At first, I didn't anticipate getting a response from CITA within 48 hours because it was the weekend. But to my pleasant surprise, the local representative promptly answered my call and transferred me to a support personnel named Ryan in the UK. Another unexpected thing was that Ryan immediately started communicating with me and assured me that we would work together to resolve the issue. Not only I liked his confidence but his positive approach to the matter was remarkable. He updated the charger and provided such clear instructions that I believe even a 5 grader can work with this guy. I am so impressed with Ryan especially his patience while fixing my problem. I contacted several EV chargers suppliers before choosing CITA EV and I don’t regret. Excellent end to end service. The actual charger looks very smart and sleek, application friendly to use. We only had a tiny issue with the delivery time.

I have had the most appalling customer service from this company.
They sold their units via a uk Partner who in turn contracted the installation with an electrical company. The cost of the units where paid for and the grant was collected, however CITA states a year later they where not paid for the units by their business partner!!!
The end result myself as the end user has had two of our units disconnected from the network despite the fact we have paid for them. It has taken six months before CITA tried to reconnect the unit with apologies finding there is a technical fault with both units now they refuse to replace the units, saying that given time they will fix them, and they will not replace them as their business partner has not paid for them!!!
I spent an hour trying to fix them with an engineer today, resulting in getting wet in the rain and still no units working.
I have been working with the uk office based in Scotland and had nothing but mixed promises still leaving me without a working solution, looking like I simply have to ask the electrical contractor to fit two reputable units from a reliable company! At a further cost to myself.

I would not recommend anyone deals with this company unless you are happy to be disappointed like I have been.

In terms of customer service they are appalling !!!

I can’t comment on the units as they have not worked for six months !!!

As for the three year warrentee this is not worth the paper it is written on as there is no uk engineers relying on the good will of the installer to resolve a problem with no back up from the company as they have no intention or replacing faulty units!!!

These units have now been repaired and have been working since September 2023. It transpires that the fault was caused by an issues caused with the software following the unit’s being taken offline by CITA. Only time will tell if these units will continue to work through the warrantee period. Unsure who will support them physically in the UK should there be a mechanical failure as the only support is phone support from abroad !
