When I purchased the first solar ac everything worked out great. The second unit I purchased arrived with one out of seven panels cracked. I tried to contact company and sent pictures. No response.

I can confirm that your inverter and balance-of-system components have shipped, but looking into your order I see the solar panels and battery have not yet been dispatched. I’ve raised a ticket internally with our logistics team to find out what caused the delay.

I wish I would’ve seen these reviews before I ordered from this company. It’s been 2 months trying to get the micro inverters that I paid for $4500 and still nothing they sent me something calling it proof of delivery but there is no signature. So I can’t even try to find them asked all my neighbors nothing.They told me to go to ups and did but as the receiver ups told me that I could not do anything that the sender has to contact them. Now these people want take my calls or answer my emails. So please do yourself a favor and buy from anywhere else I wished I did.

Your order was originally shipped, marked as delivered and signed for. After you raised the concern that you hadn’t received it, we investigated with UPS and dispatched a replacement that same week.
The replacement shipment we sent is also showing as delivered, with a confirmed signature at your address on file. Given that both shipments are confirmed delivered while you continue to report non-receipt, this situation has raised red flags internally. We’ve paused direct replies while we work with UPS to fully investigate what has happened and determine whether this is a genuine delivery issue or a false claim.

The easier a vendor makes the buying process, the better. For me that means a complete product and price list, simple online ordering, fast delivery, reliable tracking, and real human support. Direct Solar Power checks all six boxes—they’re now a permanent part of my system.

BUYER BEWARE – Faulty EG4 12K Hybrid Solar AC/DC Unit & Poor Vendor Support ⚠️
I strongly advise against buying from this seller. They knowingly sold me a defective EG4 12K Hybrid Solar AC/DC unit and refused to take proper responsibility for the issue.
The unit does not function as advertised—it fails to operate using solar DC power alone, even with over 90V and a properly balanced PV system of four panels, as claimed in their documentation and sales kits. After purchase, I was subjected to a long series of ineffective troubleshooting steps that led nowhere. When that failed, they shifted the blame to the manufacturer and completely washed their hands of the situation.
This vendor clearly lacks honesty, professionalism, and integrity. Their customer service was dismissive and unhelpful, showing zero accountability for the products they sell.
Avoid this vendor at all costs. Buy at your own risk.

In fact, we specifically offered to escalate the warranty claim with EG4 on your behalf so that you can receive a replacement — something we normally ask customers to do themselves.
We want to be clear: the EG4 12K Hybrid you purchased is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Like all distributors, we do not produce or alter the units, and defects, while rare, are addressed through the manufacturer’s warranty process. That is exactly why we offered to step in and assist you directly.
It is not accurate to say that we “refused responsibility” or “washed our hands” of the situation. On the contrary, we went beyond our standard policy by offering to manage the escalation for you. We remain committed to working with EG4 until a resolution is in place for you.
For anyone reading this, please know that Direct Solar Power stands by honesty, professionalism, and customer support. If a unit ever arrives defective, we work with our customers and the manufacturer to ensure warranty protections are honored and a working product is delivered.

they didnt give me the discount i was quoted for and wouldnt let me return the iteams threated me with restocking fee so i wouldnt return the stuff i was overcharge for and didnt have the minispilt i ordered and then refuse to sell me one after calling me a fruad i saved the convo to report to bbb and my credit card company ps thry are full of shit i have conversation with them saying no taxes and 200 for shipping they are full of bs and my name is jordan sullenberger i dont care who know direct solar are scaming smugbags

Edit: That is exactly the price that you paid - $200 and no sales tax were applicable to order due to the state you are in - we've shared the proof of this multiple times and it is also visible on your invoice.
The price you were comparing and referring to as a "quote" was the price in cart once our promotion sets changed. That is not applicable to your case as we do not modify pricing on previous orders and promotions change based on season (sometimes a discount is given on the product, sometimes on the shipping or sometimes none). The price you paid remained less expensive than if you would try to go to checkout and view the final price, which again we have shown proof for.
We’re sorry to hear you feel this way. After reviewing your order history and our team’s communications with you, we’d like to clarify — as our representatives explained to you multiple times — prices shown in a shopping cart are not formal quotes. They do not include shipping or applicable taxes, which are calculated at checkout and clearly itemized before payment. You received your items at the agreed-upon price with Alex and within the stated timeframe.
Regarding your request to return the products: as outlined in our return policy (available on our website), returns are subject to a restocking fee to cover inspection, repackaging, and related costs.

The mini split is working fantastic on ac grid The delivery was not acceptable because there was 3 solar panels instead of 4 at 440w. The battery cables 4 AWG was different then what we had ordered with 4 plugs 5/16 and we ordered 8 plugs 4x3/8 and 8 plugs 5/16. IMO was sent with faulty terminal 2 no contact . A little pipe under the mini split is very fluffy cannot go all the way in for proper water evacuation . We did pay extra for the minor items . Its really a beautiful item and is working nicely so far. however we have not been able to use it on solar yet due to configuration issues with the panels that were sent and the cables for the battery will cost us extra now because the package was incomplete . Unit is very quiet running with acceptable wattage on grid power we will see how it runs with solar and batteries as soon as we can. Unfortunately communication is difficult for customer service is not responding regarding these shipment issues. At this time, we can say we do highly recommend this eg4 12k system.

Everything was great after they got the Eg4 hybrid mini splits back in stock. The shipment was pretty quick. My gripe is they didn't show "out of stock" when I ordered it. I was notified after the payment went through a day or two after. A few delays on when they were expected a shipment (which I know is out of their hands).

The panels are great
The panels are great, the price was great, and the actual delivery was better than expected because the driver helped me move the bundle from his truck into mine rather than just drop them off at the location. The only part that bothered me was the lack of a tracking number and shipping date for the first few days when I didn't know if this was a real outfit or a scam. It all turned out just fine, so no real complaints.

Great customer service
What made my experience so special was the excellent customer service that I received after my shipment didn’t arrive. I called the customer service line and they said they would look into the issue and get back with me in a few hours. Two hours later they let me know what had happened and my package was now on the way.
They made no excuses and followed up with me when they said they would. Greatest customer service I’ve seen in quite a while. Thank you.

Robert, we take this sort of situation very seriously and want to provide clarity for anyone reading this.
This order was placed directly through our online website using a valid payment method, and our system (Shopify) marked it as Low Risk for fraud. There were no red flags or alerts at the time of purchase neither from our systems nor from you directly.
We fulfilled and shipped the order promptly to the exact address which was entered at checkout, and even provided status updates to the email on file. On the morning of delivery—at exactly 8:32 AM—you called to request an address change while the package was already loaded on the UPS vehicle and out for delivery. We immediately contacted UPS to attempt a re-route, but due to the tight timeline, they were unable to intercept it.
During that call, there was no mention of a stolen card or fraud—only that your coworker placed the order and that he may have listed the incorrect shipping address once placing the order.
At no point prior to during the order process did you notify us that the card used was fraudulently used. We have full records of all communication— including both via phone and emails.
We are currently responding to the chargeback you submitted with full documentation, including fraud analysis, shipping details, and all communication records.
We want to be as transparent as possible to ensure this situation gets resolved promptly and fairly for both parties. Our team has personally reached out to better understand your side of the situation and see what we can do to work towards a mutually beneficial resolution.
This situation followed an unusual set of circumstances, but we strive to serve every customer with transparency, integrity, and a commitment to quick and fair resolution.

I was at first nervious about buying from a newer company but the reviews were good enough to take a risk. i was able to order online and even get clearification with a live person prior to ordering. I have ordered twice and both times the product and shipping communication were on par. i will be ordering again as i expand my system.
