My experience with biBERK was extremely frustrating.
When I purchased my business policy, the salesperson asked detailed questions about my business and said he had worked out the appropriate classification. I paid premiums for general liability and workers’ compensation coverage.
A few months later, biBERK requested another description of my business. I provided it, even though it was materially the same description I had given during enrollment. The next communication I received was a cancellation of my general liability coverage—the coverage I primarily needed—while the workers’ compensation policy remained active.
I contacted the salesperson for help, but he stopped responding to my emails. I then contacted customer service. When I later requested cancellation of the workers’ comp policy, I was asked to put my concerns and cancellation request in writing, which I did. I requested confirmation, but received no direct response for weeks—only automated messages. I have now received final audit paperwork rather than a clear, timely response to my cancellation request and complaint.
I found the communication and follow-through unacceptable. I recommend that prospective customers make sure the insurer can cover their exact business operations and keep all communications in writing. In summary, I provided the same business description at signup that I later provided again, I paid for coverage based on the guidance I was given, then the general liability was canceled with only a vague explanation, and no meaningful follow-up. I repeatedly requested clarification which went unanswered, and that and cancellation request wasn’t directly acknowledged for weeks, so I spent money and time as a startup owner without support.

Millicent Fila was spectacular in helping me get set up with my general & professional liability insurance. She was very knowledgeable and so kind! I am so happy I went with biBERK for my company insurance and met Millicent!

Avoid them. They eagerly sign you up to the insurance and then pass you onto their customer service team if you need to follow up with anything. Each time you follow up, it's a 30 min wait on the phone and then you get connected to a different person looking at your case each time, I've asked for a simple request to combine my COIs and it's been 2 weeks and it's still not done. The insurance representative said it would be a quick 5 minute job once I signed up. When I had difficulty with the customer service team, I reached back out to the rep to help and was like "not my problem!" - she told me that it's not her job to do that - and there's nothing she can do to speed up the process. They are very siloed. They don't care about their customers. Once you sign up, you're on your own.

I have been given 5***** service from last year when I switched to Biberk.
I just send an email to Justin and within an hour he will take care of the issue.
Biberk is a great company its people like Justin who go above and beyond to service their customers.
I have a business and for the past ten years was dealing with other companies and now for the past two years it is like a dream.
If I have an issue JUSTIN is there for me.
What a genuine pleasure to have someone like Justin as your business partner.
