I had thousands of transactions that didn't have a buy price because they were either on chain transactions or were transferred between platforms. They were able to get those transactions the necessary data so that I didn't have to pay extra tax on those transactions. I'm very happy with the outcome because , in my tax bracket, I would've owed around $100,000 in taxes according to the new crypto tax laws.

On-chain transactions and transfers between platforms are exactly the kind of data gaps that create phantom taxable events if left unresolved, since the cost basis has to be traced back to the original acquisition rather than treated as a purchase at market price. Count defi did my crypto taxes this year. I am deeply impressed with their 7 step process paying attention to each and every transaction and they were really exceptional. Also they were very generous to comply with my request to give tax details for previous 2 years involving loss of BTC due to hacking. They have a high degree of consideration to customer needs. A Great Experience!
I've used other tax services in the past and ended up with a mess. CountDefi is great! They combed through 10 years and found my transactions on the blockchain and, of course ended up with all of the correct data. They're more expensive, but definitely worth it!
