Travel Clinic - Don't Bother!
Booked appointment for Travel Clinic Consulataion / Vaccination - turned up for my appointment, only to be told that "the man who does the travel clinic isn't in today". Was advised to try the pharmacy which was "only 5 minutes drive away" however I had walked to my appointment so driving there wasn't an option.
Rang the other pharmacy and was told to find out what vaccinations I needed (that was the whole reason for booking the travel consultation) and to ring back to see if they were in stock and if they weren't, they could be ordered in for me.
Didn't bother. Booked appointment with Boots instead who were brilliant.

Thank you for letting us know. I’m sorry you arrived for a booked travel clinic appointment only to be told the clinician wasn’t in. I understand how frustrating that was, especially after walking to the branch.
Being sent to another pharmacy you couldn’t get to, and then asked to work out your own vaccine requirements, wasn’t appropriate.
We’ll review this with the team to make sure appointments are covered properly and the service booked is delivered. I’m glad you were able to get the support you needed elsewhere, but I’m sorry your experience with us fell short.

The pharmacist who gave me my Covid jab was polite and friendly, he carried out the procedure quickly and totally without pain.

The staff was very accomodating and friendly. I went to get a BP monitor fitted. The staff explained what to expect and how the process worked. When I explained that I was going away for the weekend therefore would be unable to keep the monitor on for 24hrs, they were happy to reschedule the fitting for when I got back.

I didn’t have to wait. Rabia, the pharmacist I saw was really friendly and professional. She suggested I see an audiologist as my ears weren’t full of wax. All round great honest , professional service.

Went for flu & COVID vaccine
Went for flu & COVID vaccine. Had been booked in for a while.However, when I went , they did not have the COVID vaccine. Some oversight in ordering. Very disappointing & doesn't instill confidence.

Thank you for your feedback, and I’m really sorry for the inconvenience caused when you arrived for your COVID vaccination.
COVID vaccine stock is controlled nationally by the NHS team, and unlike flu stock, which we manage ourselves, we weren’t provided with sufficient COVID stock to cover all booked appointments. This has already been fed back so the issue can be reviewed for future allocations.
We do now have COVID vaccine stock available, and you’re very welcome to come in for your vaccination if you would still like to have it.
