Ordered 2 Umbrellas which turned up…

Ordered 2 Umbrellas which turned up promptly - unfortunately 1 of them was obviously a damaged returned product with bits missing etc. Contacted Patios Life and they responded reasonably promptly and despatched a new 1 that same day. It arrived promptly and all was good.
The only thing which they need to brush up on is the responses - the replacement umbrella had been despatched before they responded with an update which was a bit frustrating.
In summary - smarten up the client responses, would also be helpful to have a contact phone number.

Unreliable and very poor customer…

Unreliable and very poor customer service. Goods were ordered 5 months ago and still have not received the delivery. Emailed several times with significant delays in responding. When they do, the reply is the same, “apologies for the delay, the goods are clearing customs and we’ll confirm delivery as soon as possible.” Not a reputable website, do not purchase from this website.

Kids splashing, dog Pepper chaos, umbrella base solid yay

Kids splashing in paddling pool, umbrella base heavy but stable. Sun creeping, had to tilt a couple of times. Tiny chaos with dog Pepper running around, knocked a toy into base once, didn’t affect stability tho. Courier delivered to door, packaging intact. Support staff answered my question about spare canopy parts super quickly. Fabric feels thick and sunproof, pole sturdy, no weird smell. Morning coffee under shade now feels like a mini escape from busy day.

Outstanding customer service and quality products

My experience has been nothing short of amazing with Patiolife. Their customer service was 2nd to none.
When my order (which was needed for my daughters 21st pool party) was going to take longer to deliver due to the Christmas rush, they contacted me and offered an alternative that was just as good if not better that could be delivered on time. They followed up and contacted me to make sure I was happy with my order. I will definitely purchase from them again. The quality of their products are outstanding and I’m really happy with my purchase.

Extremely Disappointing. ZERO STAR

Ordered in November 2025 and the experience was extremely disappointing.

There were repeated delays and changing delivery timelines over several months.

When the umbrella was finally marked as delivered, it had been left unattended in a publicly accessible area and was missing when I attended the property.

Rather than provide a practical resolution such as a refund or replacement, the business denied responsibility. I was forced to escalate the matter to Consumer and Business Services South Australia.

Based on my experience, I would not purchase from this business again.

I would recommend buying from an established Australian retailer (Bunnings) with clearer accountability and local support.

Backyard arvoo, wind blew a bit, kids stayed shaded & happy

Set it up for a backyard arvoo with mates, wind blew a bit but poles felt super solid. Shade massive, everyone kept cool even with kids running around. Delivery guy called ahead and helped place the box near deck, super polite. Crank was a bit stiff at first, had to wiggle a few times, lol. Customer service walked me through tilt instructions over WhatsApp, very helpful. Tea cup almost tipped when a gust came, but fine. Fabric thick, feels premium, and powder-coated pole smooth to touch. Love that I can move it alone without much hassle.

I had a great shopping experience with Patioslife for two reasons. Firstly, there product is great and secondly the customer interaction to enquiries made was prompt and when necessary, reassuring. I would happily recommend this company to others.

Would give Zero stars if I could

Ordered a gazebo last November, with a delivery December, then then the delivery was delayed to January, then February, then March, it’s now mid April, and still no delivery.
Very little communication, have to chase them for an update.
Had no further contact since requesting a refund.

Ich rede gern und frage auch gern nach – aber bitte ehrlich. Patioslife hat mich da positiv überrascht: keine leeren Versprechen, sondern klare Antworten zu Lieferzeit und Garantie.

Ich habe in einer Kaffeepause geschrieben und bekam schnell eine vernünftige Rückmeldung. Bei einem Detail musste ich noch einmal nachfragen, weil ich es ganz genau wissen wollte. Danach war es eindeutig erklärt.

So mag ich Service: freundlich, aber verbindlich.

No update on Shed and it’s almost 3 months

I placed an order for a garden shed on 16 February 2026, and I’m still waiting with no updates on the status of my order.
I reached out via email and did receive a response about a month ago, but since then there has been no further communication or progress. The lack of updates and follow-up is very disappointing.
It has now been a long wait with no clear indication of when the order will be delivered. I expected much better communication and service.
Still waiting and very dissatisfied.

Trotz Regen ordentlich geliefert

Ich bin bei Verpackung sehr kritisch, weil ich unnötigen Müll nicht ausstehen kann. Gleichzeitig will ich natürlich auch keine Transportschäden. Bei Patioslife war es insgesamt gut gelöst.

Geliefert wurde bei Regen, und trotzdem war alles trocken und ordentlich verpackt. Der Zusteller war freundlich, hat die Ware kontrolliert abgestellt und nicht einfach irgendwo hingeschmissen.

Es war etwas mehr Verpackungsmaterial als nötig, das hätte ich gern reduziert gesehen. Aber immerhin kam alles ohne Schäden an.

UK stock makes a huge difference

Really liked that the gazebo was dispatched from UK stock. Makes life easier.

I’ve ordered outdoor stuff before that comes from overseas and it turns into a waiting game — tracking goes quiet, dates change, you’re left guessing. This wasn’t like that. It moved quickly and the updates actually made sense.

Only small thing: the tracking link took a little while to update properly at first, but once it did it was fine.

Would buy from them again.

DO NOT BUY. from this company I waited 2 months with several emails, all I got was delaying responses. I ended up filing a case with PayPal to get my refund. You have been warned, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Ordered a gazebo

Ordered a gazebo, took a while to come in but nevertheless I’m quite happy with the product and overall experience, customer service is prompt and go out of their way to make life easier. Will use this company again in the future and will happily recommend them.

Ruhige Kommunikation, kein Push

Ich bin eher ruhig und mag es nicht, wenn Shops nach dem Kauf dauernd schreiben oder einen irgendwie „pushen“. Bei Patioslife war es angenehm unaufgeregt.

Ich konnte in Ruhe bestellen, und die Kommunikation war freundlich, aber nicht aufdringlich. Wenn ich etwas wissen wollte, bekam ich klare Antworten. Kein Verkaufsdruck, kein „nur heute“-Stress.

Ein Update kam etwas später, als ich erwartet hatte. Aber es war dann wenigstens informativ, mit echten Infos statt „wir sind dran“-Texten. Das ist mir lieber.

The worst business ever

My wife has been disputing issues with this company for almost 6 months now. This is the worst company I have ever seen handle customer service complaints and resutions. They sent us a broken faulty umbrella after 3 months delays then They refuse to accept collection of the umbrella and refund us as well which we are well within our rights to request and expect. I have seen They have replied to advise that as its past the 45 day mark they are unable to issue a refund. This is after 3 week delayed replies after following up multiple times and numerous attempts for them to take accountability of the faults. Please do yourself a favour and stay far away. I have warned all our friends and family to stay away from this business as they are horrible to deal with and send you faulty products with wait times of 3 months and pretend its a one off issue. The absolute worst product and business you can ever go to so stay far far away.

Avoid this company - deceptive practices and non-existent customer service


After placing an order, I faced significant delays (4 months). When I finally requested a cancellation and refund, the company began a pattern of stalling tactics. They provided me with conflicting and dishonest information: first claiming my items were 'stuck in customs,' and later stating the order was 'still being shipped.' When challenged, they provided no tracking number, no proof of shipment, and no evidence that the order was ever actually processed.

Despite my clear, formal request to cancel the order, the support team (Kerry) has repeatedly ignored my demand for a refund, instead using manipulative sales pressure to claim that 'market prices are rising' and trying to convince me to 'reconsider.'

Luckily I was able to claim through PayPal. Otherwise I do not think I would have received a refund.

class action

A gazebo was ordered and paid in October. The buyer is still awaiting delivery. Several other customers are in the same dilemma. If there are buyers who want to participate in a class action, please respond to this message within 2 weeks to be included.
