I had a great experience working with CountDeFi and would highly recommend their services to anyone needing help with crypto tax reporting. Their customer service was excellent throughout the entire process. They always responded to my emails, patiently addressed my questions, and helped me work through an issue I was having with an exchange.
I had several thousand transactions that needed to be reconciled, which was a big undertaking. CountDeFi handled the process professionally and had my final report back to me just a couple of days after I submitted all my information. I was very impressed with their efficiency, communication, and attention to detail.
Everyone I dealt with was professional, polite, and helpful. It was reassuring to work with a team that took the time to answer my questions and help resolve problems along the way. Overall, they did an excellent job, and I’m very satisfied with the service I received. My reports were carefully considered. I was not just part of an automated pipeline.
They made an effort to understand my precise situation and they responded extremely quickly to corrections and questions. They didn't seem to indicate a revision fatigue but kept returning answers and data as I requested.

Cleared up my IRS CP2000 notice
I received a CP2000 from the IRS for the 2024 tax year. The letter stated that I owed over $20,000 in back taxes, penalties and interest because I had little over $60,000 of crypto sales that had no cost basis. I decided to get some help, hired CountDefi and they had cost basis for all my transactions in little over week. Very professional and responsive. I will use them again to track my crypto transactions so I don’t end up with another notice from the IRS!

I choose CountDeFi due to their professed familiarity with complex DeFi transactions, and was completely shocked to what degree they in fact not only met my lofty expectations but exceeded them considerably. Before encountering CountDeFi, I continued to marvel at how much continues to be beyond the capability of some of the online automated crypto tax software companies, as helpful as such web-based services can be. I often thought to myself that the only way that the automatic online websites could possibly be right was if someone only did transactions on exchanges, and even then, the sometimes faulty APIs and incomplete reporting of the exchanges makes it not always as easy as it should be. Many of the DeFi transactions I had done were admittedly very esoteric and until I met CountDeFi I thought that no one would even comprehend what had actually occurred. In contrast to these outsized fears, I thought CountDeFi did a very commendable and systematic reckoning that was maximally comprehensive in my opinion and rendered values that proved to be immensely useful for needed accuracy in tax reporting. In so many words, they walked the walk in addition to talking the talk. They also provide rich detail with respect to the basis of their determinations and their philosophical and logical foundations of their analysis with technocratic precision. I assign a high degree of confidence in their determinations and they provide extraordinary value for the price in terms of the very high quality superlative net product they deliver to the client.
