Do not EVER under ANY circumstances use this company. Bridgeview advertises that they will take the stress out of your move. Renting camels to personally haul your household goods across the country would be less stressful than dealing with this horrible failure of a company. I can’t begin to write down all the issues we had with them, but here’s some highlights:

They demand 50% non-refundable down payment before doing anything. The week before they pick up your stuff they call you to tell you they most likely underestimated how much space you will need and you need to pay more money. But don’t worry, you’ll only end up paying for what you actually use (spoiler, you magically end up using exactly what they fleeced you for in this call). After pickup they demand another 25% of the payment, then tell you on delivery they will not accept the same method of payment you were using, and will not release your stuff until you figure out how to pay this new way. This includes cash or money order or some shady internet payment methods that your bank will not guarantee will actually work. So you get Western Union money orders only to be told they don’t accept THOSE money orders and you can’t talk to their manager because they just left the office. After spending a sleepless night trying to figure out how to get your money back on your money orders (an impossible task in itself) you find out that they were wrong and they DO accept those money orders.

Then when it comes time to have your stuff delivered in the 7-10 days timeframe (more likely 7 days, they tell you) they never call or show up. So you call them to find out your stuff is still sitting on a truck somewhere and isn’t scheduled to START to be moved for another 4 days. After 4 days you spend all day trying to get someone on the phone and when you finally do they tell you you are lying and they never told you that it was going to be transported that day and it will be ANOTHER 5 days before they START to transport your stuff. Why are you so upset? A mere 3 week’s wait sleeping on air mattresses in an empty house is clearly well within their NEW made-up timeline of 7-14 BUSINESS days. 

Then once they finally decide to ship your stuff, you get to play the game of trying to pay them the last 25% so they will actually unload it. The day before it is set to arrive they call to say that now suddenly they change their mind and refuse to accept cash! Then when they do arrive their office tells you AGAIN that Western Union money orders are not accepted! When you tell them that you’ve verified that they would accept it many, many times over the last MONTH that they’ve held your stuff hostage, including just the day prior, they once again call you a liar and say it never happened and you were always advised against them. And oops! you have stairs. They’ve known that for 2 months, but now decide to tell you you owe MORE money because of it.

I'm currently experiencing the same frustration and issues!

All previous reviews I saw had been "great", should have read between the lines.

Initial contract set up was for a total of approximately $6,000. Yesterday, a "Manager" called to go over my "items list" to find out the guy who set up the contract didn't add in the inventory "correctly"... and I had to add a few items, even after deducting two big ticket items...my "new estimate" went up approximately $3,000... And had to pay "ANOTHER" $1,700 deposit.

Don't believe this company!!! I do not care what they say...they LIE! I took, gave measurements of most of my random items and they still couldn't get the inventory correct!

Company needs reported to the Better Business Bureau...

Again... They are deceitful! I do not care how many "cubic feet" I'm paying for... As if anyone would no how many cubic feet worth of stuff they have. WE provide you with inventory items... INCLUDING measurements over the phone. Nick, who set up my contract said "I can't add X-LG boxes so hehe guesstimates... YES guesstimated how many "medium and small boxes it would average".

I explained all this to the rude and impatient Manager who called and then charged me..
ANOTHER deposit a couple days prior to pick up as though I planned on having several thousand more dollars lying around.

I specifically asked Nick... SO... Bridgeview is their own company with their own trucks right? It's not going to be some "random third party" contractor picking me up is it? I asked this question several days prior to my cancellation expiration date. Nick, OUTRIGHT lied... To my face, about your company being a third party contractor.

I would've cancelled my contract in a hot second if I had known the TRUTH and wasn't LIED directly to. I had a friend who was going to help me move to Michigan for approximately 4,000. You quoted me $6,000 initially. I was WILLING to not inconvenience my friend for that difference amount... HOWEVER, if I'd been given truthful, unscrupulous information regarding your company, I OF course would've opted to pay them $4,000 rather than the almost $11,000.... I'm NOW being charged. This is almost double the quoted amount, and almost triple what my friend wouldn't charged me.

You guys are unethical jerks and you basically LIED to my face so I WOULDN'T BACK OUT OF THE CONTRACT. What your company did to me was wrong on so many levels.

Your Manager lied as well when I asked him DIRECTLY after he proceeds to charge me a SECOND down payment... I asked and exactly how will I know how many cubic feet are being utilized by my transportation? Manager says, oh don't worry, all the trucks are number marked on the inside.
LIE AGAiN....but wait I have PROOF you lied so, do you want to settle this the correct way or shall i involve an attorney, now?

11/8/2023: I don't care what they "tell you", actions speak far louder than words! I was initially quoted around $6,000 for my move, I finally get to move into my new home and the total of this move has cost me over $12,000. They're most common practice is called bait and switch. Do NOT, I repeat do not sign a contract with them as you have no other recourse other than arbitration...
Meaning technically if you're screwed over you cannot sue them or file a civil suit.... So a word of caution if you deal with this company you will be the one who gets screwed!

Worst moving company I ever hired. I have been relocated to Maryland from California. Initial contract was $3000 but I ended up paying almost $6000. After delivering my stuffs, one of my furniture had several damage and there were 3 expensive items. They wont take responsible about it, they tell you that you have to deal with the third party movers company. I don't even know why I hired them.

I recently moved from Washington to Georgia for work and I hired Bridgeview as my movers. Everything went great, the movers were friendly and experienced, the only thing is they were a few hours late so they didn’t finish till evening time. Other than that it was wonderful, I would certainly recommend them for anyone moving long distance

Using this moving company was a nightmare. Even though our address was correct on BOL they put us on a route going 3100 miles and we were only going 524. I had them change that 5 times. Our quote went from 4200.00 to 6200.00 and then when truck showed up and loaded they asked for 1800.00 more because even though I made an exact inventory list they didn’t want it and the quality assurance manager told me to pad my box count and I would be just fine. Well 1800.00 extra after they loaded truck proved he was incorrect. We were going to CA from OR and we got put on east coast route and took 15 days to go one state over. The morning they delivered they called and said I needed to wire 1200.00 for shuttle truck or I would not get my stuff. A shuttle truck was not needed. I have all kinds of proof to that effect. When they did finally show up that evening they brought nothing inside. One mover said he had contagions animals at home so since we had a cat he couldn’t help us. My total for 524 miles and half a 26’ truck worth of stuff was 9200.00. The morning after our stuff arrived we started going through ever. I have missing furniture. Have damaged furniture. Scratched furniture. Broken furniture. I have filed a claim with company. They are using new logistics companies who aren’t vetted. When you call the message says mailbox full and hangs up on you. Calling the moving company itself got me nowhere. I have filed complaints with Fcms, BBB and plan to file complaints with US DOT and DOT in each state. Please save yourself a nightmare and do not use this company or their logistics company RADO express logistics. Some people at the company were so aggressive I asked to deal with managers. Just really a awful, depressing, discouraging and downright bad experience.

Wish I had of read the reviews first. I used this company. Horrible experience. My price doubled once the Infinity moving company arrived. And this company took 2 months to deliver my belongings. No communication. Bridgeview lied and said that my belongings had been dispatched when they actually had not been. They must not actually know the movers as they had implied, unable to reach the movers for any clarification.

I was very disappointed all the way around with this company!! We made reservations a month early. And was told it will be 15,000. With 3 payments, we payed the first payment. So much went wrong I’m just going to list it
*they didn’t call when they said they would
*they scheduled pick up on Sunday knowing they don’t work Sunday.
* I had 4 different contracts, they send you one then after you sign they change what it says. Even the guys moving had a different contract.
*I have a lot of my things were broke and damaged.
* they changed the amount of money owed many times. Continued to tell us that we owe more money. 15,000 to 18,000 to 23,000
To 25,000.
* we had less than 24 hours to come up with all the money.
* I called the office manager many times she blamed me for everything and just didn’t care I asked to talk to the owner many times. Refused to let me talk to him she said it’s not important enough for him to deal with.
*they charged by the box, the footage used on the truck, they packed empty boxes, when confronted the answer was so what’s the big deal.
* they wrap paper towels and packed them but not computers or speakers or mirrors
* most of the boxes was damaged cause they didn’t fill them
* I had a delivery for my dogs food the day of packing day. I received an email saying it was delivered and when asked the workers about it they said it was by the door then someone else said they packed it on the truck. So I had to go out and buy more food cause they couldn’t find it.
* I told the worker in charge that my husband had to put this light up not to have the guys pack it. He didn’t communicate this to them and they did pack it. So we then had to also go buy a new light.
* they didn’t give us the correct tucks they said they would and then charged us more money cause the truck they gave us was full
*they were supposed to take things apart and wrap it pack it deliver it, put it where I wanted it unwrap it and set it back up.
No they did not do this. They wrapped some things, they only took apart some things. Nothing is where we wanted it and nothing put back together.
* it was All very rushed, and unprofessional
* by the end of the day of delivery, I had a nervous break down and my husband made everyone leave.

How are they still in business??? Surprised nobody is doing anything to keep these type of scammers... They push you to accept their quote and keep pressing and pressing. Do not respect the customer side at all. AVOID THEM!

My husband and I hired this company, Nick, a sales rep, stated on the phone that they would be the ones completing the move, and own all their own trucks, "unlike all the other moving companies". We put a 1,200 deposit down in good faith that they would arrive on the scheduled day. In our "binding" contract, it stated they would arrive between the 6/17-6/18, but they did not show up, nor did they attempt to call us to inform us of any delay. We had to reach out to a few different people to finally get a response, when finally, the sales rep, Josh, basically said he was unsure when/if anyone would be arriving. As they did not show up, we started to become concerned about this company.

When we initially researched their company in March, they didn't have very many reviews, but the ones they had were fine. Upon further research, most of the 5 star reviews look fake (as these were the only reviews said "customers" posted), and there now are many more one star reviews, further stating that these guys are scammers, noting that customers have been strung along, no showed, items held hostage, etc. Due to them no-showing, us needing our items moved by the end of the month, and these reports from other customers, we reached out to them asking for our deposit back as they did not render any service (and more than likely, never even scheduled movers in the first place). Of course, they initially only wanted to talk to us on the phone, not in writing, but finally, we got a response stating that we would not be getting our deposit back. In the contract, although, in the bold print it gives the dates that the move will take place, in the fine print it states that these dates are not guaranteed. There are many other ridiculous and unrealistic items in the fine print that show a total lack of accountability, especially paired with the fact that they are telling customers one thing verbally while in reality its a totally different story. It's almost as though they do this intentionally.

We recognize that we should have read the fine print more carefully, though, we did not go into this deal thinking that they would be taking part in deceptive business practices--expensive lesson to learn, I guess. We figure we're getting off easier than the other customers who have had thousands of dollar increases due to this company low-balling the customers and then making backroom deals with the movers who shake the customers down once they have their belongings in hand. We hope no one else has to experience or do business with these folks, but as most scam artists do, they will probably pick up their business and move unto the next scam eventually.

Also, just a interesting side note, as we started looking at pictures this company posted of their said "fleet" of trucks, we noticed some of them looked a bit photoshopped. Upon a simple reverse Google image search, we found that to be true.

I have booked with them and nothing is as they said and they will not answer when you press their customer service button it simply repeats the recording. Are they a real business, has anyone received their items?

They replied to my review dated 30 May 2023 and stated my items would be delivered between Tuesday and Thursday of next week which would be 7 to 9 June 2023. Well, here it is the 13th of June and still no delivery. No phone calls, nothing at all. I doubt they will deliver at all and will have to litigate as they are useless to talk to and probably don't even know where my belongings are located. I basically paid thousands of dollars to have my belongings stolen or destroyed.

Bridgeview did a great job. The planning was very tight. The price was fair. The price didn’t include packing materials which added up - but that was because the movers were so careful with our furniture. The movers were professional and really efficient.

What a nightmare!! Bridgeview Scam Lines is a more appropriate name for this group of criminals. They ripped my daughter off and instead of fixing the problem they just keep telling more lies. Funny how you claim to have loaded her entire house. She paid for 40 boxes and packing and received nothing!! I spent the past weekend packing all her belongings into 30 boxes that I purchased. Now I have to load them up into Uhaul boxes and pay 1,000's more to ship them, even though we already paid Bridgeview Scam Lines to pack and ship. Maya, Francine, Crystal, and Greg, are all a bunch of professional liars who do nothing but tell lies and then disappear never to be heard from again. I only wish others would have spoken up sooner and we would have taken our business elsewhere. Now over a month later my daughter still doesn't have her belongings, we believe her belongings will never be delivered and have most likely been stolen by Bridgeview Scam Lines

My freshly bought home furnishings were successfully moved to the nineteenth story of my apartment building workers. To be quite Honest, needs persuaded me otherwise. I couldn't be more appreciative.

Unfortunately I did not do enough research re: moving interstate I took the bite from a moving company that was actually a broker The agreed upon price for my move changed the day of pick-up It was now in the hands of another Co Having paid 1/2 of the moving price to Bridgeview I had to Leave stuff a 3 sectional couch as the pick up said it was to large . Delivery was promised in 4 days it arrived after less than 24 hours notice 3 weeks later As instructed I had a certified check for the Balance They said I needed cash according to Company #3 The total Amount due was an additional $420 for What ?? Please do your Home work Do not deal with a broker use a actual mover ask questions I was the Fish They caught

I was hesitant to move with a moving company as I always pack and move myself. Very happy I did the move with Bridgeview instead this time. The movers showed up on time and my entire life’s worth of belongings got 5 states away without a scratch. Very happy thank you

I would give zero stars if that were possible. This is a scam. They will take your money and not show up. We gave them our down payment after signing a contract. We tried to get ahold of them to ask further questions and the email got bounced back as not existing. We called and they claimed it was an "I.T. issue." We tried calling the number of the guy we had spoken to. Also didn't work. We are filing a claim with the credit card company right now and hiring legit movers. They say they've been around for a long time, but they were incorporated on 12/31/22. Don't fall for this scam!!!!!!!

Beware bridgeview is a broker not the shipper. Their sole purpose to to get the highest fee for origination as this is their fee. Watch this line they will try to increase it and slide it in.
We got an estimate for 350 cubic ft. we signed that estimate. We then decided to add a refrigerator. They added on $600 for destination charges and $300 to actual move. They told us they would adjust if it was less on move day. We signed the new estimate. It was less than 350 cubic ft even with the added refrigerator. They refused to adjust the cost.
We told them repeatedly that we needed delivery in a box truck as anything bigger than that could not turn around. After the truck was loaded the shipper told us he was sending a semi. It will cost at least another $350 for a shuttle.

this service sucks. I've been waiting for more then a month for my stuff they said it would only take a few weeks at first and somehow its still not here? and I'm about to call the cops because I think they stole my stuff because every time I call them they always have an excuse saying something like the truck broke down or one of the guys said he was in California and he would get to us when he can lmao like its his time and like he paid for it and if I don't get my stuff I will report it stolen.
