Ordered, not shipped, poor service - refund only after complaint
I ordered a cosplay from DokiDoki. Their website clearly says: EU shipping:Processing time 2-3 days+ transportation time 2-7 Days". 2 weeks have passed and they didn't ship it, so I sent an email. Instead of giving me an update, they accused me of things like “malicious refund” (which I never requested!) and cancelled my order. They refunded me only after I requested a tracking number.
Sadly, this is not the first time I’ve had an awful experience with this store. I had problems before where they failed to ship items or handled issues poorly (I waited MONTHS).
I ordered in good faith and just wanted the gift I paid for. I would not recommend them, especially if you need your order by a certain date.
Company steals money
I ordered my girlfriend a cosplay back on March 28th here it is now June 14th and still no response. Any attempts to contact are ignored. This company literally just took my money.

If I could give zero stars I would. Order placed on March 13, 2025 has not been received as of May 31, 2025. Tried to cancel order but the company refused to cancel and refund. Don't waste your time or money. This company sucks and is just a foreign cash cow.

erstmal das wichtigste: das ist ein reseller, die machen nichts selber. auf tabao gibts das billiger wer da durchblickt.
die qualität der sr ist meistens gut, achtet auf die produktbilder. erfahrungsgemäß siehts schon so aus wie auf den produktbildern
bisschen glücksspiel ob die bestellung pünktlich geliefert wird. da die nur resellen kann es sein das ein cosplay gar nicht mehr existiert wenn mans bestellt. bloß nicht auf die lieferzeit im presale verlassen die stimmt eig nie. kann auch mal 5 monate länger dauern. falls ein produkt gar nicht oder sehr verzögert geliefert werden würde kann man kostenlos die bestellung stonieren und bekommt das ganze geld unkompliziert wieder.
Fazit: gute kostüme wenn man zeit hat zu warten/ geduldig ist. lieber nur mit paypal bezahlen falls mal was unvollständig oder kaputt ankommt, auf den kundenservice würde ich mich nicht verlassen

Angebliche Produktionszeit 3 Wochen. Ohne darüber informiert zu werden waren es auf einmal 13 Wochen. Erst würde ich vertröstet mit ausreden dann würde so getan als wäre von Anfang an so eine Bearbeitungszeit angegeben wurden.

Absolutely horrid. I received a subpar excuse for a Genshin costume. Sadly I had bought two at the same time, a Honkai Star Rail one too, because I didn't want to pay an extra 100$ in shipping, expecting that they would be good quality based on their videos, photos and reviews. I'm not convinced DokiDoki's photos are even theirs. I left a deserved, bad review on a costume and only then did they offer their "after-sale service" - this excuse for a 'service' is basically telling the customer to go F themselves. They waited until the return window was up - literally a few days after I could've returned it - to return my email, and said they couldn't accept the return. When I chewed them out for conveniently waiting to even respond to my review, they said they would accept the return, then completely ghosted. I tried to reach out after and it's been absolute crickets. The extra costume is to this day, literally still in the bag, sealed. I have every piece of the other costume and it, too, is in the same bag it arrived in. Two unworn costumes that I can't do a single thing with. Over three-hundred US dollars, not including the one-hundred dollar shipping that we all know is an absolute scam. I've never seen such a racket over cosplay.

J'ai commandé un cosplay de Stelle de Honkai star rail et une peluche de Dan Heng. Qualité incroyable ! Cosplay agréable à porter matière confortable et douce avec même des pièces de métal. Cependant je retire une étoile pour plusieurs raisons : tout d'abord l'attente, en effet les articles sont expédiés séparément et j'ai du attendre 3 mois pour avoir la peluche de Dan Heng. Aussi attention au site il est un peu mal fait, lisez bien les prix les descriptions et surtout si il l'article est prêt à être expedié ou non (ça peut être trompeur). A chaque fois que j'ai envoyé des mails ils ont répondu dans les 48 heures, même si parfois j'aimerai qu'ils expliquent plus précisément pourquoi y a des retards. Donc en global expérience plutôt bonne 😊
Wrong address delivery
Package was delivered to the wrong address and they only offered a 20% discount to reorder the same product. Also, took weeks to respond when I inquired about the missing delivery.

Had minor issues with them before, but usually just a small missing accessory or a missing button. This time I payed for my most expensive cosplay yet that was made to order. After 3 months of nothing I emailed them and got the answer that it was out of stock and there is nothing they can do. They didn't reach out about it, just planned to keep the money and say nothing and never made the thing I ordered. I am genuinely disappointed since their customer service has been great before

I've bought so many cosplays from them and never had an issue until this year, I've purchase a cosplay in Jan that was "ready for ship" I paid express shipping hoping to get it for Feb for katsu, anyhow a week goes by no updates y msg them and they state they "shipped it" I was given a fake tracking number and left at that. weeks go by.. nothing. I reached out multiple times for a Refund was refused 3 times and keep been told lies that it was "shipped" 3 months later past the date I needed it for later filed a claim with the bank and got my money back. Never had a issue till now not sure if I would buy again from them after this. truly.
Very good customer service
Very good customer service. One item from my order was sold out and they contacted me about it and when I cancelled my order regarding that item, this was processed fast and my refund is already on way. Delivery (of other items) was efficient and we received what we ordered.
Bad smell and can't return
Wasted $66 here. I had really high hopes, the photos looked great and the reviews were all positive. So when I saw that my package arrived early I was excited until I opened it. I was hit with a terrible smell and the latex/leather felt sticky. The sizing was completely different than the website. And to return the items it'd cost more money to send it back. The customer service sends you to an email to get the shipping address for returns but when I contacted the email I keep getting the run around and still no exact shipping address. I was just told to send it back china, you dont get what you paid in shipping back, and it'll cost more money to send it back.
I like it
The quality of the cosplay was awesome and the shipping only took about two weeks. The rubber bands are a little tight but nothing that I can’t fix and adjust myself. The cosplay is beautiful and I would definitely buy from dokidoki again.

Purchased SSR Mona off their amazon for $160 because they said their FINAL SALE was on their website, and they were out of stock forever. They claimed they would never restock Mona in Medium, and they’d did. For half the price. Fine. However. When I received my cosplay, I didn’t try it on. Until now. The hat clasp is broken. Multiple pieces are completely unstitched. The pantyhose is pilling. The quality is just not there for such an expensive cosplay. I want a refund or some compensation but I don’t even know where to start.

Vorsicht. Versenden beschädigte Ware (Loch in cosplay) und wollen dann keinen Kundenservice anbieten. Erst nach Einschalten von Paypal bieten sie 8$ Erstattung an, was bei einem Kaufpreis von 174€ eine Frechheit ist. Nie wieder bestelle ich da wieder was. Nie wieder.
