Easyframe make quality frames to your spec, and have excellent customer support
Easyframe are a great company for several reasons.
Larger frames are hard to find on the high street and in any size you're unlikely to get just what you want, with the right mount etc. However professional framing can be really expensive, and might be best for those original pieces you really want to take no risks with. (If you know what you want though easyframe can likely provide it).
Easy frame make quality wooden frames to order, to exact specifications. There's a good range of frame finishes, mount colours, etc. The prices are excellent.
The reason they really stand out for me, is customer service. They are readily contactable, and actually solve your problem, without any delays.
You make your own order online, which allows you to upload your art and trial it with different frames and mounts. They can be easily contacted for help or adjustments.
Sometimes I've made wrong choices and they've been very helpful. They always get back within a brief window and they also answer their phone.
I recommend them!
I just want to add, that if this reads like a solicited review, it isn't!! I've never been asked to review. I've bought a number of frames here and having tried other methods I realised how good they are. Also customer service is a bugbear of mine. Its so rare nowadays that I want to let companies know its appreciated.

Custom vinyl problem, great customer service.
I recently ordered a custom vinyl frame from easy frames. It came and there was an issue with the frame not fitting my vinyl type. After getting in touch with the customer service team, specifically Nick who would like to say was brilliant, they advised due to a recent website update some of the information had unfortunately been removed from the frame description. Due to this Nick kindly said i would be due for a refund. I highly recommend easy frames not only due to the customer service but the frame itself looked to be of great quality and high standard material, which was even more of a shame that i couldn’t end up using it. Would hugely recommend and again thankyou to Nick for his fast and kind customer service.

Unfortunately, during a recent website update, some wording was accidentally removed from the product description. As soon as we became aware of it, I we updated the listing to make it clear that this particular frame isn’t suitable for gatefold vinyl, so hopefully it will save others from the same disappointment.
The good news is I’m already working on a solution that will allow us to offer a proper gatefold vinyl frame online. If I can make it work, I’ll be sure to get in touch.
In the meantime, any decent local picture framer should be able to frame your vinyl and do it justice.

Not so easy frame
Despite the name, EasyFrame is anything but easy to use.
I recently ordered two bespoke mounts to fit frames I had previously purchased from EasyFrame. I carefully followed the written instructions on the website, but unfortunately measured the inside of the frame rather than the backing board. As a result, the mounts (£35+) are slightly too small.
I fully accept that I made the measurement error. However, what disappointed me was the company's response when I contacted them for help.
Rather than acknowledging that the process may not be intuitive for everyone, I was repeatedly told that I had measured the wrong part and that the website is "very clear". I was also told I should have watched the instructional video.
The problem is that if customers need to watch a video to understand a process that the written instructions are supposed to explain, then the process is not as clear or accessible as the company believes. People have different learning styles and accessibility needs. Written guidance should be capable of standing on its own.
I repeatedly asked whether there was any way to make the mounts work, even if imperfectly, with the frames I already own. The response was merely that they were unusable and that I would need to order new ones. No practical suggestions were offered and no effort was made to help me find a workaround.
This wasn't my first experience of finding the website difficult to use. Previously, I attempted to use their multi-aperture mount designer and found the process extremely confusing. Again, I was directed to a video rather than being provided with clear guidance. The designer is also not fully mobile-friendly, which prevented me from using it effectively. Even after sending screenshots and asking specific questions about terminology, I received little meaningful assistance.
What concerns me most is that feedback about usability appears to be dismissed rather than considered. Multiple experiences have left me feeling that the website is designed for people who already understand framing terminology and processes, rather than for ordinary customers trying to order bespoke products.
I have spent hundreds of pounds with EasyFrame over the years and currently have £100+ worth of frames and mounts that do not work together. While I understand bespoke items cannot just be refunded because of a measurement error, I expected far better customer service and a willingness to help find a practical solution. To note, having to pay another £25 to them plus £7+ postage doesn't offer a "deal". I've paid £100s to this company for bespoke frames previously.
Unfortunately, based on both the usability of the website and the dismissive customer support I received, I cannot recommend EasyFrame.

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced when ordering the two picture mounts.
Our website includes clear guidance on the sizes required. For the external mount size, we advise entering measurements that exactly match the glazing or backing board of your existing frame. In your case, the frame requires an external mount size of 650 x 357 mm as your backing board measures 650 X 357mm. Unfortunately, you ordered the mounts in a smaller than advised, so they do not fit the frame.
I understand you’ve asked several times for suggestions on how to make the current mounts work. As picture framers, we would never recommend fitting undersized mounts into a frame, as this can lead to an insecure or unsatisfactory finish. Regrettably, there’s no practical way to adapt mounts that are too small, and I’m unable to suggest modifications that would make them fit properly.
I’m sorry my previous responses have left you disappointed. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to increase the size of the existing mounts and I have no suggestions on how to make them work(as they won't). The best solution is to order new mounts made to the correct specifications.
As a gesture of goodwill, I’m offered to supply two replacement mounts to your updated size for £25. This includes a substantial 48% discount on the product cost, plus our standard delivery charge. You do not appear to have accepted this offer.
Regarding the multi-aperture layout designer you encountered issues with — this is a brand-new, fully dynamic tool featuring drag-and-drop apertures, auto-alignment, precise gaps, and more. Because of its advanced functionality, it performs best on a desktop or tablet - this is made clear on your first visit. Mobile devices have limited screen space, which can make the experience quite difficult. We recommend using a larger screen for the best results.
