Ordered a part in August
Ordered a part in August - it is now late October. Telephone service is horrible. Their follow through is non existent. They have never explained the delay. Meanwhile, my existing DR equipment is idle because of a cheap $24 part. Never again.
DR is not shipping anything out, why!
I ordered some parts to repair one of my DR trimmers. I waited two months but my parts never were delivered. I cancelled my order hoping that generac would get the message, they didn't! I reordered my original parts and some other needed parts and they are doing it again! It doesn't take four months to relocate to another distribution center, the customer service employees are not telling us the truth!
No word on parts shipment
Ordered a part (spindle bearing housing) for my DR Power string mower a week ago. No word on when the part will ship, just emails regarding a new warehouse is impacting shipments. Other sites are stating the housing is discontinued. Not thrilled that the bearing failed after a couple years, and that the bearing (and not with the entire houseing) can't just be replaced.
Poor quality will not fill orders in three months
Poor quality, ordered parts 3 months ago, still has not filled my order, but they cashed my check for everything . They have every two to three weeks sent an item like a bolt, or washer. If I ever get my full order, I will never do business with them again. Very poor management, call them weekly, don’t know if they can ever fill my order.

Ordered parts trusting DR would ship in a timely manner as promised. 3-5 days I was told. It’s been over two weeks! Was told by customer service it would ship very soon over a week and a half ago. Still nothing. Nowhere on the website state shipping is delayed UNTIL the order is made. Totall BS!

Piss poor company
Piss poor company. I purchased 2 battery powered chainsaws after using my Mother's. Within a year of my purchase, I was unable to purchase replacement batteries for my chainsaws. I contacted the company numerous times over the course of 1 year, to determine when replacement batteries would be available again, only to be told that they were having manufacturing issues (for a full year!!!?). In early 2025, I received a letter documenting a recall of the battery powered chainsaws my Mother and I had purchased. I submitted the required 'proof of destruction' documentation and serial numbers for the chainsaws submitted for recall, and inquired as to whether or not we would also be compensated for the chargers and batteries purchased for the chainsaws... answer was 'no'. Two months after submitting 'proof of destruction' documentation for the chainsaws, we received a check for significantly less than our overall purchases of chainsaws, chargers, and batteries. Poor customer service, poor product, poor company response to customer complaints. Piss poor. Buy Ryobi.
Too long for service
We brought our trimmer mower to be serviced on July 17, 2025. It is now October 3, 2025 and the part that was needed to repair the mower has still not arrived. I called customer service and was on the phone for 1 hour before speaking with someone. I was told that the company had moved its warehouse and many parts have been displaced since. They stated that it may be 3 more weeks before the part that we needed would be sent. We have had to pay a landscape company to trim for us. We NEVER expected that our trimmer would be unaccessible during these prime months when it is most needed. VERY disappointed in this company's attention when a customer has been waiting an unreasonable amount of time for repair/parts.

Worst company ever
Worst company ever! Brand new DRXL30 does not start! Still over 1 month with no help from DR. The thing had never started. Got an email confirming they are sending a new battery but its been over 3 weeks with no tracking or update. $3700 later….this company is looking for a lawsuit i think. Do not buy! They lie, customers are always wrong with this company!

Ordered a new Walk behind trimmer on 9/6/25, on 9/9/25 they send me a generic "We are moving warehouse's and are experiencing shipping delays" giving me an anticipated ship date of 9/16 did not ship on this day. Then on 9/18 I get another generic email with a new anticipated ship date of 9/30/25. The word anticipated being that this item may take over 1 month. Why don't they be honest and say items are backlogged when you are purchasing them instead of the website say "items will ship 3-6 days after order is processed. Looks like im going elsewhere for my trimmer needs.
Part Service is Non-Existent
I needed $85 worth of parts for my XL Stump Grinder (which broke again). I am over 30 days waiting for these parts. They did: however; take my money very quickly. I emailed and called numerous times, 5 to be exact and always got an apology and runaround. All I want is my parts or refund. Don’t get me started on the stump grinder itself. More down time than work time.
No customer service
No customer service. Have ordered parts and was told it would arrive in 3-5 days. Three weeks later no parts. Wrote them (you cannot reach them by phone...waited for 30 minutes on two occassions and no response) and they said part would go out in 3-5 days. That was two weeks ago. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! HAVE BOUGHT TWO TRIMMERS FROM THEM BUT NOT AGAIN AS YOU CANT GET PARTS OR SERVICE FROM THEM.
Come pick up all of your equipment
I ordered a simple battery over a month ago. I currently own three of your pieces of equipment. Sadly, none of them were working. None due to a fault of my own. I have had zero communications other than you to tell me that my battery has been delayed and I should expect it by September 5 at the latest. It is a week past that and I still do not have a battery nor do I have any communication from DR whatsoever. I’m sure there are competitors out there and I will be searching for them adamantly in the future.
