These agents are scammers who claim to be British Gas. They act like they are putting you on a better fixed tariff. When in actual fact they are switching you over to their own supplier.!!!!! Don’t be fooled by them…!!!

Absolute scammers
Absolute scammers! Asked in the street if I wanted to be entered into a draw for the area for the opportunity to save money on my energy bills. I never agreed to change supplier or anything. Before I know it, they have signed me up to British Gas without my consent and without me replying to any of their emails to confirm I wanted to switch. Nightmare to cancel the switch as my name isn’t on the existing supply. AVOID!

Spoke to Gary at customer service. ( Stockport) He was extremely helpful and polite. He explained things very clearly. I wasn't so sure about when I had a knock on my door regarding switching energy company. I got really anxious. My support worker spoke to Gary to confirm whether it was a scam or not.
