Having used pretty much every phone provider on the planet, I'd like to think I'm a pretty decent judge on this subject.

Devyce have blown them all out of the water. From the speed of set up to customer support to quality of calls to ease of use to everything in between; they are in a class of their own.

Very glad I came crawling back to them (from one of the giants of this space) and would, and continue, to recommend to anyone.

What an unbelievably useful tool this is for the traveller/ digital nomad abroad. It helps us keep up with all the things we need from home and receive phonecalls/ messages (so vital when so many things need a One time Password these days) whilst paying for a local sim card to have all day access to data etc.

I’ve been using xpatfone by Devyce for 2 years whilst based in Singapore, and successfully used it in Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, South Korea, UAE and Japan. It’s enabled me to keep in touch with all my UK commitments by phone and receive all the security text codes, email, WhatsApp and data connectivity that modern life requires. I use a Singapore SIM card and within other countries, I use an eSIM to enable data connectivity when outdoors away from a WiFi connection. Ironically this also included an extended spell in the UK. Nobody knows I’m outside the UK unless I tell them.

I was on Vodafone pay monthly for more than 15 years and wanted to continue for another 15 years but, since I will be out of UK most of the time, so paying higher charges to keep my number active and to receive occasional calls does not really make sense.

I was googling and found that xpatfone by Devyce provide an option exactly what I’ve looking for.

Less than 24 hours, the mobile is ported from Vodafone to xpatfone and service is really great.

Tested the call from Devyce app to UK Landline and the voice is really good.

I didn't want to lose my UK number when I moved to Jersey, but Vodafone were going to impose high roaming charges, so with some trepidation I took the plunge and got a PAC number from Vodafone. Communication from Devyce was instant and helpful. The change was completed within 24 hours and magically I was able to receive texts and calls on my old number.

Very fast and easy onboarding, but quick response times for queries. The app works fine and makes a big difference for people to simply call my UK number when trying to get hold off me.

Thank you to the people behind this fantastic technology!! After moving from the UK to Australia last year I panicked when I got a text from Three last week to say I'd exhausted their fair use policy and they were stopping my services. I had a quick look around on the internet for alternatives to keep my UK number active and stumbled across Devyce. Thought I'd give it a go thinking I had nothing to lose as my UK number would soon be cut off regardless. How pleasantly surprised I was with such a quick and efficient process the whole thing was, and I was able to keep my existing UK number with porting complete over the weekend. This means I will still be able to receive my OTPs from the UK and also makes it easier to keep in touch with my parents and elderly grandmother in the UK without having to faff around changing numbers and updating everything.

And all for an incredibly low monthly price!

So far so good! Call quality seems to be more than fine at this point and texts received as well through the app.

Absolutely fantastic. I could not believe i got my phone number back after my UK provider barred me since I moved abroad, the whole process took less than 24 hours. I think this is the best solution if you plan on keeping your UK phone number when moving abroad.

Decided to move after 2 years of procrastinating, as my wife's phone (Poco X3) does not always show incoming calls from Devyce. My Samsung seems to work fine on the trial, and so I ported my number. Very quick and simple - despite a couple of broken URLs - the process was excellent. Received my first calls and all behaved as expected.

The product is awesome – easy to use, intuitive, and reliable. Porting my UK number over was quick and hassle-free, and their communication throughout setup was fantastic. I’m now saving money compared to my old UK SIM while living abroad. Highly recommend!

Followed the directions, worked as expected. I was expecting this to be a bit of a faff, but actually it was all quite painless. I followed the directions and was able to transfer over my number to my new account in just two days.

I contracted with Xpatfone/Devyce about 6 months ago and the service blew me away. Nothing was too much trouble. I asked lots of questions beforehand and all were answered at length, very patiently. Some of us, especially of advancing age, may not catch on quite as fast as we once did.
I had an opportunity to test it while on an extended trip to SE Asia. It just works, via the Internet, without the expense of roaming costs. I just dial the UK number I want using a separate keypad within the Devyce App.
More recently I took the plunge and transferred my regular UK number from EE, to replace the temporary number that was assigned by Xpatfone/Devyce. That completed my transition. For months I'd been worrying that I might lose my UK number while porting and face the prospect of rebuilding a 25 year contact list from scratch under a different UK mobile number.
All I had to do was obtain a PAC as usual from EE and pass it on to Xpatfone/Devyce.
Again, the service was just seamless. It took about 24 hours from end to end. Had I not been updated to confirm it was finished, I would not have realised I was no longer with EE. It just happens in the background.
All I can say from experience is if you live overseas and need to make or receive calls, texts (inc. authentication codes from, say, your bank in the UK) then try it out. If for some reason you don't like it, then port your number back again.
If you're using Wi-Fi, the service just works - much like the other VoIP services we're used to. Should you wish to use it while away from Wi-Fi, just add a data SIM/eSIM. While in the UK that means a UK data SIM/eSIM, and then replace that with a data SIM/eSIM at your destination overseas. Once added, just switch it on in phone settings.
It is possible to buy a single data eSIM for use in multiple countries for up to a year in advance, making the concept especially valuable for travellers. Essentially, that makes roaming painless in any of the overseas locations that it covers - as long as you can pick up the local network. If UK contacts need to ring me overseas, they can just do so, as if I was still in the UK.
I cannot thank the company enough! It is fair to say that patience and professionalism is what sold it to me. In the absence of those I probably wouldn't have dared take the plunge and might have lost my UK presence.

I have moved abroad but wanted to keep my UK mobile number for work. The UK mobile companies do not offer contracts for permenant overseas use, however after some googling I came across Devyce who offer the ideal solution. I was a bit hesitant at first as I'd not heard of this kind of service before, but decided to go ahead and give it a try. I registered with them, downloaded the app, got the PAC number for my service provider and passed it on to Devyce via an online form, and the next day my UK number was working via the Devyce app. I've been using it a couple of weeks now and works great for both incoming and outgoing calls and texts. It requires an internet connection but if I'm out and about I can just use my local SIM card as a hotspot so that's no issue for me. I had a few queries along the way and the Devyce customer service people responded quickly and provided all the details I needed. The best part is that the monthly subscription is less than half of what I was paying for the regular contract. Highly recommend Devyce for anyone wanting to use their UK number abroad, you can also get a new UK number from Devyce if you don't have an existing one that you want to keep.

I am so happy I found Devyce - simple to start using and so far have found the customer service to be quick and efficient.
