After abit of misunderstanding Ariston has put things right and they have sorted the issue with the invoice out. Thankyou Ariston for sorting the issue.

Bought a brand new Static which has the Ariston boiler fitted. Our gas engineer came to commission our boiler which serves hot water and radiators. This boiler is brand new never been used. We have warranty on the boiler. They noticed the water pipes leaking on start up so they couldn’t continue to commission it. They on our behalf contacted Ariston to attend to solve the leak. Ariston engineer said he couldn’t mend it due to the boiler needing emptying and refilling. As our sites water is now turned off until March 2025. He said he can’t mend it until March even though he had the replacement part in his van. Today they’ve sent us a call out fee of £99 which they say it’s a non warranty call out. Am I missing something here, why is a brand new boiler never used not under warranty. It’s not a leak on the water pipe into the van, it’s on the pipe work that was already on their boiler.

Very quick response to my request for engineer to repair my faulty.Ariston clas net 38 boiler.Imust add this is the first time in over six years.

Desperate to avoid responsibility

Engineer claimed our installation paperwork was lying (although he hadn't seen it) and that the magnaclean hadn't been emptied cleaned during the previous 2 services (again claiming paperwork confirming it had been was wrong, although he didn't open to look himself to see if it were clean).
Very eager to blame anyone else for the issue and repeatedly said it wasn't a boiler fault.
All installation requirements were followed and documented, all services since were also on spec and documented but still the boiler failed after only 2.5 years. Invoice from boiler co but no written info on why they were charging us/what the issue was officially recorded as etc, only a bill.

No email receive details asking for the reasons several times. Only response to this issue was here, and inaccurate.

Dear Customer, thank you for taking the time to make this review, we are sorry you are not satisfied of our service. As per our engineers report the plate heat exchanger was blocked with debris. Our service partner removed and cleaned the part, he also advised to get system cleaned.
As per paragraph 18 of our warranty terms and conditions: "In the event that the fault is not caused by a manufacturing defect, or alternatively if the fault is due to system, or installation error or because the system requires cleansing, then our engineer will advise you of this on the day and you will be charged an inspection fee for the non-warranty visit."
The above information was also sent by email when the intervention was requested.

Pompa di calore…

Vorerei ringraziare pubblicamente la Ariston per avermi sostituito la pompa di calore malgrado la garanzia fosse finita. C'era stata una piccola perdita di gas quando era in garanzia e in quel momento abbiamo aggiunto gas perchè non conoscevamo il motiva di tale perdita. A distanza di 3 anni il gas era nuovamente fuoriuscito per cui la Ariston ha deciso di sostituire la pompa di calore. Grazie.

Issue resolved

There was an inital mishap in scheduling due to some issue in the articulation between the UK call centre and their Irish support team, which led to a delay in getting an Ariston technitian to look at our boiler. Once that hurdle was overcome, I was very pleased with the friendly treatment throughout the process and the knowledgeble handling of the issue.

the reason gave only two stars is the…

the reason gave only two stars is the time it took for the engineer to arrive. My boiler went faulty on monday evening so i phoned customer services but they had finished for the day, soon Tuesday morning i phoned again and was told a service provider will phone me.i got the call on wednesday afternoon and was told there was no engineers in my area (north manchester), and the soonest they can get someone over from north wales was monday 11 am.
the engineer came over and we had hot water within a half hour with was great so my beef isn't with the engineer who was very good, its with ariston for the amount of time it took to resolve a small fault.
maybe they should have more engineers.

called customer services 5 times before…

called customer services 5 times before an engineer was dispatched to the house to attend the boiler.

total time from initial warranty call to an engineer calling was 2 weeks.

Came first time said nothing wrong 5…

Came first time said nothing wrong 5 days no heat it worked then stopped working again another 5 days no heat wea are 75 and 83 came yesterday and found what was wrong why was it not found first time I paid 99 the last time but won't be paying it this time he said it hasn't been serviced properly my man has been doing my services for 10 years with no problem

As per our engineers report the boiler was locking out on ignition failure, he found the condenser Tara blocked at the top and also the rubber hose going to main hexchange. The engineer cleared the blockage and the boiler is now working. Has explained by our Service Partner this was caused by a poor servicing. As per paragraph 18 of our warranty terms and conditions: "In the event that the fault is not caused by a manufacturing defect, or alternatively if the fault is due to system, or installation error or because the system requires cleansing, then our engineer will advise you of this on the day and you will be charged an inspection fee for the non-warranty visit."

no problems with Ariston,very easy and…

no problems with Ariston,very easy and quick, sub contract enginneer has a vendetta against previouce cotractor that installed our boiler,always looking for installation faults,to stop him working on it,still have faults after last visit.

Maintenance Technician

Very difficult dealing with people on the help line for warranty. Engineer who came was brilliant however you don't allow the Engineers to carry spare parts and our boiler could have been fixed on the first visit by the Engineer.

As per paragraph 18 of our warranty terms and conditions: "In the event that the fault is not caused by a manufacturing defect, or alternatively if the fault is due to system (such as this case), or installation error or because the system requires cleansing, then our engineer will advise you of this on the day and you will be charged an inspection fee for the non-warranty visit."
