Fast service and competitively priced. Highly recommend Devitt Insurance for Classic bike insurance. Easy to deal with and efficient. The quote was almost 30% less than my previous insurer and met the needs I have without adding expensive extras.

This is my first policy with Devitt for quite a number of decades. Your Policy Quote was £35.00 cheaper than Swinton which was excellent news.
My proof of N.C.D was easy to download via your online portal and I thought it was very good that you offer two other ways to send proof.

English and very helpful
Being able to speak to someone English made the experience much easier.
Everyone I spoke to was very helpful and knowledgeable.
Confirming that I had fully comprehensive cover while riding in Spain was also important to me.

DON'T USE THIS INEPT COMPANY
Been waiting over 8 months for compensation, with a chain of emails as long as my arm....whoever even though a cheque was cut and sent last September I am still waiting for it....updated my address as I did move so the first one is a given, but the next three are not. Incompetence and terrible communication not only with there customers but clearly between themselves is out of control. Do not use devvitt, they are a terrible company with even worse customer service. Ombudsman notified and next course of action.

Insurance was due but due to bank replacement renewal couldn't be completed, was called repeatedly but was unfortunately at work, made callback today to renew and was dealt with swifty, I'd say 10 to 15 minutes max, VERY GOOD!

Easy to renew and realistic quotes
Easy to renew and realistic quotes, saves me shopping around every year. Also, my Dad was insured with Devitt for decades back in the 70's and 80's. That means a lot to me.

Easy search and a reasonable quote
Gave me a reasonable quote for a Vespa scooter insurance. Last insurer wanted a 70% hike. Even after they'd offered me a discount it was more than Devitt. Compare the Market was a very useful way of finding a reasonable quote. Wasn't the cheapest but it's a company I have used before and trust. For the record ... if insurers want customer loyalty, they need to stop the "try it on" tactic of hiking premiums and offering discounts if the customer notices.

20% more expensive than other quotes
20% more expensive than other quotes , you took the money from my account 10 days before the policy began , why should I pay ten days in advance , and receive my refund in 7 days time , is this legal !I tried to explain to the call handler , just after she rolled off all her obligations and , I explained a search engine quoted yourself £55 less than my renewal, she edged me towards leaving rather than compromising , so now I’m no longer your customer !

Hello David, thank you for your review. I have looked into this and can see that you were sent the renewal details on the 1st of May 2026, which advised the policy would automatically renew 7 working days prior to the renewal. This would mean that the payment would be taken in advance to ensure this cleared before the renewal for you.
I can also see that we had already looked at an alternative policy at the time of the policy being invited and details of this was sent to you. As we are an insurance Broker, we were not able to reduce this further as it was the most competitive premium would could offer.
