I got a faulty product
I’ll be riding alone, connected, listening to music and the radio will randomly turn on without anything being touched.
I’ll be riding with my partner and when we are connected we can speak and listen to music , but as soon as our friend connects , they can listen to music and talk but I disconnect from the cardo app and cannot listen to music
It honestly looks like I got a dud
Better then Sena, but…
I like my Cardo Edge. It’s easier to set up and use then Sena, and it will allow the use of Siri voice commands. However it is limited with its Bluetooth connectivity. I can only use Siri voice commands if I only pair the headset to the iPhone. Even though Cardo Edge has a dedicated bike and GPS channels. If I try and pair the headset to the Garmin and or my 23 GS TFT, I lose the ability to use voice calls with Siri and also listen to music. I’ve contacted Cardo and did not get an acceptable solution. I’ve tried dozens of possible paring configurations. In the end it comes down to the simplest pairing of headset to iPhone.
Also the speaker volume is low. I checked to make sure the audio was NOT on auto volume. The loudness with No Noise earplugs is just low.
Over all I still believe it to be a superior system over the alternative.
I have yet to test the mess intercom.
perfect replacement for Cardo Packtalk Black/Bold
I purchased a replacement mounting base, which provides a docking cradle for the cardo unit and also the audio connections to the helmet mic and speakers. My original baseplate developed problems in the speaker wiring connection, and this replacement part was just what was needed to fix my issues. This was at a very economical price when I ordered it, as compaerd to the 2nd Helmet Kit that I was considering before learning this item was available. Great product, and I am happy with my order. Highly recommended!
No Help from Carlo’s ( so called ) Service Center
Purchased a Packtalk Neo but it didn’t come with the manual as stated in the included items list but instead had 2 copies of their pocket guide. The pocket guide is useful but only when your system is already operating but no information on charging requirements, explanation of different colored lights meeting…… Plus I travel often to areas where I have no cell service so a printed manual works best for me.
Went on their website “Service issues” completed there form 5 times over the past couple weeks and still haven’t gotten any response. Called their customer service 800-488-0363 number but it’s not working. Found their non 800 # (412) 788-4533 called it and waited for 52 minutes and explained the situation and was told to find the manual on line and go to a print store to have a copy of it made myself as they don’t have any.
Now I’m worried if I really have an issue with my Cardo unit if their attention to my issue will be addressed in the same caviller way by their Disconnected number, No Reply Service website and Last thing I want to do today is be helpful employees.
I’m going back to buying Sena units from now on!
Lacking customer engagement
Well, I tried to get more info from Cardo prior to purchasing. Followed on Facebook, private messaged, and public posted as well. Crickets from Cardo, did not get any response. Called several "resellers" in my area found via Cardo website and did not find any dealers of Cardo devices that could answer my question. Customer support from Cardo seems to be lacking, not sure I will recommend Cardo to my friends/family.

liars. did not mention that I should pay $90 for the customs to receive the product while I’ve already paid around 400 CAD. also it does not connect with other bluetooth or intercom services. there is no actual person to provide information or support. wanted to refund it immidiately but guess what, I had to pay the shipment and customs again :) so I couldn’t send it back. so unhappy with my purchase. do not recommend.

I tried to order the edge phones with the Valentine discount. The website would not let it happen said I used it before, so I tried to use my ID me it said the same at the top of the page and would not let me order I tried calling several times about 10 got no answer
The function buttons are not intuitive
The function buttons are not intuitive. Turning on and off almost always requires a fellow rider to push the combination of buttons while the helmet is still on. Need buttons to work with gloves on. In contrast, the volume roller is fine, as gloves work to adjust it.
