My favorite pair of shoes are a pair of Baabuks that I bought over 10 years ago, which maybe makes my recent experience even more disappointing.
I ordered a pair of slippers at the end of July. After a few weeks, and having not received the slippers, I got in touch with customer service. I was told that their shipping department had marked the order closed, but not actually shipped the slippers. The customer service agent was apologetic, and explained that they no longer had the slippers in stock, but offered to send me something else they had in stock. I took a look, and picked something else. Customer service then asked me to pay the difference in the price between the two items. There was some more back and forth when I asked some questions about tariffs (they would pay) and shipping timeline (they’re moving warehouses, but would ship by the end of August) I paid the difference in price and looked forward to receiving my new shoes. It’s worth noting that any interaction with customer service takes at least a few days to get a response, sometimes a week.
In mid September, still having not received my shoes, I got in touch again. Customer service agent provides a FedEx tracking number, but when I check it out FedEx says that the label for my shoes exists, but the package hasn’t been picked up by them. I follow back up with Customer Service, after a longer wait I’m told they are checking on it. I ask for my money back. I’m told that they need to figure out if the shoes were shipped, and if they weren’t they’ll issue me a refund. At this point it’s been over two months since my initial order, over a month since my “replacement order,” and customer service doesn’t seem to be responding at all anymore.
Bottom line — Baabuk makes some decent products, but their shipping operating and customer service are an absolute mess.

15 jours pour recevoir la commande !
Formulaire de renvoi ne fonctionne pas et oh surprise, les articles soldés ne peuvent pas être renvoyés. C'est mentionné dans les conditions générales mais pas indiqué lors de la commande. Solution proposée, donner les chaussures trop petites. Les commandes à Baabuk : première et dernière fois ! C'est triste car j'apprécie la démarche.
P.S. la plupart des commandes à d'autres entreprises peuvent être renvoyées et remboursées quelles que soient les offres, prix de base ou soldés.
Cela fait maintenant 2 mois et aucun remboursement malgré le renvoi de 2 autres articles.

While waiting in anticipation for their arrival I was excited. The box got here and I couldn’t wait to try them on, they fit like a dream. My tootsies are nice and warm all the time, I even went out in public because I forgot I had them on. So I would say wherever you live these will work well. Oh by the way I live in TX
I ordered slippers following their sizing guidelines but they were too small. $15 shipping plus $15 to return them—- $30 later I have no slippers. That is ridiculous. Contacted them to give them an opportunity to offer free shipping for the replacements and all I got was customer service apologies. The slipper are $50/pair and I paid $30 for nothing. This is not the behavior of a retailer I will deal with in the future.

I’m in the US and the Baabuk insoles were recommended by another company. I ordered the insoles but I started to get concerned as it had been over a month and they still hadn’t arrived. I reached out to customer service and worked with Chad; what a gem! He refunded me the cost and then the next day, the insoles arrived. Long story short - I kept the insoles and he still gave me the refund. Great experience start to finish!
I really enjoyed discovering this brand, I like their story and their product. I particularly enjoy their sneakers, they are as comfortable as their sleepers.
I bought recently a pair of Pomobuk slipper for my husband and he loved it ! Wool is amazing for slippers!!

I ordered slippers after reaching out to Baabuk with some questions. Having never spent that much on slippers before, I was hesitant to purchase. They arrived and didn’t quite meet my expectations, but Baabuk made it super easy to exchange and sent me a gift card as well. My second pair (the Mel) are everything I’d hoped for and I highly recommend this brand!
Still loving BOTH my pairs of Baabuk shoes. So comfy and love the design. I get lots of great comments.
I purchased insoles. I waited weeks and I never received the insoles. I was told that the insoles were reshipped. Again, never received. They have major delivery issues to the US. They sent the insoles by standard mail and the package was not able to be tracked. Customer service told me that I should buy the insoles locally. I am still waiting for a refund. This whole process has been going on for months. A huge hassle and I never got the insoles. BEWARE!

I ordered shoes that didn't fit and returned the whole order, via Baabuk's courier, for a fee. I then received a demand from FedEx for customs duties payable due to the parcel coming from the EU into the UK. I sent them evidence of the return but they weren't interested because it had been returned via a different company. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the situation, FedEx ignored me and sent me to a debt collector who added a fee, were equally disinterested and threatened additional fees and a damaged credit rating - so I felt I had no option but to pay. When Baabuk found out they contacted me to discuss what had happened and spent a lot of time and effort resolving it. They discovered that the fault lay with FedEx who should have covered the fees as part of their agreement with the company, but in any case Baabuk refunded me, which I felt was going above and beyond. So, although my experience wasn't great, I can say that Baabuk clearly care about their customers' experience and were very proactive in putting things right for me. I would like to use them again, but warn customers in the UK to be aware that our decision to leave the EU has made simple transactions like this much more complicated.
