What an absolute cowboy of a company.
Paid for mobile DPF clean at £359 with 120 day warranty. 3 days after the clean the DPF light re-appeared on the dashboard. Contacted them to be told it could be a faulty EGR valve and suggested getting that checked out, and if the EGR valve was ok they would come out under the warranty and perform another clean. Had the EGR valve cleaned and checked out by my local garage who told me the pipe leading to the EGR valve was still full of carbon and also the EGR cooler still all sooted up with carbon. Upon notifying this to this bunch of cowboys I'm now informed the extended warranty does not cover the EGR parts or clean, but they could do this at an extra cost at their workshop in Kent. AVOID AT ALL COST.

Excellent service worth every penny

Easy to book. Good communication. On time. Craig was very Informative and explained the work required and had extra parts needed. He happily talked it all through and gave some useful information and helpful Maintenace tips to improve performance longer term.

Had problems from the start. Had a phone call in the morning to rearrange our time slot which then still didn’t arrive in this time and ended up chasing up again. Was told at this time he was having issues with his equipment all day so will come but may not be able to carry out what was booked. This was late afternoon at this point after waiting all day. He arrived tried to diagnose the car but was unable so said I’d need to rebook for another day but would be days later as he had other jobs booked in. 20 minutes later looked at the car again and said it was a different issue. Received a quote through the next day but continued to chase for a diagnostic report to be sent which took about 3 days!!
We have since took the car to another garage to get the reported faults sorted however they had deleted the faults on looking at the car so when they tried to look at the faults the garage were unable to diagnose. After them driving the car we were told that it wouldn’t be what we were previously told to be repaired and it was a different issue.
We were quoted over £800 to replace a faulty throttle body and dpf sensor after already paying £150 booking for a diagnosis and dpf clean booking fee which wasn’t needed.
The garage we have taken it to after this have told us that isn’t the case and that the throttle body is blocked and there is an issue with the ad blue crystallising. Which is absolutely shocking how we have been told we’d need two parts replacing spending nearly £1000 with this company and it was far from the case.
Tried to put in a complaint in the first instance as obviously he was unable to run a full diagnostics on the car which is what we had paid for and was dismissed with this as we were told that they’ve found the fault. However we weren’t happy as we had paid for a comprehensive full system diagnostics and an in depth technical report which we were not satisfied we had received.

Craig got to my house on time and was very professional and polite he fixed my van and was very helpful would definitely use this company again if needed and would recommend them to anyone else

This is the third time I've used DPF Specialist, this time I had a different engineer. But both engineers were friendly and helpful. He cleaned the DPF and got my van back out of limp mode.

Extremely professional and knowledgeable Technicians explained all my options and outcomes to make informed decisions. Second time using this company and well recommended

First of all, the bad.
Booked on-line for a Thursday morning. Had no confirmation email or any communication from them regarding the appointment. When Thusday came I called them to see when the engineer would be arriving. Was told it was going to be in the afternoon and that I would get a text saying when he would be arriving. At 3pm I rang them again still chasing them as still no communication from them. The engineer eventually arrived at 4pm. The communication from DPF specialist was non existant and I had to keep chasing them.

Now the good.
Ross was brilliant, very thorough and knew his stuff. He kept me informed of everything that he was doing and what to expect. He managed to fix my van and get me back up and running.
This would have been a 5 star review if the office staff had any form of communication.

Craig came down today and serviced the Car with a full service and done a DPF clean and gave me thorough detailed advice about the car which was helpful was very fast and prompt would highly recommend!

The guys turned up at the time they said they would. Very pleasant and completed the work in about an hour. The car is running as it was before the red dpf alarm appeared, which put it into limp mode, and all alarms cleared. They left an OBDll diagnostic interface and 500ml can of Klen diesel cleaner. No mess whatsoever.
Obviously, I will follow the technicians advice, re: a long run every week or so, and just hope the fault doesn't return.

Shambles of a company . Booked a slot with them for Friday between 1pm and 4pm . Got a call the following day to ask if i wanted to make a booking, I had to inform them I already had one! On Thursday got a text to say they’d be out on Friday between 8am-10am . At 10am Friday Got a call from them to ask if I’d met my engineer ? They then said he’d been to my property - he hadn’t - when I told them this they told me he couldn’t make it due to a panic attack and I’d have to reschedule .

Declan, was professional, friendly and thorough. It’s like having a new car.

We booked DPF specialist after being told by an independent inspector our DPF was blocked due to our ‘driving style’. As the vehicle was in limp mode we were prepared to pay for the premium service to get our car back on the road again.
Harvey came out to us on a Saturday morning, he was prompt and on time as he had called the previous night to confirm what time he was going to be at our property.
As soon as he ran a diagnostic on our car he found that there was more going on with the car than we had realised. He didn’t clean our DPF as he said that due to the underlying issues with the car it wasn’t going to solve this issue we had, so deemed it unfair to charge us for a service that wouldnt work. Fair enough.
He gave us a thorough and detailed report to explain his findings. Thanks to Harvey we were able to reject our vehicle due to previous failed repairs saving us thousands in repair costs that were not our fault. We paid 150 call out fee which in my opinion was the best money we have spent. Big thanks to DPF Specialist.

Just had my car inspected for a suspected full dpf, after doing a diagnostic on my car Graig told me all was ok, just needed a regen and a reset, great service and no unnecessary work was carried out
