I have 62V electric mower, chainsaw, trimmer, blower, and pole saw , I purchase 4 years ago . now battery and parts are not available. Also gas chipper shredder and leaf vacuum. The chipper is a pain to clean and the vacuum parts are not available. I been getting parts from other companies and not DR. Buyer beware if you want to hang on to your equipment for any length of time.

Product is great but when the pkg arrived the container that the product was in was badly torn and some of the pieces were trying to fall out. Better, more durable shipping container would be better

Customer service was great. Got my unit today, went together with no problems. Made short work of the small pile of branches I have been saving.

Overall, this is great little machine, only a couple hours of use, but it will do what I bought it to do. Starts easy, good power. The unit arrived in a box that obviously had been opened and (poorly) re-sealed. It also did NOT have a container of engine oil in the box. Fortunately I had some in the shop.

Brand new DR Pro 26 doesn't start, customer service tried to make me fix
I bought a brand new DR Pro 26, a few weeks back. I don't normally buy new equipment (as I am not a full-time farmer), but decided to give this a go.
So far, a month in, and out of the box it has yet to start.
Their idea of customer service was to make me go to the store for a new spark plug which I did. That didn't work so they said go to the store again and get a spark plug tester, to which I obliged. No spark, they believe it might be the solenoid.
But instead of just sending me the part they then ask me to go get an OHM meter....Normally I have all of this, however this is a new property and it's rural, so I am tool deficient at the moment. I told them no go send me the solenoid and if it isn't that we will surely know and you can have someone come out and do the work you are supposed to be doing...and continue asking me to do for you.
Finally they said we will send you the solenoid...all good now we are getting somewhere, right?...Nope, they continued by saying the solenoid (a pretty basic part) will be ready to ship to you in 2 weeks. So assume you won't receive it for at least 3 weeks.
Pretty terrible quality control here which can happen, I get it they make a lot of machines. But the supply chain and customer service handling is ridiculous. You wouldn't buy a new car get it home, realize the engine is blown and then try to pull it yourself in the driveway...some this is the logic DR is following here, unfortunately.
I want to be clear this also wasn't the customer service rep, she's been very polite, knowledgable and helpful...she was just following marching orders from the "corporates". And well I'm about to be $3k in the hole, with rapidly overgrowing land, and a brush mower that's only use is as a paper weight.
Edit after they had me running around looking for a "Solenoid" I figured out there is not a solenoid on the engine, only a magneto. Magneto is bad...but so is DR equipment.
I had a motor blow from the oil line…
I had a motor blow from the oil line being pulled off during operation. The unit was only about 8 months old. Ryan was able to find me a replacement motor and also got me assistance with the pricing not to mention expedited me getting it.

DR Pro 420 Wood chipper broken…
DR Pro 420 Wood chipper broken crankshaft. Bought a replacement wood chipper from the original owner. The first chipper they bought had a broken crankshaft. DR sent a replacement. The original owner used the replacement for just a few hours, then sold it to me. After two hours use the crankshaft broke. The original owner says DR knows about this problem but continues to sell the product anyway. They would not warranty because I was not the original owner.

The trimmer line constantly comes off and breaks. At this rate I will spend 400 dollars a year in trimmer line. Terrible design to attach trimmer line. For this reason, I might want to return your product.
