Saw a bidfood van in Ryde yesterday morning and the
Van driver leant out of the window and spat on the floor.

What a filthy thing to do, it wasn't long ago we were in a Pandemic.

What shocking behaviour

No delivery, promised the earth by Laura the sales girl for West Somerset - phones permanently off and her message is 4 days out of date !

Unreliable company.

Great people to work with, money good.
Walked away on 6th September because my mental health was suffering. No contact by line manager or senior management just showing uack of care for staff

Bad drivers who are confrontational, no response from depot manager and police notified of attitude to cyclist. Refused to apologise and threatening behaviour.

I was sat on my couch awaiting a reshow of the Great escape on BFBS , then all of a sudden, BIDFOOD conducted there own remake of the Great British classic. It was great to see that this escape was more culturally diverse having a Veteran who was of Iranian decent conduct the escape . I praise BIDFOOD for its forward thinking and showing how veterans can survive in extreme circumstances.

I would not recommend working here! Bidfood Bicester.
They got a new GM who has sacked all senior managers with poor reasoning. He has replaced them with his golf buddies, whiskey amd car loving friends.
So unless you wanna play golf with him a few times a week, work 14 hours a day and get told you're not committed enough, have drivers call you up when you're at home at 11 pm....even wouldn't recommend being a driver. Lorries are unsafe and go out on the road in an illegal condition due to cost saving

Our hotel chain use this company, the food is terrible lots of complaints from guests but upper management want to keep using Bidfood as it’s cheap.
I refuse to eat the food.

Unbelievably bad. No account manager given, when you get assigned one they simply ignore their calls and emails. Then you get told they've left the business. the people in their accounts team the most condescending Karen's I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. So disorganized, terrible communication. They refuse to provide transportation temps to both business and suppliers who supply them. Any other food company is more deserving of your money.

22nd march 2023 9.19am On Marlborough Place W9. Driver reg SK68 LKU was pulled up to the side of the road, seemed like he was parked. I attempted to drive past and he drove out next to me and started verbally abusing me. I am a grandmother never ever had abuse like this, Very embarrassing for me there is no need to talk to anyone like this.

BIDFood Truck driver just pull out in front of me on A14 dual carriage way Registration SG15EVT. This is a 70MPH road, I have to brake rapidly to stop my car. Also my car is a heavy SUV it don’t just stop like small car.

Same as some other reviews, there accounts department is bad and when chasing for credits they take months and then blame other departments and still expect you to pay for stock not received. Been a customer of there’s for several years and not once have I seen or heard of an account manager. My yearly food spend is around 80k but I order mainly from Brakes as there customer service is brilliant and the account manager keeps in regular contact.

Ruppish they give food to my school and they god rid of chips and there food tastes of crap! Do not ever eat from them I think I now have food poisoning 🤮🤮🤮🤢

Honesty wouldn't bother with them, rep came to see me twice for my business was promised prices the next day then was promised prices when she came to visit at our appointment this week but didn't even turn up.

just happen to be outside in my own school grounds and the school on the other side of the road was having a delivery from bid food. When the driver had finished unloading the pallet he brought it across the road and through it on the grass verge and left it there for some other person to pick up. Phoned the company and got through to customer services and wow what a experience I think the woman's previous job was the devils PA.

The company I work for use Bidfood and they are without doubt the worst company I have ever had to use. As the catering manager for a large organisation I find their customer service to be terrible. Every single order I have received in the past 6 months has been missing items and I find myself constantly chasing them up to fulfil my orders.
If you send an order off using the wrong form they simply say they won’t process the order until they receive the correct form.

I really miss Vestey Foods who i highly recommend.

An aggressive Bidfood driver drove into the rear of my vehicle deliberately in Blackheath. With the insurers now but doesn't reflect well.

Crash! Bang! Clatter! Woken up at 6am by Bidfood truck driver unloading items for Cheam High School in residential street rather than at school gate. Driver claimed that he was not able to turn truck into school because of parked cars and became confrontational, bordering on aggressive, when I pointed out that his colleagues managed to get their truck in without any issues and the cars were parked in the same locations every day. I believe that he unloaded in the street because it was more convenient for him and clearly didn’t care about how many people he woke up in the process. Later review of CCTV showed that he made no attempt to enter school. Inconsiderate!

Been using bidfood as a chef within a small pub chain in Liverpool the past three years. Almost every order we place there is produce missing, products unavailable or the driver leaves without delivering the full order.
There have been a number of times recently that we have not received are order on the delivery date due to them not having enough drivers.

Horrendous customer service!! Customer for 3 years and then dropped because its apparently its not worth it to them anymore and then all my customer details removed?! Makes me so angry that you can get away with treating people like this, if I did I wouldn't have a business to run, and neither should you. AVOID !!

Absolute joke of a company dealt with them for 15 years stopped ringing us emailed no answer when I phoned them I was told they could no longer deliver to me apparently aylesbury is to far from bicester not even told of this before getting in touch with them avoid like the plague
