i have Purchased with them 13 items, and all are not working now. All my customers' websites are down. I requested a dispute only for 2 items, but they sent an email saying that I have to cancel the dispute with PayPal for access to my account, and now they have locked my account.

they're a scam website. misleading scripts with intent to deceive buyers, and when you buy its only then you find out all the extras you have to buy for simple feature that should be included anyway. when i requested a refund from them they made it clear that its down to the author to agree to that. so i disputed the claim with paypal when i read up CC's reviews and found they dont issue refunds. since i opened the case i got emailed by envato telling me to close my claims or my account stays locked, and ive bought from them before which will be unusable to me if i keep the claims. if i did did close the claim i have no buyer protection and with them known to not issue refunds thatll leave me in a bad situation. stay away from this company avoid if you can. sady its a case of trustpilot manipulation with 1.5/5 the only legit reviews are the bad. the good are bots.

They still haven't replied to my PayPal disputes due by December 17th. They are scum.

PayPal closed the cases in my favour and refunded me. They never did reply.

Habe den Veranstaltungskalender gekauft und viele Probleme gehabt den zum laufen zu bringen. Habe mich an den Support gewannt und mir wurde hier super geholfen und auch die Fehler die da waren gezeigt. Bei den neuen PHP Version hat sich leider wieder sehr viel getan und altes wird einfach als Fehler abgestuft. Ich kann nur gutes Berichten und werde auch wieder wenn ich was brauche hier kaufen.

Just Spent months on developing a great SAAS product. With quality code, documentation, UI, etc and they rejected it without providing any solid reason.

I filed a complaint to get a refund but they refused and told me the problem is in the PHP version you are working with

Erstmal vorweg, CodeCanyon scheint selber ein Teil von Envato zu sein, und wie der Rest von Envato ist, kann ich nicht beurteilen, weil ich bisher nur in CodeCanyon von Envato tätig bin.

Also, ich bin auch Käufer und Autor von CodeCanyon. Diese Bewertung richtet sich ausschließlich an CodeCanyon. Nachdem ich schon mehrere CMS-/PHP-Produkte über CodeCanyon gekauft hatte, welche übrigens super liefen (der Support der Autoren war auch bisher echt toll), wollte ich meine App, welche ich alleine schon seit ca. 2 Jahren programmiere und welche auch zuverlässig und super läuft, ebenfalls dort anbieten. Was soll ich sagen: Alles hochgeladen und zwei Tage später bekomme ich die Meldung, dass es abgelehnt wurde, keine Möglichkeit, Envato-CodeCanyon zu kontaktieren und auch keinerlei Gründe hierfür angegeben. Beim Microsoft-Partner-Center hatte ich bisher noch den größten Erfolg (fehlt nur noch ein Code Zertifikat). Fazit: CodeCanyon ist mies, die Autoren sind es nicht. Und wenn eine Lizenz nicht wieder aktiviert werden kann, so heißt das, dass die Programmierer das versäumt haben, mit einzubauen. CodeCanyon von Envato besitzt selber leider keinerlei dieser Funktionen. Es ist die Aufgabe der Entwickler, sich darum zu kümmern. Falls jemand ein Problem damit hat, kann er sich wenigstens wegen der Aktivierung bei dem jeweiligen Autor melden. Meist wird ihm/ihr dann auch geholfen.

Was die Preise angeht, so kann jeder Autor selbst bestimmen, wie hoch der Preis ist. Envato selbst verlangt 2 $, was nicht wirklich hoch ist, wenn man bedenkt, dass manche Produkte über 100 $ kosten.

Ein Beispiel Martfury CMS kostet insgesamt 349$ und alle Plugins sind auch noch kostenlos, xt: Commerce kostet dagegen 499€, ebenfalls für eine Domain. Bei den Plugins müsst ihr nur etwas aufpassen. Wenn ihr ein absolut zuverlässiges System wollt, so würde ich die Plugins der Drittanbieter weglassen.
Und bei WordPress zahlt ihr für die allerkleinste Funktion.

PS. Es wäre hilfreich, wenn das Uploadlimit höher wäre. So muss ich, falls es doch noch klappt, lediglich meine 32 Bit Anwendung beifügen, anstatt einer 32 Bit & einer 64 Bit Anwendung, was Nutzern mit einem 64 Bit Rechner eine schlechtere Performance zu schulden hat.

They have scammed me a lot of money and they do not want to return it to me, their company is a fraud, they sell you damaged scripts and then force you to pay more money for supposed repairs and updates, it is a fraudulent practice and a scam because if you are not willing to spend that money or you don't have it, you lose the money from your initial purchase, this scam is the one used by envato developers and sellers

I’ve had a very disappointing experience with CodeCanyon. After leaving a 1-star review for a product, I noticed my negative feedback was removed. Despite multiple attempts to repost it, my account was eventually suspended. I’ve purchased 5-6 products from CodeCanyon, and the quality has been consistently poor. This experience has left me seriously considering taking legal action. The customer support is the worst I’ve encountered, and the behaviour of some authors feels very much like a scam.

I've had a frustrating experience with Codecanyon's review moderation system. It’s disappointing to see that negative feedback, which is crucial for maintaining transparency and helping future buyers, is being deleted rather than addressed. I expected better from a platform that claims to prioritize customer satisfaction.

The description of the product was deceptive. It was basically the same product I had with a different name and version number. So when I purchased it I expected it to have all these upgrades. It did not. I have asked for a refund, supplied all the documentation they asked for but no refund. I built websites for small business and have used code canyon several times in the past but will not use them again and will not recommend them to anyone else. They are deceptive and do not give refunds even after you have supplied all the information they asked for. Very dishonest.

I didn’t need support, I just need a bugfree product, sold as lifetime support and update in author profile. Guess what?
I think authors are creating buggy products to get more aupport renew. Envato, or CodaCanyon know and supports this. Evidenced by the negative request refund recieved by the support guy “Jack” from Mexico. So far said, void any interactions. Waiste of money and time…

I wish I could have seen all these reviews before. I can confirm that CodeCanyon sells buggy codes from fraud authors. In my case it was their Elite Author - Youzify (formerly Youzer) along with few others from India. The worst thing about CodeCanyon is that they are encouraging fraud authors to sell broken items on their platform by letting them manipulate their review system very easily. All they need to do is to offer you a refund for broken item. Once you take it, your negative review will disappear and only postive reviews will remain (if there are any) which makes new potential buyers think that the item is good even if it isn't. Even if you don't accept a refund from the author, your negative review will be removed anyway after some time. If you leave a negative review again, you will be threatened with having your account restricted which, again, makes their review system totally pointless for buyers. This company needs serious improvement with their review system and they should also test every single item thoroughly before putting it on sale to save people from headache. I would definitely NOT recommend this company to anyone!

This experience has left me deeply dissatisfied and disillusioned with CodeCanyon as a platform. Not only did they allow a poor-quality script to be sold on their marketplace, but they also failed to uphold their end of the transaction by refusing to issue a refund or provide adequate support.

In conclusion, I would caution others against relying on CodeCanyon for their script and software needs. The risk of encountering subpar products and lackluster customer service far outweighs any potential benefits. Until CodeCanyon addresses these issues and improves their refund policies and support systems, I cannot in good conscience recommend them to others.

Save yourself the hassle and frustration – look elsewhere for your script and software solutions.

Ordered a wordpress plugin to export/import the products. The plugin is horrible and not work at all. after fixing it, it doesnt import the images of product. It import the title, description... only, it import the product without images so it's useless.
I contacted the seller explaining him that the plugin is useless for me because it doesnt Export/import products as explained in the description, they refuse to issue a refund.
I left a bad review here for Codecanyon because they keep these scammers selling their products.
if they did not issue a full refund I will open a paypal dispute against Envato.
It's already 6 days but no response from Envato. I think I should open dispute on Paypal.

J'ai acheté plusieurs scripts sur codecanyon evento. Aucun ne fonctionnait Scripts lourds et impossibles à installer parce que la plupart du temps il n'y a pas d'installation tout simplement ni docs. En cas de problème vous perdez votre investissement. A éviter.

An illegal company that allows scammers ("sellers") to take your money by selling you broken software and don't get you a refund for your purchases after hundreds of complaints from different customers since they get a commission from the sales, therefore, they are partners in crime.
