Delivery wasnn no to attempted item was sent back by DPD and Brompton have not replied to my query

Spares ordered and arrived quickly.

My first Brompton and my first time buying directly from the manufacturer. Given Brompton’s heritage and reputation, I expected the purchase to feel like a premium experience.

Unfortunately, the delivery process let things down. The courier was late, although that is not Brompton’s fault. However, when my new Brompton G Line arrived, the box had been opened and the chain was not routed correctly. I also discovered the chainring was bent, which meant the bike was not rideable.

I contacted Brompton customer support and they agreed to send a replacement chain ring. Unfortunately, when the package arrived it only contained a chain guard, not the chain ring, which meant I was left with a defective bike for around two weeks before the correct part finally arrived.

Thankfully I have the mechanical skills to fit the replacement chainring myself, and the bike is now up and running. The bike itself is superb and rides beautifully.

That said, the experience was disappointing. For such a prestigious brand, I expected a smoother process and quicker resolution. This was my first experience dealing with Brompton and, sadly, it may be my last — which is a shame because the bike itself is excellent.

Quick dispatch of the ordered articles, well-packaged for each of the items in the order, although the box that collected all items contained quite a bit of air. The packaging material was all recyclable, with only one item packaged in plastic, the rest in paper and cardboard.

And the ColourLab items are beautiful, with solid instructions – watch the brilliant bikes videos or the ones from Brompton if you are unsure.

Customer service solved everything perfectly!

New electric G line arrived with a flat tyre. Turned out to be a slow leak on the tyre valve. Brompton sent me 2 new inner tubes, so I now have a spare. Thanks for prompt and effective service.

Perfect for travelling

I have just bought the pump and toolkit for my Brompton. Firstly, I was well informed about the delivery from start to finish and it was delivered on time which was nice. Secondly I was really impressed with the whole design of how the items were packaged up, in that the packaging was all out of quality card ( no plastic’s) and that’s good to see, but I was also impressed with the very clear, well set out and printed instructions on the packaging for each item 10/10. I shouldn’t have to even mention that the items were of excellent quality and the toolkit especially is a real gem in design and finish. Excellent.

Gave up Brompton in the US. Support is horrible and parts continuously not available.

Unfortunately, the new E-Brompton has such a weak motor, especially considering the high price – poor management.

I've ordered a few things for my Brompton and it was so easy to use and order from the website. I received the order in a few days so it's very quick and efficient as well. Highly recommended Xxxxx

very portable. you are given the opportunity to cycle in a whole different experience.From Going around the city and going through places where bikes can't normally taken inside feels so surreal. Consider this an everyday partner. Not a bike.
