BUYER BEWARE
BUYER BEWARE — Do not order from BBQ Generals.
I placed an order for a Blackstone 28" Airfryer Griddle Station on May 8th and was given a 2-3 day shipping window. What followed was two weeks of ignored calls, broken promises, and complete indifference to my situation.
After hearing nothing by May 16th, I called customer service. I was promised a callback Monday morning. It never came. I called and emailed Monday afternoon — no response. Same on Tuesday. Wednesday I finally got through, was promised an immediate follow-up — nothing. Called back Wednesday afternoon and was told the item was out of stock, but that management was "working on a replacement." Still no callback. I left messages and emails Thursday and Friday morning with no response.
At 2:30 PM this Friday — the day before I'm hosting family at our new home — I received an abrupt order cancellation with no explanation or apology. I now have no grill and no time to find one.
Perhaps most insulting: while ignoring my repeated attempts to get answers, BBQ Generals had the time to send me two emails pushing an extended warranty on a product they apparently never had in stock.
This is one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. There are plenty of reputable outdoor retailers who will actually deliver on their promises. Please shop elsewhere and save yourself this ordeal.
