A pharmacy for autistic people
This is a review for the one in Saughall, Chester, UK. A pharmacy for autistic people. I'm autistic. I normally struggle with pharmacies. The bright lights, the noise, the queues, the silly pay pads that make you answer questions before you can pay.
I thought I'd got the wrong place when I walked in. None of the usual tat on display, no noise. It was like walking into a wellness centre. A nice lady served me and asked if I wanted to wait. None of the usual, 'it'll be an hour, come back', and that's assuming they even have the items in. I sat in complete silence listening to the birds outside, for 5 minutes at most. I tapped my card, no questions before I could. Bliss. I felt quite calm when I came out. I'm normally screaming by the time I get out of a pharmacy. Who knew such a place existed?
