Stellar Customer Service
At this point my review is mainly for the customer service I have received. They have been very responive and helpful with informing me on how to get started. My intended use was aimed more at carving and i didn't realize the included bits are not designed for that application. So the proper tools are on the way! The pen seems to be put together very well and I'm sure it will do the job well.

Instruments to enhance art
Elizabeth bought the items for me to allow me to enhance my pyrography craft work. They are beautiful instruments and create fantastic texture.
I’m an ex soldier and suffered limb loss, and having given up wood turning, needed a new craft. Thankyou. David

Great for customizing small metal, glass, leather objects
I’ve received my Customized in about 2 weeks after the order have been made.
The results are different depending on the material. The best results are achieved on leather, metal and glass, surprisingly (thought it takes quite a time to do elaborate patterns).
The basic set of bits works the best on these surfaces.
It takes lots of strength and time to make a pattern on a stone, I guess either the power is not enough or the bits are not suitable.
I really like this tool thanks to the long time of working (around 2 hours on low or medium speed), the small and handy size and light weight.
It’s perfect for particularly customizing your items, making small gifts and such.

Hi Alena! Thank you for sharing your experience with the Customizer! We're delighted to hear that you've found it to be a valuable tool for customizing various materials. It's indeed a versatile tool for adding a personal touch to your items and creating unique gifts.
We appreciate your feedback on its performance with stones. Stone engraving can be a bit more challenging due to the hardness of the material, and you may want to explore different bit types and techniques for stone engraving, we highly recommend our Grinding Bits set. If you have any questions or need guidance on this, please feel free to reach out to our support team, and they'll be happy to assist you.
Happy crafting!

Small compact unit with sufficient power and working time to have some fun while out on a walk. I use it on the beach to work on drift wood and stones. Lots of fun. I am still experimenting on different surfaces.

Faulty product
I have bought two of the engraving pens and both of them do not charge all the way. I get maybe 30 minutes of time using each of them, not the 2 hours they claim. The power and battery both drop ridiculously quick when all I am doing is some light sanding. I really wanted a worthwhile engraver but these are more trouble than they have been worth.
***update: The company replied that they would replace my faulty device, but when I emailed them about it they only offered me a discount on a new product. I will not buy another product from them since they refuse to take responsibility for their faulty pens. I will be looking into other brands instead.

Thank you, Culiau!
I bought an engraving pen and mini saws set for my daughter. Have tried the engraving pen and it was fun to experiment with. I discovered that Culiau is now having a promotion where if you order the engraving pen, you get a free e-book guide. I reached out to Culiau and asked if I could have this, because I did not get it before. They replied within a few hours and not only gave me the e-book for the engraving pen, but also attached a PDF guide that explain the multiple bits in the set, so that my 14-year old and I can get the most out of the purchase. Thank you, Culiau!

An Alabaster and Soapstone "must have" carving tool
I utilize the Culiau Customizer to carve alabaster and soapstone sculptures using it particularly for the fine detailing of eyes, claws, creating hair, feathers, fins etc. The lightweight design and small profile allow easy manipulation of the tool to access and carve with intricate detail. The battery lasts in excess of 2 hours and when used properly and allowing the tool to gently spin freely, the diamond or double cut carbide steel burrs, quickly and effortlessly remove unwanted stock from the stone. I highly recommend this product and give it a two thumbs up a full 5 star rating.

Superb products and customer service
I cannot fault this company for products sand more important customer service. I purchased the engraving pen and for small fine work when carving its perfect. I then ordered the pro burning pen and I made the mistake of not qualifying it was for use in the uk so received a US version. It was too low voltage so emailed and provided proof of condition and they courteously sent another correct one. Super customer service I highly recommend this company.
