A very good operation
A very good outfit where I sold coins, scrap silver and gold in person. I found them to offer transparent prices, and their staff to be patient, professional, and highly knowledgeable. Unlike many scrap gold operations, they took the time to identify/test the various carats in the gold jewellery, and importantly, paid fair prices in accordance with the carat of the gold - rather than just weighing it all and offering a single price for "the lot" as I have seen others do. Swift and accurate payment received in bank account within 3 hours of the deal being done. Should I have coins/gold/silver to sell again, this company would be my first port of call, without hesitation.

After an issue with Italian customs clearance—apparently some documents were missing (which I did send, but there was no follow-up)—the company took the initiative to send me another coin via DHL courier. The shipment was extremely fast and arrived at its destination in 3 business days. I have no choice but to revise my review and give it a well-deserved 5 stars.

We are sorry that your order has been delayed by customs. Our records show that the correct documentation was supplied with the shipment, although we are aware of other coin sellers experiencing similar difficulties with parcels sent to Italy.
Given your experience, we will be reviewing both the carrier we use for orders to Italy and our procedures for providing order information and any additional documentation as quickly as possible. I recognise that you did not receive the information you needed in response to your first email, and I apologise for this.
My colleague Jo has been in direct contact with you and has arranged for another 1999 Rugby £2 BU coin to be sent via a different carrier. This should reach you shortly. If the original parcel is subsequently released by customs and also arrives, you are very welcome to keep both coins.
I appreciate that this has been a frustrating experience, but I hope we are able to resolve the matter to your satisfaction. We take customer service and the reliable delivery of international orders very seriously, and we are doing everything we can to reduce the risk of other customers encountering the same difficulties in future.

Able to source coins which otherwise would be problematical, once payment made, as there was a slight problem getting payment on this occasion made, item dispatched straightaway and was very well packaged to protect item, and sent Royal Mail 48 hrs Tracked. Would willingly recommend.
