non-existant customer service
I ordered a bosch series 4 dishwasher at the end of July and received it this morning. The carrot that swung me to choose bosch was the 5 year extended warranty on offer. I went online and tried registering the appliance - the website would not validate my email address. I then took the next step ROI customers please call 01 4502655. I tried that and was told to please call a new number 01 2300344. I called that number and was appalled by the poor service. The gentleman was not interested in my 5 year warranty ... he was geared to load 4 year warranties only. When asked for a referral telephone number and person in Bosch to deal with the issue, I was told to google it. Amazing service from a company such as Bosch. I will get onto the retailer to come collect the dishwasher and resolve the issues.

It is disappointing to hear that your first interactions with Bosch have been so frustrating, particularly as the five-year warranty was an important factor in your decision to purchase the dishwasher.
We are sorry that you experienced difficulties registering the appliance online and were then passed between telephone numbers when trying to resolve the issue. Being told to search online for a suitable contact is certainly not the level of assistance you should expect from our registrations team.
The adviser should have listened to your concerns regarding the five-year warranty and provided appropriate guidance, rather than leaving you feeling that your query was not of interest.
In order to assist further, I have requested some further information via the 'Find Reviewer' tool.

Great Experience with Bosch Maintenance
We recently moved into a house that had a Bosch extractor, approximately a 16 year-old. The electricity was not working properly, it was not really extracting odours nor filtering smoke and the light glass covers were broken.
I found it super easy to allocate the customer service online, book a repair through their online system.
The communication was great to confirm the maintenance booking and reminders, and providing the 2 hour slot the day before.
The engineer was an experienced person and professional. He checked the issues, proposed the solution and quoted the price. He gave excellent advise to consider fixing or replacing the extractor. He fixed the lights and ordered a new filter which arrived few days later, and I easily installed it.
The extractor is now working well along with following the advice from the engineer.
I am quite satisfied and happy with the overall experience and would highly recommend.
