What a sham
What a sham! There is no way to cancel your service online. I was on the phone for 25 minutes before I got to talk to someone, then I was put on hold as he "wrote the documents", then handed off to the Cancellation Department, which I have now been on hold for another 30 minutes and counting.
Terrible
Terrible! They’re inefficient. Put call centre employees who are knowledgeable. They do not know the ins and outs.

I would give no stars if possible, such is my loathing for Dodo. Do NOT take out a Dodo product, whether phone or internet. They took over a week to send me the new modem, which didn't work. When I phoned them, they told me there was a "connection issue" but that it would be resolved within 48 hours. I hear nothing. I call again. This time I'm told they need the identifying digits on the modem, which I provide. Again, I'm told it would be fixed within 48 hours. Nothing happens. So, I called them and cancelled. After explaining the Australian Consumer Law to them, their breach of contract, and my willingness to make a complaint to the Telecommunications Ombudsman if they did not resolve this satisfactorily and as I wished, I received a full refund. Note if you try this, you do have to press them - they will tell you are still liable for the modem (which you cannot post back). That is false. You do not have to pay for something that does not work and is in breach of the ACL. I hope this helps anyone who has made the mistake of signing with Dodo. To the rest of you who are contemplating Dodo, don't waste your time - go with Aussie Broadband (who I just signed up with) -seamless, perfect service.
Worse customer service ever
Worse customer service ever. I applied for the connection from 25th August and the network was activated at 9:30 pm and they charged the bill for that day. To make it clear your system should provide me with the connection from 12am on 25th August.
When I raise the complaint nobody cares to respond.

worse customer service I have ever experienced out of any company in my life without exaggerating. it is like they don't understand English. made me lose $80, transferred my dads number not mine, messed up my plan and over charged me and then refused to cancel it and now I have to dispute it at my bank. do not go with dodo
Dodo commits fraud
Dodo and there stuff haven’t got a brain to save themselves. They condone and protect criminals when the crime is done they then protect there backside and not do what is legal. DODO are criminals themselves as are their stuff

Terrible customer service.
Dodo arranged for our meter to be replaced (we didn't ask for this - the meter we had was a 4yr old smart meter and was working just fine). Since replacement none of our solar has been available to us nor is excess being exported to the grid. So we now have to buy all our electricity from the grid. We alerted them to a defective meter installation two months back and despite hours on the phone and emailing they've done nothing to resolve it.

Yes they are cheap but customer service is woeful. Everytime we have an issue, they actually create greater issues rather than solving the initial issue. The customer service team seem to find it hard to understand your queries. Everything is hard with these Dodo. I totally regret signing up to them

I would rate it 0 if I could. I have had ongoing issues with Dodo for over a year. I went to the Ombudsman they went against what was decided.
Customer Service is disgusting I have contacted them numerous times and being advised my case manager would call back and then no one does.
Don’t trust the intro offer
The service itself was fine but no different to any other provider and still had outages/slow periods. However, they implemented a price increase within weeks of our service starting. When I contacted them to question this given there were other providers offering much lower prices (and they themselves were still offering new customers lower prices) they said they couldn’t help. Wasted almost an hour trying to get someone to speak to and got absolutely no assistance or explanation. I suspect their intro offer is a scam where they offer one price to get you to sign up and then immediately change that price. Would not recommend.

I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service I received from Optus. The representative I spoke to over the phone was arrogant and rude, which made the experience frustrating and unpleasant. What's worse, there seems to be no proper complaint mechanism in place to report or escalate issues regarding staff behaviour. I felt dismissed and unsupported throughout the call, and it was clear they had no intention of actually helping.
My internet has been down for 1 month…
My internet has been down for 1 month and I’ve paid $180 in hotspot data. I can’t work from home. My work capacity has reduced. They keep blaming a local NBN outage but no one else in the local area with NBN has their internet down for 1 month - it’s clearly dodo. Please stay away from this company I highly advise against using their services. Now they are trying to bill me for no Internet.
Don’t do it to yourself. They have 1 stars for a reason.
Dodo is great! (mobile plan experience)
I really like Dodo, I use them for my mobile plan. In my experience their customer service has been great. I'm never on hold for more than 15 or 20 minutes (personally i think that is a very short wait time). Their service representatives are always kind and softly spoken, they are very thorough in making sure they achieve all your needs and requests.
The only issue I have experienced is a problem with my SIM card's connection particularly with overseas calls, but I am currently getting that sorted with them. I was advised that the problem occurred due to my SIM card being too old, as I have had the same one for a few years now. So really, no complaints!
I think Dodo is perfect for younger people looking for cheaper mobile plan options. After looking at the current market of mobile plans, I'm very happy with how little I pay, and still never run out of data or international call credit (which I use a lot of).
The reason why the Dodo went extinct
I was originally with Dodo with my internet and mobile for a very long time and ended up getting power and gas bundled also. The internet experience became ridiculous with slow speeds and drop-outs so I jumped ship for greener pastures.
How much longer I have Dodo power and gas just became relevant since I received a letter today telling me that Dodo is reducing my solar feed-in tariff from the pitiful 3.3c/kWh I was getting down to 0.04c/kWh. They are now STEALING my generated power to resell at about 750x what they are paying me for my own power. That's BS! I never signed up to give away my generated solar for free to greedy companies.
Stay away from Dodo - there are better options and I will be choosing one very shortly. Even if you call to speak to someone at Dodo, good luck understanding what the hell they are saying. Overseas call centres are the worst.
Trying to cancel my service and I CANT!!!
Trying to cancel my service (no contract) has taken over a week now and they continue to bill me. I cannot do it from the portal and when I called, the person that answered was unable to cancel my account. I have now been on hold for 20 minutes and have a chat open for even longer - AND I CANNOT CANCEL MY SERVICE. Do not use dodo - service is terrible and I cannot stress enough, that if you cannot cancel a service with one-click, you don't want that service.

Dodo dodo
I was with Dodo for a few years, they don't send invoices at all, I never received an invoice. They regularly put up prices, after notification of yet another price rise I decided to move to another more competitive provider. They took payment for 30 days, 10 days into that cycle my internet was changed to the new provider and told me they do not give credits for the 20 days of which I am no longer with Dodo and do not have their services. Wish I had read these reviews before joining them or cancelling so I could have times cancelation with my billing cycle.
