The Britannia Coin Company Anmeldelser

Fast and efficient service. Everything I would expect from this respected company. Thank you.

Purchased a set of proof coins in executive box. Arrived on time as promised. As described. Well packaged on tracked. Had a query and customer service was excellent 👍

Very quick delivery good service

I have used Britannia Coin Company before and, as previously, my item was dispatched very promptly and is of high quality. They stock limited edition coins that are hard to find or have sold out elsewhere and in my opinion their prices for these are fair and reasonable. I am happy to use this company

It was easy to order, it arrived quite quickly and was in perfect condition. It was bought as a gift and the recipient loved it.

I have purchased from The Britannia Coin Company on several occasions and have always found that they have a good range of coins on offer at competitive prices. The coins arrive in excellent condition and arrive within the stated timescale. A good company to deal with.

By far the worst gold coin company I have seen.
Expect your orders to be late, terrible customer service with staff that lacks any intelligence or standards.
They also stop replying once you ask for a complaint procedure.

My reply:
It’s false that you have worked with me to resolve the complaint. Your promised an update on the complaint which never happened. You also failed to supply me with the call recordings that proves your staff lying on the phone.
My last email to max was over a month ago (16/05/2025) yet it remains unanswered. This shows your dishonesty in claiming that you have worked with me to resolve the complaint.

Excellent service, orderd late on a Friday afternoon, spoke to customer service very friendly and helpful, price of the coin was very reasonable as well
My coin was with me on the wensday morning very well packaged
Definitely would deal with this company again
Thank you for a quick and easy transaction

I ordered for delivery to France and the service is perfect from start to finish. The order confirmation, payment and tracking of the shipment is done very well. A big thank you in particular to Chantelle who is very responsive with very professional communication. I highly recommend this company that I discovered on the internet and YouTube. In the future, I will order again here with this trusted site.

Excellent service. 24 hour delivery. Easy buying process. ALL thanks to Chantelle. Hopefully she will remember my name this time. Can not fault this company. We be buying again of them.

Found this company via the YouTube channel and Christopher Collects who is employed by the company. I am happy with the coins delivered but I found the prices a tad steep. Even the highest mintage £2 coins have a substantial mark up. Had I conducted a more thorough research on comparable sites, I may have hesitated to pay such prices. I am hoping that in a few years time there may be some profit should I care to sell

Fantastic service, quick, efficient and delivered as promised. Goods were as advertised and when I had a query Chantelle at customer services was brilliant! Really helpful and prompt with her correspondence. 5* service and product would definitely recommend. Thanks BCC

Wanted to sell some old silver coins that had been in my house for a number of years. Found the BCC valuation process very simple and after sending coins by Special Delivery the agreed amount arrived in my bank account the following day. Very impressive.

good communications and no nast surprise fees as with some auction sites, fast all round and even a coffee but no biscuits! ,, will deal with again ,,recommended

Used BCC the other day as I wanted to sell some old coins. Obtained a rough valuation online, sent my coins to them, we agreed a final valuation and the funds were in my account within a few hours. An excellent and speedy service. Will definitely use again, a lot less hassle than selling privately or through an auction.

I have now used BCC twice to sell some coins. On both occasions their response was quick and their valuation more than fair. Payment was prompt. I can certainly recommend them and will use them in the future.

BCC website was easy to use and I obtained a rough valuation of my coins (ranging from gold sovereigns to 19th century very worn silver) from it. I sent my coins to BCC by Royal Mail Special Delivery on Thursday and received an acceptable valuation by email the next day, which I accepted over the weekend. I was paid by BACS on the following Monday. So fast and efficient, I thoroughly recommend BCC!

I haven't ordered online from Britannia, but I did make the effort of visiting their location in Wootton Bassett about eighteen months back. I was underwhelmed to say the least.

I'd imagined a proper coin dealer, but there's a tiny section of coins, and the rest of the store is basically antiques and junk.

I stayed in there for about ten or fifteen minutes, and despite it being obvious I was interested in looking at the coins, the guy at the counter showed no interest and continued chatting up some woman instead.

I was also unimpressed with the scammy way they ran their prize draw for the 1kg gold James Bond coin a year or two back. While it may have all been above board, they didn't do a great job at giving confidence in the draw's integrity.

So, no comment on whether they're trustworthy, or whatever, as I haven't actually purchased anything from them, but I would be reluctant to make it the first place I'd go for coins.

They seem to do an amazing job at getting their website top of the search engines, and if you can get past the the boring gumph they pad their YouTube videos with, occasionally there's something useful to learn.

Their website gives the impression of a very legit' business, but I think the website is far more impressive than the reality. Suffice to say that getting good search engine results and having a nice website don't necessarily mean a thing.

I'd like to be able to have confidence in them, as their prices often seem quite good, but I think I'd feel more comfortable paying a bit more at a more established and reputable dealer.
