Ordered 2 of the Mistral 3x4m - Olefin, along with the 2 Kona bases on wheels, order value over £2300, both items arrived damaged, one of the parasols had holes in and one of the water containers (for the base) was split and didn't hold water, Bought for an event we're holding and need replacement items, slow to respond and still waiting for them to exchange the items or give me some news on what's happening.

The delivery was short of key items so parasol is unusable. Have tried repeatably to contact Belveo but nobody ever responds.

Don't buy as there is no customer support

We live by the sea so it’s windy and this Harmattan parasole is brilliant. Clever design it works beautifully. Easy to put together and excellent quality. I ordered the wrong cover by mistake and very quickly had an email from Albert pointing it out and sorting the problem. It was delivered a few days later. Great company I would definitely recommend them.

What's good:
1) Really solid.
2) Design works very well. Both the windproofing (which is very clever) and the ability to take the fabric off to clean or replace.
3) Very easy to put up and take down.

What is a pain:
The rotation mechanism. It swings very easily through 360 degrees ONCE IT IS UNLOCKED. To unlock it, you need to pull out the spring-loaded retaining pin. This can be tricky if it is windy as the wind puts pressure on the pin preventing its release. To release it, you need to move the parasol thru a few degrees, but to do this you have to be able to reach one of the parasol struts. I am 1.89m tall and this is a stretch.

I also bought the parasol base on wheels. This is an absolute BEAST. It is heavy enough to start with, but once you have filled the four ballast tanks with sand/water it weighs over 100kg. It does have wheels, but they can get stuck if there are spaces between tiles, for example. To lock the base in place, there is a crank at the bottom. Turn clockwise to release, anticlockwise to lock. Would be nice if there were a sign on the cover of the base to remind you which way to turn.

Item looks great although the English weather means little chance to try it out yet!

However, service and communication has been excellent throughout. We had a problem with the delivery but the issue was handled very well and responsively

After a little to/fro with shipping times, I received the 4x3 parasol and portable base. Both are extremely high quality. Very happy indeed. Minimal setup required. No stability issues in moderate wind.

A fantastic product and excellent customer service - immediately replacing a broken cover without charge. Highly recommended.

Just put together a 3 x3 parasol, a quality product that looks good and works well.
As always quality doesn't come cheap but as a long term investment its not expensive.

Easy to assemble and from first few uses including in medium wind, it seems to behave well. Well build, robust and a great look.

Clara, the lady who dealt with my order was very helpful and obliging and knew everything about the products they were selling. I was too ambitious though when ordering a parasol for my balcony and when it arrived I found it far too big.
I then had to call Clara back to tell her the situation and she sorted the return and refund with no problems at all.
A first class company to deal with.

Initial order was ok but changed as was to big. Replacement was damaged and when replaced again the swivel element to the parasol isnt straight and causes the parasol to look wonky when up. Sent email for repalcement part and again service is terrible with no response. Will chase again but very unhappy.

Fantastic company, even phoned to tell me that the cover I had ordered was not compatible with the parasol, amazing that they gave such care and attention to what was my error. It was delivered within a week, in excellent condition. Great quality product, tested it in breezy conditions this weekend, works perfectly. Would highly recommend both the product and the customer care

Very useful information provided about Parasols efficient & informative response

The product is above what I'd intended on spending.
However, having watched the videos of it performing in high winds, I changed my mind.
I'm happy to spend a bit more and get a quality product that is well engineered -it looks like it is built to last.
Only slight downside is the positioning of the fill caps on the base 'weights' -this makes it a pain to fill with sand.
Having persevered I now have something that won't be moving in the wind!
Nice to have something that is made to be repairable should it ever need it -well done!

It doesn’t however always keeps dry under it in heavy rain due to the design & how & where the fabric is stitchedbut it’s still the best one I’ve ever had

Bought large parasol and base. Delivered quickly and delivery guys really helpful getting it into the house as whole lot was really heavy. Very happy with the products and is great for shading our deck and kitchen. Also very impressed with the parasol's ability to stay upright when windy.
