Picking up the car late in the evening was no problem at all. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, getting the car and driving off was very simple and easy.

Everything was wonderful, from the customer service to the car itself! Absolutely no complaints here!

Awful experience. If you need to contact them for customer service, they won’t answer and you need to leave a voice mail. They won’t call you back for 3 weeks. Even then, your issue won’t be solved. They will fraudulently charge your credit card for services not received. You will be stuck fighting with a company that won’t answer you.

As an update: I did in fact provide proof of my auto liability coverage to the rental agent at EasiRent. In fact, he spoke with my insurance company that says I’m covered for both collision and liability and this coverage is in Canada and extends to USA car rentals. He refused to accept this and discriminated against me as I’m Canadian even after showing my proof of insurance and verifying with my insurance company. Your company (AutoRentals.com) charged me the fees for a rental that was refused by the vendor, not by myself. It is therefore a fact that your company is unethical in charging and handling customer complaints with respect and courtesy. I find it funny that you would rather reply to customers on online review forums and not even call them back to handle the issue directly with the people you have incorrectly charged. This goes to show how you hide from customers. No customer service rep will answer calls. Just a voice mail box that is never answered. To get any attention you must write a review OR order a stop payment on your credit card. Look up OCPF 27 and you will see that residents of Ontario that have car insurance extends to car rentals in both Canada and the USA. The proof of my liability insurance has been submitted to my credit card company who is disputing this charge. They have the full evidence that I did in fact have liability coverage and was wrongfully denied my car rental in an effort to force me to buy their insurance. This company just wants to take advantage of customers!! I showed proof of my liability insurance and was still denied my rental as they said it was Canadian, despite it covering me in both countries. If you want your money stolen, and aggravation then book with this company!! When you’re at the rental counter and there is an issue, no one will answer or help you from autorentals.com!

I have great experience as the response to my new request for extension of rental was fast and easy.

Booked a rental for our holiday in Orlando. Very good price. The Rental company whom we got the car from charged us extra and it turned out we were the victims of fraud, the agent at the rental charged us for things we didn’t ask for or need. We contacted AutoRentals after returning home and Chris from AutoRentals sorted the whole thing out form us gaining us a full refund of all overcharged monies. Excellent service and customer care. Not their fault certain rental agents are not to honest.

The car was perfect. The price was reasonable, Made our trip very enjoyable. Knowing that the car was kept in a good condition. Very clean car no complaints

I picked my car up at airport and after a long flight was dreading the fact it was busy and thought I would be waiting a long time for paperwork etc to be completed but I was wrong.. Although your service was fine. It would be useful to know all the extras or where to find them, associated with car hire, had we taken these 'extras' out would have doubled the cost. The car we booked was smaller than the car we got which meant that it cost more. The car did not have a spare tyre only the sealant which when used wrecks the tyre so again costing more money. Whilst I appreciate as a 3rd party booking site you have no control on these points, I feel they need highlighting when looking to book a car as it can make a huge difference to the cost of hiring.

I used this site to book a week of car rental in July 2022 for Costa Rica. Paid for full car rental to their partner site (Thrifty car rental). Once arrived i was told they don't have that car that has been fully paid for 6 weeks ahead of time. After long arguments they finally gave me an old van with few mechanical issues. The counter person even told me about the issues to begin with. Since we were in a foreign country with little help, we had to take the rental. Autorental was of no help and could not care less about the issue. No one to talk to and email complaints are ignored. This site is a SCAM do not use it if you want peace of mind.

Example #2. Tried to book a car here in Reno, NV for 4 days. Rates shown on the site is under $21/Day, however, once you go to to pay, total is $320!!! How do you go from the initial quote to four times that? See my screen shot and you see what I mean.I had no intention of using this site again but when searching on Kayak, you are automatically sent here! DO NOT USE THIS SITE.

Renter beware! Read the fine print. I reserved a Hertz rental through autorentals.com. I have rented many times thru this website. All of my previous reservations were held without a charge on my credit card. I reserved the Hertz rental car expecting to pay at the desk when picking up the car. My credit card was immediately charged. Never had this happen before. Their policy is if you can cancel with 2 day of booking you receive a full refund. After that they charge $100,00 to cancel. I called autorental.com but they said I had to cancel directly through Hertz. I will never use Hertz again or autorental.com. Aotoslash.com guarantees no cancelation fees. I reserved a similar car thru them over $200.00 cheaper. I took the $100.00 loss by canceling Hertz but saved $100.00 by renting thru autoslash.com.

My car was ready when I got to the airport; no waiting at all. I returned the car a few hours late due to flight delay; I was not charged anything extra. I was very thankful.

On arrival in Vancouver at the start of a 5 week car hire rental we were told that our AIG 'Insurance4carhire' was not recognised by by Ace Rental, our car hire company. We were therefore obliged to take their insurance wihich was a significant amount as the hire was over 5 weeks. So we contacted Autorentals some time later and asked for clarification so that we could take up the matter with AIG when returning to England. Chris at Autorentals took up and resolved the issue which resulted with us being issued a full refund Thank you and well done Autorentals.
