Scammers
Scammers. Taking advantage of vulnerable people. Insisted they needed to drill a lock, when it could have easily been picked. Outrageous charge.

Scammers as everyone else says.
Cost £570 to drill and replace lock.
Costs kept going up. Not what was advertised.
Lock they fitted was cheap and broke, then got charged another £50 to drill the lock out again as they blamed us for the lock breaking.
I am reporting to trading standards.
AVOID I wish I had seen these reviews before using them.
I was charged £750 for a job that should have cost £75. Now, I am taking the company to court because they have refused to refund me. I have also reported them to Trading Standards and the MP of Ealing, who will be initiating an investigation.
Here is their detail. This person scams under several company names and websites such as DR Locksmith, 24H LockSmith, Doctor Locksmith , ....

I’ve had a terrible experience with Dr. Locksmith, similar to other reviews below.
The locksmith arrived promptly (the only positive) and indicated that he cannot open any of the three available doors without drilling. Before starting, he said it would be £180 to drill the door. I was shocked but agreed. Naively, I thought, given the high cost, that this is the fee for everything. Ten minutes later, the door was opened.
At that point he said it would be £225 for replacing the lock. Not total; Extra!!! And all of this before VAT.
I refused to pay the extra (reluctantly paid the £220 for the 10-minute job) and sent him away.
40 minutes later we had another locksmith at our home who showed us how in five minutes he could open our front door without drilling. He charged £120 inc. VAT. It would have been only £60 to open the door without drilling.
Do not use!!!
When I first called, they said they would be there in an 25 minutes and cost 50 pounds. It took 50 minutes in all for anyone to show up.
When then trying to open my cheap lock they said some kind of safety had gone and because of this they must brake it and give me a new lock! Which he charged me 125 £ for. When googling for locksmith scams this is the first thing that gomes up haha 😂
” They’ll quote you a great price, but when they get there, they’ll say you have a special lock they can’t pick, so they have to drill it open. Then they charge you $125 for a replacement lock you can buy at Home Depot for $25.”
All in all he charged me 346 £.
Do not use this service!
Saw that they claim it is not their service but it is.
£536.40 to fit a new lock. Professional service but to deal with a jammed lock - to drill it out and replace - cost £536.40. even for an emergency seems like a rip off to me
Was in need of an emergency locksmith to open my door after I foolishly locked myself out. Andrew came along and told me it would be £200+ as he'd have to drill the lock and replace it.
I told him as a student I couldn't afford it but he stayed instead of leaving and managed to open the door without drilling into it.
Kind, considerate and helpful definitely would recommend
Chris
Quick and helpful and enjoyable service

Be very careful with this company as they are not honest in the way they do business. Had a lock that need fixing, the guy shows up and tells me that to repair the lock I would be looking at £80 but to replace teh lock I would be looking at £120 but i would get warranty with that.
I opt for the second option as i want the warranty.
He does the job, making a mess of my floor and then gives me an invoice for £295. I tell him that's double what he quoted me, and he tells me that well the labour alone was £49 and the lock was £196 plus £50 Vat on top.
HE could have told me all of that from the start. They just give you a low price and they know that once the job is done, you can't really not pay.
Dishonest. Scammers. Avoid at all costs and use a reputable company with a good trades history.
