WORSE STREAMING SERVICE EVER. CHARGED MY CARD 135$ AFTER I ALREADY CANCELLED

Crave is one of the worst streaming platforms out there. It's a shame that it's Canadian. Because being Canadian, I was expecting the best. I've noticed they have this problem for a long time and they never fix it.

For every 2 minutes of movies or shows, they put 10 ads, and every time you want to go back or skip forward, there are also 10 ads. And suddenly it gets stuck and you can't continue watching because you exit and come back in, they show you ads again, and at the end of the ad it says error or it freezes.

They really need to fix this because they have several series that interest me, and sometimes I get tired of it.

They play way more than there 5 minutes of commercials per hour. I hope they are investigated for false advertising

I would give zero if I could. I’m trying to watch a bloody tv show and there are 15 adds. On top of this, it gives me an “error” notification everytime I finish watching the bloody 4 ads. Then, when I log out and log back in, it forces me to watch another four ads. So I am stuck in a bloody circle.

Crave is not only the worst streaming service, it may be the single worst app technology ever created. I have a "Standard With Ads" Crave subscription through my mobile service provider. The ads are designed to push you into the Premium plan (they are not only extraordinarily excessive, but are programmed at random, with abrupt spikes in volume). So fine, I fold, and decide to pay for Crave Premium. Except I can't. It's not possible. There is literally no way for me to upgrade. Apparently I need to cancel my "free" subscription, then wait three weeks for the cancellation to go into effect, at which point Crave will take my money.
Except they won't, because eff this effing piece of shit streaming "service."

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced! Called 3 times, waited 30-40 minutes, 3rd time I was disconnected and no one called me back! Terrible worthless choices, got it free with Walmart.ca and I have no desire to take this further. Thanks but no thanks!

Garbage streaming service. Absolutely worthless

The worst streaming platform. I understand having a lower tiered option with ads, BUT why does it glitch each time after the ads finish playing and then my show/movie won’t stream anymore??? It has no problem playing the ads (repeatedly too) but can’t seem to play the actual show/movie.

J'ai droit aux 4 publicités, mais le contenu ne reprend pas. Vraiment pénible.

I like the shows on the app.

There are 2 problems with Crave. Adds and shows are on 2 different sound levels. Adds are blasting crazy and I need to put the sound bar at 2, and the show is low and needs the sound bar at 20.

Second, the show often desync sound and image. I have to restart my device every time. Sometime, multiple time the same day.

I swear to god within the span of 10 minutes 3 ads played, we thought it was over and the show would be back on, and then the same 3 ads played again. This has happened way too many times and half the time once the ads are done the show will just not play and it'll show a black loading screen and you have to exit the app, turn off the tv, and turn it back on again to get it to work. And then when you open the app again you get those same 3 ads again. Oh my god. Other streaming services do not do this. These glitches gotta get fixed to make the fee actually worth it.

Not even worth one star. We timed it and the basic subscription will show you no more than nine minutes of a show without making you watch three thirty second ads. There are constant error messages that you can only getting around by logging out and looking back in and then you’ll immediately be shown ninety more seconds of ads first. This service should be illegal. We cancelled nearly instantly.

Total rip off. Legendary.

The ads are played literally twice as loud as the content. So be prepared for blown speakers and angry neighbors.

That’s if the ads ever end. They say 3 ads, and count down.. then when the 3 ads have played, 3 more begin. This could happen several times in a row.

Then after the ads have finally stopped, your speakers and eardrums are blown and your neighbors are angry…. It freezes. Like clockwork, it freezes after every single ad. No exceptions. If you pay double and “go ad free”, it STILL freezes and glitches every single time an ad would have played otherwise.

You can’t rewind it and watch what you missed without the glitches either. If you dare try, you’ll be stuck in the ad loop again.

Shows not loading on smart Tvs, streaming issues and horrible customer service.

DO NOT trust CRAVE! They have major tech glitches where you cannot access or see content and they lead you to FAQs rather than provide assistance. Just try calling their customer service number.. IT HANGS UP ON YOU every time!! I waited for 30 minutes to speak with an agent on the CHAT then another 30 minutes for Carlo James to look into the issue. I already canceled my subscription yet CRAVE continues to charge my card and take monthly payments. This is ILLEGAL! They will not issue a refund for the charges processed AFTER I canceled my account. Their actual solution was to honour the cancelation of y CRAVE service but still charge me without any refunds. How is this a solution!? You want me to pay for a horrible platform that doesn't work after I have confirmed a cancelation!? They have put me in a lose, lose situation

Expensive subscription, every 5 min coming 3 adds …. It’s not possible to watch something…. With adds cost 12,50 but services is too poor…. Very often after one episode coming black screen.

If I could give a negative point for Crave I would. Some of the commercials as super loud, almost 3 times the volume of the regular programming. This is completely annoying and if this subscription would not be free with my Bell internet, I would never pay for Crave.
To the team at Crave, please have all commercials at the same sound level as the programming.

Unless you keep watching , as soon as stop , when come back to watch , there is no way to find where you at on last episode, the app give you no choose ,, no way can chose any episode…… anyway
