I ordered three items - stuffed pasta, olive oil and a jar of pitted olives.
I paid for the merchandise and the shipping. The order arrived relatively quickly from Italy. The pasta was protected. Oil was great.
BUT, in the mail I got a bill from FedEx for the shipping. So be careful and keep all your documentation. You may a get bill for freight!

This was my first experience with Dolceterra. The experience far exceeded my expectations. Their site has lots of great products and brands that are hard to find in America. I used their chat function and asked for a product and brand they do not even carry. Quickly, I received an email from an associate that said "yes, we can get that for you." I had previously asked the same question of five other vendors. The price was fair. My items arrived quickly, even with sitting in customs for a few days. My purchases were well packaged and in good shape when they arrived. The payment method was simple and efficient. Their catalogue is colorful and extensive. Their customer service is the best I have encountered in a long time. I will shop there again and again. Why? Because they have proven to me that they care about my business.

I ordered some Limoncello.
Took a while but once received it was awesome.

I ordered some limoncello as a gift for a friend. The whole process was flawless from ordering to delivery. I received frequent updates and the order was delivered on time and in good shape.
I was very pleased with this on line company!

Beware when buying from this dishonest organization. They will give you a price for the products ordered and send you a confirmation showing the same pricing. All good, so far. However, they will send you a bill later for the cost of the tariffs that they never mentioned at any time in the order process. A $64 order suddenly becomes $82. This lousy outfit either doesn't know their business or they are dishonest about the cost of doing business with them.

They state on their website that all tariffs and duty charges are included in the price. That is not true. I had to pay additional tariffs almost 2 weeks after receiving my package.

I placed two separate orders, one for sweets and one for Limoncello in painted jars. The desserts arrived without issue. The second order was charged to my credit card, but I never received confirmation of shipment. Sent four emails and never received a response. I had to contact my credit card company and stop payment. This issue remains open.
Update to my review:
I finally received my purchased items on the 3rd of January. Everything was intact. My comment to the company is, if you want to be viewed as an extraordinary, customer- friendly purveyor, start with outstanding customer support, and don't over commit beyond your capabilities.

I recently ordered fresh pasta. When I finally received it 2 weeks later, it was meticulously packed with Styrofoam, and cooling gels-best packing job I ever seen. However, the fresh pasta had a best used before date of March 10 ,2025 and July 10,2025 respectively. What's the point of advertising fresh pasta and then delivering expired goods. I would never order anything else.

I visited Italy over the summer and became obsessed with the food. I wanted to experience that joy again and searched for some authentic Italian food directly from Italy. I wanted the real deal made exactly the way it was in Italy. I found it. I ordered some for me and some for gifts. Everyone loves them. I ordered everything from alcohol to cheese. This site is the real deal. You can ever pick the region of Italy it comes from. You have so many choices.

I was excited when the package arrived with the beautiful hand painted bottle; however, some of the limoncello had leaked out. After numerous emails this has yet to be taken care of. I love the product but am unable to present the gift to someone as it was intended.

Great customer service and the Limoncello Italy Boot gift was a huge hit as an Easter gift.

My order took around 2 weeks because it was around New Years & hello, it's Italy.....
I ordered 2 bottles of Lemoncello & they came wrapped very well and arrived intact & are delicious.
Be patient with them as they live a relaxed lifestyle unlike us in the USA constantly high strung people! Lol
I gave a 4 star as there is ALWAYS room for improvement for everyone

I sent a dozen emails asking why my order hasn't been shipped. I get no response. There is NO customer service. I'm going to have to cancel my payment. Two weeks is too long to wait for my order to ship. No answer after 12 emails is proof they don't care to fix this problem.

Do not purchase anything from this company. Very shady. I made a purchase last month and received different products and they were not very good. Customer services is horrible and took multiple emails at which point I just unsubscribed and blocked further emails from the company. I did notice today that my negative review was deleted from their website. They only post 100% positive reviews.

Excellent products, I am sure. It is just that I bought salame and formaggio amongst others. I paid 12 Euros for FedEx- Express delivery. The perishable goods were protected well by icepacks for a two-day journey. Unfortunately the delivery took almost ten days. At least the cheese is not salvageable, all its fat has leaked out into the packaging.
Now the real trouble is: the email address given on the shop website does not exist and nobody from customer service answers in the given chat link. In other words: ruined products and the seller is incommunicado.

I used to live in a city where I could easily purchase Italian food. Now I live in a rural area in a state where there are not many Italian markets. I have been delighted with the cheeses, mortadella, Sicilian lemon marmalade, delicious lemon cookies, peppers in oil, eggplant, pastas. I can shop in my home and yes you pay a little more to ship but they do ship about 4 business days from my date of order. The order is packaged well and my guests have truly enjoyed the treasures! I have another order placed and hopefully shipping soon!! Grazie - Dolceterra!
