supportive, encouraging, understanding - and some of the best senses of humour I have come across (a must in the mountains!). Felt lucky to be able to experience this trek with them.
Our guides were brilliant, and knew exactly what pace to keep us at, had one eye on us the whole time and made sure we dragged our eyes away from the views when we needed to be watching our step. Their passion and knowledge about the mountains made it even more special.
The camping aspect was a highlight- while we like being out in the mountains, we are not campers. We hired sleeping bags, were provided with sleeping mats and despite the winds and freezing temps on the first night, we were comfy and warm in the tents (take hand warmers!). The campsites were absolutely stunning. The team would have them set up before we arrived and dinner would be on the go. The cooks did an amazing job and we were well fed each night with soups, hot meat dishes, rice/pasta/potato and salads. Lunch and breakfasts provided were also more than enough and exactly what we needed - vegetarian options also provided.
All guides, including our trips to Inca sites, had the local knowledge of when to be at certain places to miss the worst of the crowds, and like Victor and Andy (trek guides) Sylvia had amazing knowledge of Inca civilization and helped us to try and make sense of it all.
Obviously Machu Picchu was a highlight, but it was made even more special by what came before it. Those 6 days of trekking were just the best ever. As we joined the Inca Trail, it became obvious very quickly we were no longer up in 'our' mountains, and it was very different experience, but just as brilliant and beautiful. And getting to Sun Gate... a special moment!
The only thing about the actual trek I would feedback about it the organisation of tips for the team. They 100% deserve it, but some guidance on how to split it up between the teams would be useful - we spent a lot of time discussing this! I appreciate that a % is suggested, but either building this into the overall cost or guiding on the best ways to split would be useful - they all work as hard as each other and dividing up the money was difficult!
I genuinely can't say enough about how much we enjoyed the whole experience (including the early mornings) and I would do it all again in a second. 

Highly recommend booking a Mt. Kilimanjaro trek with Evertrek - we had helpful communication with lots of friendly staff before setting off. Mt Kilimanjaro is majestic and we feel privileged to have experienced it 🙏

Our chief guide Silvano and his team are EXCEPTIONAL and all 13 people in our group summited as a result. We cannot stress enough that it would not be possible to summit without the team. We are in awe of and forever grateful to every person on the team ❤️

We were also fortunate to share the journey with the loveliest bunch of people who were so much fun, making the whole experience more enjoyable than we could have hoped for. We cannot wait to meet up with them for a reunion in January 🍻

If you have already booked your trip and are lucky enough to have Silvano and his team, follow Silvano's advice and you will summit. Silvano asked for feedback on the final day and we could not think of any improvements they could make as everything was perfect. We all knew that we were in the best hands from day one ❤️

Our advice to trekkers would be to take Diamox before starting the trek, layer up for sleeping from Shira 1 camp, invest in blow up pillows or anything to make sleeping more comfortable, and take a selection of sugary sweets. We only took protein bars and were delighted when someone in the group shared haribo etc. for the odd treat 🍬

Our most important advice regards tipping. Evertrek recommend tipping 10% of the cost of the trip. When you see the size of the team (33 for our group) and how hard everyone is working doing all the heavy lifting and setting up between campsites, you will quickly realise that 10% is not enough when divided by this number of people. We found ourselves not having as much cash as we wanted to tip. Take plenty of US dollars to avoid this and be as generous as you can afford with tipping.

You can also consider giving to the team any items that you don't need at the end of the trip. If you have space in your suitcase, you could also consider taking items that would be helpful for local schools. Zara Tours can inform about required items.

Amazing holiday experience - from deposit (and postponing due to covid) to finally realising the dream of hiking to Everest Base Camp, Evertrek provided the best support and service. Its important to have confidence in the people and process of doing something out of the ordinary, and Evertrek ensured that any concerns and worries were addressed before and most importantly during the hike. Great team, lovely people.

Fantastic experience with Evertrek on my trek to Kilimanjaro both from the UK and in country in Tanzania. Nothing too much trouble. Loved the Tuesday tune in sessions and all that the company has to offer. Would not hesitate to use again.

I have been medically told not to hike due to a spinal injury and having to have a operation a spinal nerve block.
Told Evertreck with over a years notice that I can no long go on trip to Toubkal due next year November and gave them a letter from hospital.
To get told you do not get deposit back as it's non returnable.
So my advice do not use there payment system unless you can guarantee you will not be ill or have a Injury which might affect your travel.
They will take your money

Absolutely fantastic. So far I have done EBC and Machu Picchu with EverTrek and both treks were amazing and organised perfectly. The support from EverTrek was fantastic. They are extremely helpful and always happy to help. Definitely will use again.
