Got a desktop from Wallmart for $100. Was exactly what I needed and it worked great for nearly my whole warranty period. It died, and I contacted Discount Computer Depot. The customer service was great, very friendly, personalized, and helpful. They tried to help me troubleshoot on a long phone call, and when they determined that there was nothing that could be done to revive the computer, they sent me a replacement. I had some issues connecting my old monitor to the replacement and they helped me troubleshoot that, too. It ended up I needed a different cable and they sent that out to me right away. I’ve been using the replacement desktop for 2 years now. It’s now time to upgrade to a new one, and I will be buying one from Discount Computer Depot again! Thank you!

I bought a computer from them on march 21th 2026, and the screen started to flashing, their products are terrible, this company is a scam, please do not buy from them, do not waste your money buying from them.

Their refurbished laptop (13 inch Lenovo ThinkPad) came in awful condition even though it was rated good. They would not give real pictures before purchasing and it was said to be in ideal condition with everything working properly. I had to buy a bunch of stickers to cover the scratches all over the body. 3 weeks into use the CMOS battery dies. They were not willing to give any sort of partial refund, shipping, or send parts to fix the issues. Really disappointing because their prices were really good. You WILL be disappointed.

If I could give them less than one star, I would. Five months ago, I bought a computer from them with a three year warranty. Three months after purchasing, it randomly stops working. We go through three weeks of trouble shooting before I finally just had to send it in and get it replaced. They replaced it with a different computer. I wasn’t super upset, because they were pretty comparable, until I realized the one they replaced it with didn’t have a camera. As a college student, that is a must. It took 13 emails from me genuinely BEGGING for them to either refund me or send me the computer I originally ordered, for them to finally send me another computer, which was STILL not the one I purchased originally, but it has a camera. Just got it today and it can’t hold a charge for more than three minutes. To say I’m frustrated is an understatement. This has been a nightmare. It has affected my work, my education, and my emotional well being. Please do not purchase from this awful company.

They are totally legit with responsive customer service. Order processing/shipping is quick. I bought a CPU in 2017 from Discount Computer Depot via eBay. It wouldn't boot. After contacting them and explaining the issue, they immediately sent a replacement. That worked until we unplugged it 3 weeks ago. After traveling with it to El Paso, it wouldn't turn on. According to uBreakiFix: fried motherboard (had I opened the case and cleaned out the dust periodically, it probably would still work). I paid abt $200+ w/taxes back then. On Jul 11, I went to DCD's site and bought another Dell (Optiplex 3050) with two 24in monitors, mouse, & keyboard. I paid $265 - 10% coupon...free shipping, no tax. It also includes $10 for 2 additional years of warranty-systems come standard w/1yr warranty. I also bought the same set for my daughter and my girlfriend got one as well. Both sets arrived well-packaged on Jul 16, 2025. I opted to pay $50 more for the SSD instead of HDD. Waiting for uBreakifix to transfer my data, then I will put system together. I remember my first computer: had to stand in line and hope they weren't all sold when my turn came...$2k for CPU, $500 monitor, but I digress.

They have fancier, more expensive computers and laptops, but for what I do (complete invoices, receipts, research, file income taxes, make purchases), I don't need anything fancy = expensive. I just need it to work. DCD is the first place I look when I need a computer/laptop.

The computer came in a very sturdy, well packed box today, with air pack insulation. On first inspection it looked as if it was brand new. I was very impressed. We hooked it up and everything worked as it we expected. An exceptional buy for the money. Thank you.

100% Solid, over 10 years counting, purchased over six (6) computers from Discount Computer Depot (Texas), including a few weeks ago and months prior, never-ever any issues whatsoever, plus insurance available, very cost effective as well, monster savings, staying with them no matter how much money I earn.
Customer Service is also damn good, punctual, accurate, respectful, and, as commented above, never-ever any issues whatsoever with products, customer for life, period.

Shipped me a dead laptop. 2 batteries are dead dead. No charge at all. They offer a couple bucks refund to cover a cheap aftermarket battery from ebay. Not labor to open up and change internal bat. They warranty says they check for 80% battery. Well that's not true . Huge PIA. Not worth the hassle. There's a reason they are cheap. I would not recommend

I recently bought a Dell i7 desktop from Discount Computer Depot off of their Ebay page. I'm I took screenshots of it because the ad has disappeared since I made my purchase a week ago. It doesn't even show in my purchase history and I have an email confirmation from Ebay. I got my computer early, March 14th, and it came well-packaged. My desktop was supposed to have 16g of ram but the one I got only had 8g. The CD tray also sticks. Have to use a paperclip to open it. I contacted Discount Computer's customer service, spoke with Jennifer about the ram discrepancy. She said that I didn't select the 16g option. I told her that there weren't any options. Just the one click to add it to my cart. We went round and round about this, with her offering nothing to compensate for their error. I would have even settled for a ram disk at cost. She acted like their false advertising was my fault. The ad she sent me was hugely different than the one I saw and made my purchase off of. I can only surmise that many have had the same issue with them. I did report them to Ebay as well. I wish I would have found this page when I was considering purchasing it. I have NEVER had such an experience on Amazon, Etsy, Temu or even Walmart. I have a product problem, they are on it.

It is simply a scam, misleading advertising, you buy an item and they send you another and it is very damaged and not very functional. I bought a Lenovo t470s and they sent me a Lenovo L470, in condition to be thrown away. Before buying from this seller, look at the comments, this seller. it is not reliable.

At the end of 2023, I purchased a Dell Laptop Latitude from Discount Computer Depot for nearly $300.00, I was not working, and I did not want to pay for a new computer at the time. My goodness this computer they sent me was very old and heavy, but I could deal with it if it works properly. Specially, it is the first time that I bought a refurbish computer my expectation was very low. But it arrived over heated that one I was not anticipated. I had called and spoke to 3 different technicians at the different time they told me about the people in the warehouse miss handled the machines before sending them out. It took me sometimes because I was very busy to return it to them within a month. I had to pay to return it for another one. Finally, I had time to send it back. I used FedEx to send it back. They sent another one back within 2 weeks Equally over heated. Today which is January 3, 2024, by 2:30 PM I finished talking to one Technician name Michael Mobley. A very rude man. Even though I was unhappy about the situation when I called, I was very polite explaining to him that the second computer that they sent me overheated again. Instead, he blames the broken machine to my house. He said to me something must be causing the computer to overheat at your house. I said to Michael they sent the computer partly charge to my house enough that I can set it. That makes no sense that something is overheated the computer at my house when I have not plug it to charge yet. At the end of the conversation, Michael Mobley at discount Computer Depot told me to pay again to send it back to discount computer depot. He will not give me another unit, but he will work on the same unit to retest again. Michael Mobley said if it is not overheated when he tests it at his end and will return the same computer to me. He will not exchange for another one. It is not a good thing to spend that extra money for shipping and come across rude people while they have you going through it. I will not buy any refurbish computer from discount computer depot or another company that is a waste of time. Discount computer selling these junk machines to people and have very unprofessional people working for them. It is very, very sad!!!

Ok here it goes as it did. I bought a problem with this company. I purchased a machine from them. It was a laptop. The first laptop had issues with the function keys not working. Also the plug that goes into the laptop was unplugging all the time. I sent it back. Then I got the second lap top and the Microsoft license was not activated and The function keys didn't work again. Now I am on the 3erd laptop and the bios battery was dead. I decided to change the battery on my own. DO YOU WANT TO GO THROUGH THIS? They ended up giving me 30 off the machine at the end.

I ordered a computer from them around first of July well it never arrived. So they agreed to ship a replacement. I asked this company to please make it to where Fedex would need the signature of the person receiving said package if i wasn't home. Well the date it's showing package as being delivered Fedex wasn't even at my home. I don't know where the Laptops are. They aren't wanting to reimburse me. I've filed with Paypal, bbb.org, fedex and seeing who else i will need to go through in order to get my funds back. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. I should have read reviews before ordering because i see the same thing has happened before. This isn't the proper way tp run a business. I don't know if it's this company fault or Fedex. I just want my money back. I was out of town on the day the delivery was supposed to happen but my son was home and my neighbors were watching also for me. No package was delivered

I ordered a pc that came with 2 monitors. The PC worked great but one of the monitors would not work correctly. The replaced it with a monitor that was 11 years old and in worse condition. The said that they could not replace it if the monitor could turn on. BEWARE OF THE BAIT AND SWITCH!!!

I just received my 3rd dell. But none of the emails I put in will go through. I didn't have this problem before, in fact I had a phone number before to help me. I still need help. Thanks

I just purchased my second refurbished computer from Discount Computer Depot and I am even happier with this purchase. In my experience, their refurbished computers are indistinguishable from a new one. My "new" Dell 9020 with an i5 - 4th gen quad core processor is fast and smooth and quiet. I got this desktop computer WITH 22" monitor, keyboard, mouse, and wifi adapter for less than $100 thru walmart.com. Everyone I have ever dealt with, both in sales and support have been pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable. But here's the truly extraordinary part: when you leave a message, they get back to you asap. When they tell you they will call you, they keep their word. That is a treasure these days. Their products exceed expectations and the prices will leave you speechless, except for the involuntary giggle as you shake your head in amazement. The service is great, whether it's the sales team or the support staff, and you have to feel good when you buy one of their machines that it's good for the planet to recycle.

No big issues generally they were good to go. Could tighten up on the calls and the site is sketchy at times. Overall I will buy again.
