The item was delivered in a short period of time and on schedule. I had issues installing the belt but contacted customer service who walked me through it. I love this item...it is perfect for cutting the fields around our property.

The purchase process was fine but the after portion is what I am having difficulties with. The lack of a simple way to check on the status of my order is absurd to me. I have to call to check it. If you as a company can send me 10 advertisement emails after my purchase you should be able to send me an update on where my order stands or invest in a way for me to do it myself.
The customer service by this company is atrocious.
The customer service by this company is absolutely atrocious. They shipped us a DR grader that looked like it had been dropped off a forklift a dozen times...all 4 corners on the bottom were bent so bad the powder coat had broken off. They refused to replace the item and only offered to ship us new end plates that we would have to disassemble the unit and reassemble it ourselves. They claimed it was the shipper that damaged it but honestly I dont care who did the damage. It showed up unusable and I dont want to rebuild their brand new $1100 product for free. This customer service experience is one of the worst ive ever encountered. I will be purchasing from their Chinese counterpart in the future.
Very Unprofessional Company
I don't normally write reviews. but this is the exception. Ordered trimmer / mower and took more than a month to arrive. Two calls, three excuses.
After finally arriving, in the box (with the mower) is an assortment of colored markers and an eraser. Hardware to fasten wheels was missing. Had to buy my own hardware at Lowes. DR used to be an awesome company. Being bought out by Generac has apparently been a huge downfall for the customer. What is the matter with these people?

Incredibly frustrating experience
I am trying to purchase a walk behind string trimmer. The website says that it will ship between 1 and 3 business days. I have been trying since 7/18/25 to get it shipped, and I keep receiving excuses about the warehouse moving. Every time I contact customer service, I am told there are delays and it will be shipping within 5 business days.

Parts order placed early August and now it's September and nothing. You have to call for order status and it takes 20 min. for someone to answer. "They are moving warehouses and are backed up." This has been going on for a MONTH. did they not plan for a transition? This is summer, when the DR Power work gets done for most of us. It's 2025 and you don't have an online order status? Ridiculous. I wish I had Matt Bieber's direct number!
Horrible Company and Products
I purchased a DR push trimmer and it has had intermittent stalling issues ever since new. Come to find out, it was disassembled improperly at the factory and a gasket shifted out of place and was pinched, causing a leak at the carburetor. I did not bother to file a warranty claim and just ordered the replacement gasket from DR’s website. This was about a month ago and I still have not received it. I spoke with a service representative 2 weeks ago and was told that my order was going to be upgraded to expedited shipping and it would be shipped out on 8/21. As of yesterday, it still has not shipped out and when I called the company again, they told me that the new shipping date is 9/9. Are you kidding me? The customer service of this company is absolutely terrible. Judging my the countless other recent 1 star reviews on Google and everywhere else, it is apparent that DR Power Equipment is going downhill. I really don’t know how this company is still in business.

Long Wait for Order
Placed order Aug. 7. I was told by customer service, the order would be out between five and eight business days. New update, it won't be shipped until September seventeenth. This company should quit lying to their customers and just tell them the truth.
Lack of responce
I hate to write a negative review but they deserve it. Terrible customer service. I been calling since Monday morning its now Thursday without any luck. Phone rings as long as you let it with no answer and no voicemail.Numerous emails with one responce with suggestion to a link that did not offer any help. I just need a shift cable and cannot use machine in the meantime. No way to contact anyone that would respond. unbelievable

The worst customer service ever
The worst customer service ever. Ordered string a week ago. No shipping information received. Called customer service on hold forever. Called back and pressed number to buy something new and of course got right through, answered immediately. For some reason they couldn't tell me the status of my order. Was transferred back to the other line and been on hold listening to terrible music now for 20 minutes. Will never buy from DR Mower again.

Ordered a Premier Trimmer Mower August 13 ( on-line) received no updates on delivery except a number to call (888-545-6557) to “ check the status of your order” tried that number August 19, was put on hold. Finally gave up and tried the number the next day, each time with a progressively longer wait. Tried calling the sales line ( I knew someone would answer that!) and got a real live person immediately! This individual asked for my order number and was able to look up my purchase….apparently September 15 was the ship date… about a month after order. That would have been handy info to have when I placed my order initially, that way I wouldn’t have wasted my time, DR could also have sent me some communication explaining they were having some kind of warehouse
issues and my order was a month out from receiving…. Apparently nobody thought to do that. I decided to go ahead and cancel my order but you have to go through Customer Service to do that…that’s right, back to the same holding pattern. I decided to read the paper while I waited…. 32 minutes later… I got a ( very apologetic) live person and was able to cancel my order. I see DR did charge my account 12.95$ for, I believe shipping, even though they didn’t send anything. I guessing I would have to call back the afore mentioned Customer Service line to get that amount refunded…..
EPIC FAIL DR!!! Looks like shopping locally is the best way to go.
Unimaginable wait time for CS
1 1/2 hours on hold to speak with Customer service.
Now it's been several weeks and my order for parts still have not shipped.
I'm about to cancel my orders, but that will be another several hours on hold waiting to speak with someone.
Terrible.... DR/Generac should be ashamed of the team and representation of the brand!!!
Poor communication
Was supposed to have delivery on Aug 21. Was told driver would call 24 hrs ahead of time. Called this morning. They do not have my item in stock. Could be in stock this week Could be 2nd week of September. I am currently shopping Kunz. My brother in law had his delivered in 3 days. Will most likely cancel.

I own a string mower
I own a string mower. The problems I have had:
- the bump protector, which protects the spindle is made of cheap plastic and breaks easily,
- The PTO cable jammed then snapped.
I have been trying to get a replacement cable for over a month! It was very frustrating to talk to someone at the company. I ordered a cable and still haven’t received it. Calling the company about it was very frustrating because they don’t answer their phone; they just put you on terminal hold. Recently, they sent me an email saying they were sorry for the delay but that they had moved warehouses. This company’s customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. I recommend buying from a reputable company!

I’m a verified customer I purchased New a DR chipper 4 inch. It would not start. Plain and simple. Just called DR was on hold the first time for 45 minutes, called back second time was 35 minutes before somebody picked up the line. They told me that they could have somebody pick it up and look at it, but there were no refunds. So if you’re thinking about buying these pieces of equipment, think twice, it’s a poorly engineered piece of equipment. And their customer service is very ineffective. Very disappointed., So if you’re thinking about purchasing something from DR, I would suggest you think twice.
Still hasn't shipped a month after ordering.
Would love to give a review on the actual product I purchased, except I haven't received it yet--nor has it been shipped--as of 8/19. Ordered it on 7/22 and every customer service person I've tried to get answers from indicates it will ship in 1 -2 or 4 days--along with their "sincere apologies."
