I was going to buy a basic fan from Duux but when I received an offer for the ultimate version for a good price I decided to go for that, I wish I hadn’t bothered. It’s supposed to be smart working from a smart phone but doesn’t connect no matter what you do, even the supplied remote control isn’t that good only works in direct line of sight and from only a couple of meters away. Disappointed and wish I had bought the cheaper manual version.

I bought a Duux Whisper Essence fan from Costco and I’m extremely disappointed with the quality.

Firstly, the connection between the parts was uneven, with noticeable gaps where the pieces should fit snugly. After assembling it properly, I noticed that the fan blades were constantly rubbing against the front cover, causing a loud and irritating noise during operation. I tested it by removing the front grille, and the noise immediately stopped—so it’s clearly a design or assembly flaw.

A fan with this many issues should not be priced at £60. Even cheaper £20 fans I’ve used before worked more smoothly. I will be returning this product to Costco for a refund.

Duux whisper, out of warranty but very low use i.e. 2 summers during hot spells. Rotates up and down and sideways but not the blades. My other £30 fan still going after 10 years. Lesson learnt.

Bought the duix fan for quietness and because can control by app.
The fan is reasonable quite, but by far means not the quietest I’ve owned.

It is not overly powerful, and full speed is average fan noise!

The app is awful as never works so don’t by of you want this feature to be reliable .ot does come with a remote bit that also is poor range coverage so you might as well have to manually change the speed/setting.

The controls on the bottom are not the easiest if your app isn’t working! Turn dial that seems to have a mind of its own!

Love this fan pleasing to the eye and so much softer than a normal fan . Great service thank you and loving the stone colour .

This is my second Duux fan, this is even quieter than my first one - the globe fan. On the low setting, I can hardly hear any noise from it, ideal for the bedroom.

The assembly was simple, even included the required tool in the base of the fan. I also like the integrated wiring, no unsightly exposed wiring that you get with cheap fans.

Whisper Flex Smart is amazing. Whisper by name and whisper by nature, I bought this as a bedroom fan for those hot nights and must say that it out performs every other fan that I have tried.
Obsoletely its best feature is its quietness, No more noisy fans keeping me awake.
It’s also more stylish and versatile. So easy to use, wished I hadn’t wasted money on cheaper noises fans.

Order the Quiet Whisper 2 after my cousin bought one and I love it. Very quick delivery, well packaged and easy to set up. The cooling breeze it creates is the best I’ve ever found in a fan, just so powerful and very quiet. Certain other very expensive blade less fans are just rubbish in comparison to this.

The product has the feature what I wanted.
It is a silent fan with multiple swing angle
But it arrived with a little black spot which looks like a bit damage of paint. In the white in color fan, it is a bit ugly.

Bought the Duxx Whisper pedestal fan last year for almost £100. Was pretty good and quiet as advertised. But it just fell over after a tiny nudge and has broken in multiple places rendering it useless. For that money I'd expect something a bit more robust

To add: replacement parts are expensive and there is a ripoff added delivery price

I bought the Whisper Flex Ultimate, but the fan isn't working. It's on but the blades don't rotate or rotate intermittently. It's connected to the app, but it has taken 2 days before the oscillation function worked but again the blades aren't rotating or if they do, it's intermittent. I have been trying to get hold of customer services all day. I've emailed 3 times with no response, contacted them on Whatsapp and have been fobbed off because I'm in the UK, I've been on hold to their customer services number for 4 hours. I just want a refund. I'm still on hold after several Whatsapp messages with little or no response, and several Facebook messages with no response whatsoever. I've sent video proof and still nothing. Worst experience ever. Do NOT buy.

Delivery was free and shipped out next working day, bought the fan on sale by chance. How have I not bought this before having rhe option of making the fan cordless is so handy and it truly is SO quiet. I have accidentally left it on a few times because I forgot and the cool air felt natural. Handy it has a timer and schedules you can customise. I had an issue with the remote on delivery and they have sent a replacement and dealt with it promptly.
Would recommend and will be buying more!

Wonderfully quiet fans, with lots of speed steps, so you can find a comfortable balance between cooling and noise levels.
That said, I can’t say I’m impressed with the so called ‘smart fan’ capabilities, as the app is less than fantastic during the initial setup, and occasionally drops connection even after you get it working.
Then even worse, the app requires you to setup an account to use anything other than basic controls…
If you don’t like poor apps that require mandatory accounts for anything but basic control, their smart fans are not the fans you want.
Given the limitations they impose, next time I'll either find another brand, or save myself some money and go with the non-smart variants.

Brought a whisper 2 as my dyson is too loud in the bedroom for me to sleep. It's brilliant. It's so quiet even my cats will sit in front of it. Quick delivery and easy to assemble. Nice colour in the grey. Excellent airflow and even on max speed it's easy to hear tv/conversations over

I rang the customer service team regarding an issue with my remote. The call was answered promptly and the issue resolved immediately. Highly recommend Duux for their products and their excellent customer care.

Tried several times to make telephone contact prior to ordering a fan. Was left waiting for over 45 minutes each time and each time I gave up. All I wanted to know was how many if any points I may have accrued to add to my purchase cost. I did manage to finally get through and was promised a call back within the hour about my points, but never received. I ordered the fan online but I still have no idea if I have any points left over from previous purchases
