Still no product and limited communication

Placed order Jan 26. Messaged Feb 3rd through email and website chat, no response. Messaged again Feb 4. Was told one product sold out, but that new stock had arrived and package would ship Thursday 5th, and I would be provided a tracking number. No tracking number provided Thursday Or Friday. Saturday no response. It’s now been almost two weeks since I placed my order and there is zero follow through, and they don’t even follow what their own shipping guidelines state on the website. I would honestly skip their prices and just buy locally.

Edit: based on response from their reply: there was no communication on your part to inform me of the delay until I reached out to you guys. And was ignored for over 24 hours, and then subsequently 48 hours. i messaged during your business hours that were posted on your website, on both email and chat. Now rather than admit a mistake, or communicate tracking information as requested, they have just deflected in their response cancelled my order behind the scenes. And honestly? I’m glad. I just hope I actually receive my refund. I have reported them to the BBB and highly suggest anyone else with similar experiences do The same.

For clarity, your order experienced a brief one-day supplier delay on a single item, which was communicated to you. At that time, you were given the option to wait for the incoming stock or receive a full refund.

We’d also like to note that several of the messages referenced were sent after business hours and over the weekend, when our team is offline. Messages received during those times are responded to on the next business day.

This was not an ignored or unfulfilled order, and communication did take place. We always aim to ship orders promptly and to keep customers informed when an unexpected delay occurs.

Do NOT shop with Blndbox! what a scam. I received a wrong item and one damaged item in my order. After I followed up, they asked me to return the order, which I did. Since then, silence. They took my money and the product back. Now I have to file a claim. Terrible business, terrible customer service. BlndBox, you are a bad business.

Poor customer service- neglected issue

My order arrived with a bottle that leaked in the box during shipping. I reached out to see what could be done and was told they don’t accept returns, but to send photos for review. Photos were sent of the wet box, the more than half empty bottle, and the product that oozed out all over the packing peanuts and other bottles. After my original email (sent Dec 24th) their response (dec 26th) and having sent photos (Dec 26th), I haven’t heard a single thing back. I sent a follow up email on Dec 31st asking if photos were received and still haven’t heard anything back since. It seems this company is fine with taking your money and not following up with issues.

As soon as we were back from the holidays, a resolution was provided directly. We understand that waiting a few extra days can be frustrating, but we believe it’s reasonable to expect some delay during statutory holidays — especially when the issue was ultimately addressed and resolved.

We’re a small team, we’re human, and we genuinely care about our customers. We always respond and work toward fair outcomes, even if timing around holidays isn’t instantaneous.

Extremely poor customer service

I was disappointed with my experience dealing with BLND BOX regarding a warranty issue.
I purchased a product sold by BLND BOX that should be covered under the manufacturer’s replacement warranty. When I encountered an issue, I contacted the manufacturer (Mint Tools), who advised that warranty claims must be handled through the place of purchase — BLND BOX.
I reached out to BLND BOX multiple times. After an initial response where they stated they would not cover the issue, they stopped responding altogether despite several follow-up attempts. At this point, they are not engaging or taking any steps to honour the replacement warranty.
What’s frustrating is that I genuinely like the product and tried to resolve the matter fairly and directly. Unfortunately, the lack of communication and support has made this a very disappointing experience. Warranty support and customer service are just as important as the product itself, and in this case, BLND BOX has fallen short.
I hope BLND BOX improves how they handle customer support and warranty claims, as this experience has impacted my trust in the company. I would not recommend.

We want to clarify that we did respond and remained engaged throughout this process. The timing of the holiday closure, along with required back-end correspondence with the supplier, unfortunately delayed our final response, which we understand was frustrating.

After reviewing the claim directly with the manufacturer, we confirmed multiple times that physical damage is not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. As the retailer, we do not manufacture this product and are required to follow the brand’s warranty guidelines, which cover electrical or functional defects only.

We always strive to respond to all customer inquiries and to handle warranty claims fairly and transparently within the parameters set by the manufacturer. While we understand this outcome was not what you were hoping for, it reflects the warranty terms set by the brand rather than a lack of support from our team.

Wish I had read these reviews sooner. Contact was unresponsive when promised same-day delivery window passed. Order arrived late with substitutes that were not approved. When “customer service” was finally reached they refused to accept accountability for the mistake and instead made excuses for the items being reasonable substitutions! Wild. Offered zero compensation for wasting my time. Furthermore attempted to garner sympathy about being a small business and having a family to feed as if their mistake wasn’t taking money out of my own families pockets 6 days before Christmas to fix their mistake. Save your time, go big box.

Deceptive policies and terrible customer service

According to their own policy, it says "if the return is a result of our error, your item will be eligible for a full refund including the shipping charges (if any)."
Beware as they don't follow that policy. It's been a back and forth this morning after they sent me the wrong item (a cheaper item at that) and are only offering to ship the replacement or charge me shipping for the initial order not meeting the free shipping threshold. It's their mistake and I won't have the time or means to accept the right product being shipped as it was intended to be a gift (for a specific date) and I'm leaving for vacation. They've been quite combative via emails that this is the only resolution they're offering despite the fact that their website says otherwise. Why are they in business if they can't read their own policies?

In this case, we did acknowledge that an incorrect item was sent and immediately offered to resolve the issue by shipping the correct item at no cost, which is our standard remedy for fulfillment errors.

Because the replacement shipment was declined on your end due to timing and travel constraints, the resolution shifted from a correction to a partial return without replacement. In those situations, the original order is recalculated based on the items ultimately kept. When the remaining order total falls below the free-shipping threshold, the original shipping cost is no longer waived. This is why shipping was discussed — not as a penalty, but as part of how refunds are calculated when an order is altered.

At no point was there an intent to substitute a lower-value item, and we regret that this experience didn’t align with expectations, particularly given the order was intended as a gift.

We appreciate the feedback and will continue refining how we communicate these situations more clearly in the future.

Pricing was Fantastic!

I was in the market for some new hair products and wanted to try some higher end ones and BlendBox had a great sale. Pricing was Fantastic so I purchased 4 items. I gave this rating a 4 Star because the shipping took 1 Week - I was hoping to get sooner. Other than that the product, and pricing was Fantastic! One product was no longer in stock and a Refund was issued automatically within 2 days. No having to call, email or track down the refund. Very professional. I was very pleased with my experience.
