Bad joke of a company.

This is a joke of a company.

If I cloud honestly have given less than 1 star, I would have.

I signed up on a Sunday 5/4, paid for my trial membership and went through the complete signup process.

When all that was done, I was asked to download the app, which I did. Set my username and password and verified my email address. Went back to the app to login and it told me that my login information was incorrect, tried resetting my password and tried to login again, same story, incorrect login details, I retried again, same issue and again, same issue.

I contacted support who sent me a password less login, navigated around the app for a bit to get familiar with it.
My wife asked me about it and I tried to login again but couldn’t.

Contacted support again, explaining that I was unhappy with the login not working and that I couldn’t login to the app.
They said they would take a look at it for me but I needed to cancel my subscription. Told them I couldn’t because I couldn’t log into the webpage or app.
They’ve referred it to the Customer Experience Manager, the most insufferable and insulting person I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with who informs me that everything is operating within normal parameters and there’s nothing she can do for me and I am not entitled to a refund.

Really, we’ll see what my bank has to say about that.

This is a scam. avoid, avoid, avoid

I subscribed for basic program

I subscribed for basic program, and today they charged me 39$ and I didn't even clicked on the app or used i t for some time. I wanted to get refund and they wrote me they could't find me. I have poof of my bank that the money is gone .... very bad. i wanted to unsubscribe and I had to write another email... no answer still...

Don’t use them

Don’t use them. Did a week trial for £7 then they took £30 out, I asked for a refund and they refused! Send me a cancellation like which doesn’t work! Total scam

Clunky cancellation process

Initially, I signed up for the basic plan for one month - happy days. I didn't realise the pricing was in USD... After seeing the plan and deciding one month would be enough to get me on track, I tried to cancel my subscription. I couldn't find the 'Manage my subscription' link as instructed on the website so emailed customer support. Crickets. Two days later, I attempted the cancellation again. No link to my subscription again. While exploring the site and following instructions, the in-app links didn't take me to a confirmation page - rather it immediately took payment for a Premium plan! I got back on email to try to cancel and refund the accidental upgrade. Within an hour, I had a lovely response from Emma with a reversal of the Premium payment and a cancellation of my subscription, as requested. All in all, a good outcome but I was nervous based on other reviews, that I would have a perpetual debit from my account.

Even 1 star is way too much

Even 1 star is way too much! They are scammers and thieves! I signed for 3 months only for 29$ all together. But a few hours ago I found out they keep charging me 95$ with no consent, and contrary to the agreement! I never used the service! It is all a one big scam to get your money behind your back! Beware!!!

Sign up for fat shaming…

I signed up for this just today. The hard “upselling” begins right away. I quickly realized that continuing forward, they would be charging me nearly $40 per month which I never agreed to. I spent MUCH time trying to cancel any future charges - all while being seriously shamed along the way. When you finally arrive at the page to cancel, their text to you reads “I want to quit, don’t want to save money or get fit now or ever”. What kind of support is that?!?!

I wish I had read the reviews before I…

I wish I had read the reviews before I started. It's a scam! Almost everything is an add on charge and even when you pay the extra, service is poor. For example, I stupidly paid €19 extra to get a shopping list, which has no quantities and no nutrional information. I have requested a refund! I doubt I will get it!!

Pure Scam

Pure Scam, paid 17€ for a subscription to get my meals recommendation, and when you click to get your shopping list, they charged me extra 20€. Just dont use this, they will try to make you click everywhere and once you click it is paid, no way to get it back. Burn in hell!

I signed up and even got a lot of the "extras". I wasnt sure what I was getting but I thought if it isnt as promised then I could use the "money back guarentee". When I saw how complicated the meal prep was I knew it wasnt for me. When you read the fineprint there is no Money back guarentee for the "online" component! Which is the whole thing basically. Scam.

Read your emails carefully. AI driven.

On-going Nightmare

My experience with Best.me has been an on-going nightmare. Their website does not function properly. I have been trying to cancel for two days and just keep going in circles. It is impossible to contact a person with the company. Contact Us sends you to a Google site asking you to create a Google account. The email is blocked, the "chat" does not work and takes you to an unnecessary page, their email address takes you to another unexpected page filled with descriptions of upgrades. None of the Help links are helpful. Everything just takes you to upgrades. You have to be very careful with the upgrades. They expect you to decline the upgrade rather than choose the upgrade. Also, I did not realize that the upgrade price is a monthly charge rather than a one-time charge. Neither have I received my meal plan yet. Also, I downloaded the app but I cannot log in. I have even changed my password to try to get into the app. I just want to cancel Best.Me.
