Brittany Trotman made the entire insurance process incredibly easy and comfortable. RUN AWAY AND DO NOT LOOK BACK!!!
I wish I could leave negative stars. After requesting cancellation online I was notified that I failed to reply to a follow-up Email requesting cancellation so the request was not processed. When I found out about this on July 2nd I called customer service. I finally was able to speak to the rep who confirmed that they have record of my online request, but that they had not received the reply to the Emails so the cancellation was not processed. I clearly stated my intent to cancel the policy, completed their Email request, and had the customer service agent confirm that they have received my request to cancel. This morning I received another Email stating that my policy was past due and was at risk of cancellation due to non-payment. I called again and waited another 30 minutes to speak with another rep that stated that the system still shows my policy effective until7/28 at which point it will be cancelled due to NON PAYMENT.. I was told that my REQUEST to cancel my policy was directed to the retention and cancellation team and it may take up to two weeks for a response. Can they refuse to cancel my policy after I request it be closed? I dont think so, why the wait? Why are they still processing invoices against a policy that has been cancelled? BTW, the only reason it is now in non-payment status, is because I cancelled the auto pay when I cancelled my account in June. Otherwise, BiBerk would have kept pulling premium payments while they slow walk and delay cancellation requests. I can only imagine if I actually tried to file a claim with these thieves. They are crooks and are not to be trusted with such serious business as insurance.

The only star it gets is for being decently priced for insurance coverage. That's where the positives end. I have tried multiple times to cancel my policy, followed all of their required steps, and I was still charged again. Hold times for calls are extended and they just send more emails to complete even after you've already done so. I'm currently still trying to get any kind of reply to confirm insurance coverage is in fact cancelled but to no avail. I don't know what it takes to get an agent to do their job, but I can't in good faith recommend this agency to anyone.

I worked with Justin Oliver to get insurance for my gym, and he was very helpful. He explained what I did and more importantly did not need very clearly, helped me make the right choices for my business and the entire experience was smooth and straight forward.

They can audit your policy at virtually any time and dramatically increase your premium. In my case, on what seemed like a random Tuesday, they more than doubled my workers’ compensation premium—a 105% increase—and told me my policy would be canceled if I didn’t pay.

This has been, by far, the worst experience I’ve ever had with any company regarding anything. As a business owner, you have no real leverage because you need insurance to operate. That creates an incredibly one-sided relationship, and throughout this process I felt like they took full advantage of it.

The lack of predictability, the constant threat of cancellation, and the massive unexpected premium increase made this one of the most frustrating business experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve never felt so powerless dealing with an insurance company.

​"I set up my commercial policy with sales agent JoAnna. I provided my details, paid my down payment, and the policy was officially bound. A couple of months later, biBERK underwriting slapped me with a massive premium increase over past MVR history, claiming it wasn't factored into the original quote. It seems they only went looking for an excuse to jack up my rate after a recent accident occurred where law enforcement determined I was 100% not at fault. If their sales system or agents can't properly pull an MVR or run an accurate quote before taking a customer's down payment, that is a major problem. They wait until you have a non-fault incident just to hit you with a bait-and-switch. Deceptive and frustrating way to treat a new business.
