Got the tool I had been researching for a great price, shipped quickly with tracking provided, packaged well, delivered and functioned, as intended/described, out of the box. Very pleased and pleasantly surprised since was not familiar with company item was purchased from. Highly recommended.

I bought a "renewed" DeWalt cordless trim nailer at a great discount to the new tool price. It arrived in a few days, as promised, via UPS. The tool was sent in a nondescript cardboard box. The tool itself was in perfect condition, indistinguishable from a brand new tool, and is functioning perfectly.

Overall a decent experience. Their shipping was pretty fast, and packaged well. The prices were better for what I was ordering than they were at home depot. I was disappointed though that I could not use my promo codes for my first time order, and also for signing up for text messages.

The equipment was amazing and delivery was fast and efficient.

I purchased many Makita tools from CPO over the past 10+ years. I have purchased a number of new tools as well as reconditioned ones. Only once did I receive a tool (a Paslode 16 G) that was obviously "well" used. It even had the owners initials carved in it. CPO promptly replaced it with another reconditioned "like new" one. I have used that gun extensively for the past 5+ years. I just ordered another three Makita items (fan, string trimmer, and air Staple gun). The staple gun is reconditioned and like new. Very satisfied.

We otdered neq filters for our shop vac and the wrong item (the same wrong item) shipped twice. What we ordered is a tubular filter as pictured on the website, with the proper item number for our replacement, but what comes is a flat filter, with a different number. Who or whatever is retrieving our item is getting the wrong thing. After the forst time we were told it was in stock, re-ordered it, i took the wrong item to UPS for return, only go have it happen again. Ugh.

I purchased a Husqvarna product from CPO Outlets that was defective on first use. Their website advertises a “120-day money back guarantee – no questions asked,” but when I tried to return the item, customer service refused due to an internal “no returns if fueled” policy.

This restriction was not disclosed at the time of purchase and is not mentioned in the guarantee itself. The defect could not be discovered without fueling the unit, as required by the manufacturer’s startup instructions. Instead of honoring their guarantee, I was told to contact the manufacturer directly, which is a violation of the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act and shifts the seller’s legal obligations onto the customer.

If you are buying reconditioned or gas-powered equipment from CPO Outlets, be aware that this hidden policy may leave you stuck with a defective product despite their advertised guarantee.

After connecting with the correct people, I was able to get a refund in full, however, due to the policy I believe the review should stay.
