Ordered 10 fish. Order dispatched then sorry we cant fulfill your order. Nearly 3/4 of a month to arrive.

Discount aquatics my normal buy was delivered within 4 days.
Complete sham. Very unprofessional. Also delivery was expensive. Wont be using these EVER again

They inconveniently organised the delivery for the day I was going on holiday. So I've phoned them, emailed them and got no replies. By far the worst fish company I have ever dealt with.

Not impressed, ordered corydoras and ember tetras. Most fish covered in ich, two passed within hours. Auto scheduled delivery despite saying that they contact you to arrange it, which implies that you can choose the date. Sent the wrong food item.

I have an account with this company and have ordered before, ( Oct. 2025 ), without a problem. I now have a larger tank for those fish, so I cleaned their old tank and.....
Ordered another 5 fancy goldfish on the 14th Sept. They were dispatched on the 16th.
Arrived in the afternoon of the 17th. Careful unpacking showed 1 dead fish, 4 still swimming in cloudy, smelly water, due to the dead fish. I suspect, due to its condition, that it died before dispatch. Rescued the living fish and emailed the company regarding the dead fish within the hour, including photographic evidence. NO REPLY. Emailed twice more. NO REPLY. Logged in to the web site. Their AI bot promised to reply after investigation. NO REPLY.
Emailed twice again on the 18th. AI bot even suggested that I had a right to report my findings HERE, so I have.
The cost of the fish was £26.25 and postage was £19.95! I expected a safe delivery at this price. I expected a reply to my complaint. My best advice to anyone purchasing live fish is,
DO NOT PURCHASE THEM FROM THIS COMPANY.
I have requested a replacement fish or a 20% refund for the dead fish. I hope they read this, but from other reviews here, I doubt that they will. Perhaps they should retire from the business.

​Shocking disregard for live animal welfare and explicit delivery instructions!

I ordered live Tiger Shrimp from Delta Aquarium (Order #183930).
Their own website states they contact customers to arrange a suitable delivery day for live stock.

Instead, they auto-scheduled delivery for Friday 11th September without checking my availability.

​I immediately emailed them on Saturday 5th September explicitly stating I was not available on the 11th due to medical appointments and instructed them NOT to ship for that date.

They completely ignored my email, failed to reply, and dispatched the live animals anyway to arrive on the exact date I warned them I would be out.

​Treating live, delicate creatures like inert packages and disregarding explicit warnings about recipient availability is a gross failure of animal welfare. Profits over animal safety. Avoid.

I would give zero stars if I could.

I cancelled my order immediately after placing it, after then checking the Trustpilot reviews and realising I should have done that first.

More than a week later, after repeated emails and a phone call, I still have no confirmation that my refund has been processed. I was told I would be contacted the next day. I wasn’t.

A basic cancellation should not require this much chasing. The communication has been dreadful and I have now had to raise a dispute with my bank.

The reviews were a warning. Unfortunately, I read them too late.

Close to fraud. Bought 3 items off their website that once paid for showed up as "Awaiting/Out of stock". Emailed them to cancel the order to which i got a reply confirming. A month down the line and no refund, have had to raise a dispute with my CC company.

Don’t waist your time and money. Been waiting for a month till received my order.
They sent the wrong clownfish, and when I called them, they tried to convince me that they had sent the correct one. In the end, I received no compensation at all, and I had to give the fish away and buy the one I actually wanted from another seller.

I ordered an Axolotl a week ago and it came today,well packed,very alive and active and I think the service from Delta was brilliant and so 5* all the way and thanks...

Do not waste your effort on this company. Ordered 2 white porcelain crabs 7th May. Had to chase them for delivery time as the expected dates given had passed. Finally after numerous phone calls and excuses given of 6 “failed” attempts to getting them in stock one crab arrived when I challenged on to where the other one was they admitted the person who picked my order messed up and as they have messed me around so much they will send me the other one free of delivery charge. To clarify at this point the first one died after a week had the water tested everything was fine my end.. still waiting for the crab to arrive and have to keep sending contact to them. They are awful at communicating do not keep to their word the most awful company I have ever dealt with to date

Absolutely the worst company I've ever had the misfortune to deal with.
My fish tropical reed fish arrived in a bag and just a cardboard box.
It arrived beaten up, missing an eye and died before I even took the poor mite from his bag.
I will be reporting for animal cruelty.
It doesn't end there. This sham company doesn't reply to messages regarding the issue. PayPal is now dealing with these cruel muppets.
HONESTLY FOLK, AVOID THIS EXCUSE FOR AN AQUATICS SHOP. I'm making everyone aware of these lot on my numerous aquatic groups.

Terrible communication, unwell fish

Ordered 7 fish, 2 died unixbilcably within weeks. A 3rd has developed fin rot. All the other 18 fish in my pond, purchased from the local garden centre have had no issues and are thriving. I'm concerned I may have introduced bugs to my other fish now so the situation is stressful. Spent a lot of time and effort trying to save sick fish. I would not recommend buying from this shop and I wish I had seen these trust pilot reviews before ordering. Google gives them a 4.2 rating which does not reflect trust pilot at all. I've seen a lot of excuses listed on the 1 star reviews on Google. Very disappointed.

Ich bestellte im guten Glauben das Präparat "Zec Off" für Hunde.
Dabei klickte ich "Sparplan" an, weil ich dachte, diese Option würde ein wenig Ersparnis bringen. Sie war lediglich das Ergebnis zweier zusätzlicher Lieferungen des Präparats über 75 €. Das Wort wird in keinster Weise als Abonnement deklariert. Ich habe die Lastschrift - von der Firma aus meinem PayPal Konto - abgebucht - sofort zurück gebucht. Eine "Dame" mit dem Namen Selina, Co-Founder & CEO schrieb mir via Mail einen langen, provozierenden und unverschämten Brief mit differenzierten Androhungen. Ich kann vor diesem Unternehmen nur warnen.
Ebenso bitte ich vorsichtig zu sein mit eingedostem Hundenassfutter. Es kam mit aufgeblähtem Dosendeckel an. Mein Hund hat nur am Inhalt gerochen und sich abgewendet.

People please don’t waist your money and time. Really poor communication ,long delivery. And the main think they send me wrong fish instead of Picasso clownfish just common and doesn’t even replay on my emails.

1. long wait for delivery
2. Communication shockingly poor
3. Missing fish - which I had to ask for a refund for despite them being aware of them being missing
4 Four fish and 8 shrimp died within a couple of days - I'm an experienced fishkeeper who has 5 tanks so I know how to successfully introduce new fish to aquariums.

If I could give them zero stars I definitely would.

Good luck if you're thinking about buying from them but I personally won't be touching them with a barge pole!!!

Ordered Some life fish on 12th June and they were supposed to come today 19th June but I am still waiting! Can't phone them because the number they have isn't recognised 😡 and they don't reply to emails, Absolutely a Joke 😞

This company is a scam
They rob people's refund money

Should have paid attention to the reviews on this one. Ordered for the first time and never again. A nightmare to get hold of, take ages to reply. But talked to me in emails about a fish for days, I bought it, they confirmed the order, sent a shipping day, and today told me my order was shipped via confirmation email then get a call today saying they’ve sold the fish. Great I’ll just sit at home on the day off I’ve booked for tomorrow.
