I have been using Crazytel for 12 months now. So that I can receive calls, I purchased a Crazytel phone number at a cost of $1.00 / month. I used my existing Telstra landline number and closed my Telstra account. The monthly charge ($1.00) together with the cost of calls is significantly cheaper than what I was paying. I now pay less in 12 months than I was paying in 1 month with Telstra. I set up a separate email account for voicemail, recorded my own message, and all voicemail messages are sent to that email address. I can make and receive calls and get my voicemail messages anywhere.

I have not had any problems with my Crazytel account or the VOIP service, so I cannot comment on after sales service.

This is a great product, I highly recommend Crazytel VOIP.

The worst customer service ever! We have had a major issue with our numbers being spoofed. Lodge one ticket and get a response from Phil... see below. No Super Star here, as per their email signature.

I called 14 hours later to get an update and to ask if there was anything else we could do, and before I could even ask my question, he (Phil actually answered the call) abruptly told me he had responded and there was nothing they could do and have raised the query with the provider. Not only was his attitude terrible, but the level of care and customer service was nonexistent. I am sure they will respond about my being angry which I admit my response was that so I will add it in here for completeness.

Moved to Crazytel so that can change ISPs without the hassle of waiting for VOIP service to be ported.
Phil has been most helpful assisting setting up TIPT phone and helping with my account question.
The price is very reasonable, and I am extremely happy with their service.
Thank you to Crazytel and have no hesitation recommending them to anyone. Well done good people.

I started with Pennytel. Great rates no monthly line fee with untimed local calls and cheap DID. They were bought out by Mynetfone and the Pennytel plans were honored. Mynetfone got bought by Vonnex and Pennytel plans went south and line costs went through the roof. Luckily I came across Crazytel (love the name) and DID and call costs are more than reasonable. Great features, especially Ring Groups. No need for PBX! Number porting done in a couple of weeks and ported on the scheduled date, worked immediately on the day. Great support, phones answered quickly (rare these days) and they know their stuff. Would definitely recommend Crazytel.

Absolutely the best

I used mynetphone for years. I migrated to crazytel after MNF sold to a very inferio provider. Crazytel has an amazing user interface and pricing (even better than MNF... how is that possible?!). Very happy and highly recommend their products and services.

Quirky, different and unique flavour of customer support that is lost to the generations. Crazytel will get the job done and they'll do it well.

Great service at a great price. The only thing minor issue I noticed was that call clarity was somewhat lower compared to a landline. I have used other VOIP providers in the past and call clarity was on par with a landline. This was unfortunately significant enough to stop me from moving my business line to Crazytel but I will continue using them as a backup service for now. I hope Crazytel fixes this as everything else about them is awesome!

I love the small company feel that is able to provide the personal touch. You know your dealing with real people who are only a phone call away, not a call centre overseas. I should have made the move years ago. 5 stars for sure, shout out to Phil, a true wizard and master of his craft. I dated this review for 12 months ago as that is when I first signed up, not a single complaint, ported my number, ironed out the only couple of issues I had, its been a great 12 months with no headache's and CHEAP business phoneline costs. Went looking for an a new provider (have been with MyNetFone for years) and found the initial setup process very straightforward. Played around and tested things, found everything I needed so tried to request a port of my existing NZ DID number but the portal wouldn't accept it. Contacted support and they said no problem just give them the details ... so I did, and the rest of the process went perfectly. Their Android client works well (easy setup, reliable, minimal battery impact) so am using that too. Zoiper worked OK but I don't need its complexity so am very happy to switch.

Used Crazytel at home for a few years, and now use them for SIP gateways at work too. Bennett had an issue, and the tech support were helpful getting our 3CX queues going.

Always fantastic service. They go above and beyond every time.

The phone service is great value and reliable. Works well on a range of internet connection types and the sound quality is fine. Good internet speed is understandably necessary for call quality and stability. Some of the features like announcement, attendant and ring groups are super useful and provide a very good level of customisation and control over the inbound call experience.

I spoke with Phil in support, he was absolutely first rate, extremely patient and helpful. Got our SIP service up and running, sent us out a hand-set that was already configured. All we had to do was set up the WiFi login on the handset and we were good to go.

Having used a number of VoIP service providers in the past, I find that currently, Crazytel is the cream of the crop. I love the interface, the many included features, such as ring groups, my favourite. Crazytel represents the best value for money compared to its competitors.
Customer support, if needed, is excellent. They also have a presence in the Whirlpool forums, where you can ask questions, make suggestions, leave feedback, etc.

Service is reliable and stable for Business use, Customer service staff are always happy to help, no matter the subject on VoIP services and DIDs, Porting in my DIDs was very easy. Been with them for 6 Months, Best move I ever have done. The pricing is great for what is included with the service.

Once connected the service is reliable and simple to use.

Knowledgeable customer support team, genuinely listen to your needs and provide options without the scripted sales push.

Excellent and reliable service. Very reasonable pricing. Also happy with the ease of porting one of my local landline numbers to VOIP. Much easier than anticipated. Only plus would be good if they could add international DID numbers to their virtual number offerings.
